Dans la vieille ville
Appartement au coeur de la vieille ville avec garage. Stationnement compliqué, place trop étroite. Accueil froid : on vous remet les clés sans aucune info ou explication, débrouillez vous ! Il fait très chaud à l'intérieur, pas de climatisation, un petit ventilateur uniquement. La housse de protection du lit adulte en matière plastique est inadaptée... Voilà pour les problèmes rencontrés et c'est dommage car l'appart est grand et bien situé.

Très belle découverte de Madère

Bonne expérience
L'appartement correspond bien à l'annonce. Il est fonctionnel et très propre. Bien situé car très près de la vieille ville, du centre-ville et du bord de mer, ce qui permet un accès à pied. Une personne est joignable en cas de besoin et est très souriante et sympathique.

Calm and neat appartment close to the old center
The apartment was perfect, very clean and well furnished. The neighbourhood is residential, so you can have calm nights. It is close to the old center and all facilities, the sea side is also accessible by a short walk. Another good point is that the terminal bus station is 10 minutes walk, so it makes it easy to go around Madeira by bus. Finally, Paulo and Corina were kind and very reactive, and agreed to welcome me at a late hour for my checkin. I definitely recommand this place.

logement idéal pour un séjour magnifique
Bon choix pour le logement, placé idéalement dans la vieille ville de Funchal. La description est conforme à celle de l'annonce. La correspondance avec Paulo et la gouvernante Corina se fait dans de bonnes conditions. A proximité, les petits commerce ( boulangerie, épicerie ) sont bien pratiques. Le garage est appréciable mais opter pour une petite voiture type 208. Adresse à conserver pour continuer la visite de Madere.

Nice apartment with its own private parking which is a bonus. Sufficient kitchen amenities, great location. A bit noisy street during the day, though quiet during the night. Corina was very helpful with the communication and info.

My stay exceeded all expectations. The location was fantastic, offering easy access to all the attractions the island has to offer. Schöne Wohnung in toller Lage!
Die Wohnung war größer als wir erwatet haben und war sehr sauber! Die Lage ist perfekt und man ist super schnell bei vielen verschiedenen Restaurants oder in der Innenstadt. Nur zu empfehlen! Was noch schön gewesen wäre: ein Haarföhn. Wir hatten leider aufgrund Platzmangel im Gepäck keinen dabei (ich denke so geht es einigen). Aber das ist nur ein Kleinigkeit :)

Great accommodation
Housekeeper Corina was really helpful with everything, the apartment was nice and clean and well-equipped. Close to the Funchal center. Great benefit was having available garage parking place. Negative would be noise from the outside street as it's on steep uphill, so the cars and motorbikes are quite loud until the late night and the one layer glass windows are not really soundproof (but that's probably same for all houses in the area). Second would be mosquitoes, which always somehow got in from outside. But overall, we would recommend this apartment for stay in Funchal.

Really good choice
The apartment is in a really good place, in the "zona velha" of Funchal just 5 minutes walking from the main street. It's big and clean. There is a balcony for drying clothes. The garage is a really good plus because it's not easy to find where to park your car. Paulo has been really kind to us and Corina (the housekeeper) is amazing. She lives upstairs and helped us with whatever we needed. We really suggest booking this apartment!

Convenient and like a home visit
The location of the apartment was very convenient for walking to downtown Funchal locations and also to the roads for traveling to other parts of Madeira. We had everything we needed provided. The on-site contact was wonderful in adapting to our ever changing arrival date and time. After she met us to provide keys and garage items we actually never even needed to seek her out since we had everything we needed.

