« Nettes Hotel, Essen war sehr gut. Einziger Kritikpunkt: das Bett war viel zu weich und man hat tw die Federn der Matratze gespürt. »

« From the moment we arrived, to the moment we left, we had nothing but friendly attentive service from the staff at the pub. We were fortunate to be upgraded from a room in the pub to one of the relatively new lodges. The lodge was immaculate on arrival and very comfortable and well equipped. We had breakfast included and this was first class with locally sourced food included. We had two evening dinners at the pub and both were excellent from the very varied menu on offer. »

« The hotel is a bit in the middle of nowhere. Otherwise, the room is clean and comfortable, the bathroom clean and big enough. The breakfast offers quite a variety of food. »

« Check in was advertised at 3.00pm, arrived at 4.50pm but room was not available & hadn't been cleaned as the cleaner didn't turn up? Menu was reduced as the chef didn't turn up either and no toilet rolls in the bathroom. I gave my breakfast order the night before but it was not passed onto the cover chef in the morning, so in all not a great experience but...would I stay there again...definitely yes.