Perfekt - auch für einen längeren Aufenthalt
Die nach deutschen Kriterien 2 Zimmer Wohnung ( Wohnzimmer, Schlafzimmer, Küche und Bad ) liegt in einer weitgehend ruhigen Einbahnstrasse am Hang. Ein Balkon ( vom Schlafzimmer ) geht zur Straße, ein voll mit Drahtglas verglaster Balkon ( von Küche und Wohnzimmer ) geht auf die gegenüberliegende Seite und bietet durch Schiebefenster zwischen den umliegenden Gebäuden etwas Ausblick auf den Hafen. Die Wohnung verfügt über 50Mbit/s Internetanschluß via Breitbandkabel, der einem exklusiv zur Verfügung steht. Wer aus Sicherheitsgründen darauf Wert legt, dass keine Mitbenutzer im LAN / WLAN sind, ist hier richtig. Das Doppelbett hat nicht zu weiche Matratzen. Im Haus und in der Straße wohnen ganz normale Leute, die morgens zur Arbeit fahren. Wer die Balkontür offen lässt, wird das nicht überhören, wenn man nicht wie ein Murmeltier schläft. Die Küche ist gut ausgestattet, Edelstahlkochtöpfe bzw. Emaillierte fehlen, Töpfe aus Aluminium sind nicht jedermanns Sache. Geräumige Kühl-Gefrierkombi bietet Platz für ganze Wocheneinkäufe. Wer keinen Mietwagen bucht, wird die Ware gerne mit dem Taxi vom Anadia Shopping Center in die Wohnung bringen wollen ( EUR 5,- / Fahrt inkl. Trinkgeld ) Wer es lieber selbst trägt, übt für Ironman. Auch gut. Wohnzimmer ist mit ca. 20m² geräumig und der TV mit 27" darin eher klein. Er hat HDMI Eingang, sodass ein Laptop ihn als Monitor benutzen kann und man via VPN alles sehen kann, was das Net hergibt. Router verschluckte sich in 14 Tagen dann auch einmal und benötigte Neustart. Im Bad ist mit Badewanne und Bidet alles da und funktioniert problemlos. Das EG im Haus ist Garage und ein Stellplatz steht der Wohnung zur Verfügung. So ist ein Mietwagen eine feine Sache und kein Drama, denn in allen Straßen der Umgebung gibt es nur Kurzzeitparkplätze und solche nur für Anwohner reservierte. Mietwagen gibt es z.B. bei 7m in der Rua do Carmo 52, da kann man zu Fuß hin gehen. Unbedingt lobend erwähnt werden muss die Betreuerin der Wohnung, die im Haus einen Stock höher wohnt. Sie hilft wo sie kann und beantwortet jede Frage.

great apartment in the center
This apartment is right in the bustling center of Funchal, yet in a very quiet street. Bars, restaurants, shops and the waterfront is right around the corner. The apartment is clean, spacious and fully equipped. The owner is super nice and helpful. Would definitely book it again.

wounderful stay
We had a wounderful stay. We arrived in the middle of the night, but that was no problem for the housekeeper. Was very understanding and helpful. The location of the apartment is perfect. In the heart of the old city, but still in a quiet area. The internet was fast and big pluss for washingmashine, so you can do the laundry. Good kitchen with everything you need. We had a wounderful stay, and would recomend this appartment to everyone thats going to Madeira!

Great place close to old town!
Paulo’s place is just outside of old town, close enough for convenience, but far enough to be away from the noise. We enjoyed our stay, some great local hangouts including a cafe and a great seat food restaurant filled with locals. Internet was fast for remote work purposes. They have an internet cable in the drawer in case you need extra stability. Kitchen was well equipped and ability to do our own laundry was a life saver.

The appartment is in the Old Town which is just right for the multitude of restaurants and the sea front . The appartment is well equipped and is very comfortable. Our stay was not without its moments as our return home flight was cancelled twice. The owner, Paulo was very helpful and a good communicator. We would stay again .

O apartamento é espaçoso, limpo, a cozinha é muito bem equipada para o preparo de refeições e a localização é ótima para circular pelo centro de Funchal a pé. Possui garagem no prédio, porém a vaga é bem apertada.

Perfect holiday in Madeira
