If you want to spend a moment of peace and serenity, you absolutely must come to the DJORFF PALACE, on the banks of the Nile, calm is required, when in the restaurant, it is simply delicious, and all this in excellent value for money

Très bon endroit pour un séjour à Luxour, l'architecture du lieu est très joli. La navette bateau est très pratique. Le personnel est très sympathique. La piscine est agréable. Le petit déjeuner est très bien également. La chambre est bien décoré, il manque peut être juste une bouilloire avec du thé/café et surtout un rideau occultant à la porte fenêtre car le soleil vous réveillera. J'ai passé un très bon séjour et je recommande cet établissement.

The owner greeted us upon entering and made us quite comfortable. Loved that the dinner menu changed daily. The staff was very accommodating. The owner gave us a private tour of the new extension of the hotel. Definitely will be back after the new wing is completed.

O Djorff Palace é um ótimo hotel. Todos os quartos tem uma decoração própria. O pessoal do hotel é atencioso e acolhedor. Os nossos passeios ao vale dos reis e das rainhas foi realizado com motorista indicado pelo hotel e foi ótimo. O hotel tem um serviço de barco gratuito que transporta para a outra margem do rio (mas também pode ser utilizado para desembarcar ao lado do Museu de Luxor ou do templo de Luxor (pagando entre 3 e 5 dólares). Tive um pequeno problema de indisponibilidade do quarto que eu havia reservado mas que foi resolvido no dia seguinte. O quarto que fiquei era muito bom (Topaz) mas tinha uma internet limitada (caia muito). Quanto ao café da manhã creio que faltava uma disponibilidade maior de frutas e de um suco natural (fruta do dia). Os quartos não tem TV mas não faz falta. O local é muito silencioso e com uma vista deslumbrante do Nilo e da outra margem de Luxor. Vale a pena.

Because of this hotel I’m now planning another trip to Egypt with not just myself. I travel all over the world with my job and for pleasure and this hotel is definitely in my top 3. The rooms are amazing, I think I even took a picture of the walk in shower. You are right next to the Nile with a hotel boat to take to the East bank if you’re going to see Karnak and the Temples (you can see Karnak in the distance from hotel) The owner Marina was very welcoming and a great source of knowledge and I hope to stay in touch. The staff are amazing, friendly and welcoming and I enjoyed my daily chats with them. The breakfast are fantastic and sets you up for the day. This was so good I stayed 6 days instead of 3 This will add to your Egypt experience- don’t hesitate, you’ve found your hotel

A pearl on the west bank
We had such a great time at Djorff Palace. The staff is awesome and we got spoiled from beginning to the end. Getting to the city of Luxor is fast. Djorff Palace got their own Nile River boat shuttle. Just text the reception on WhatsApp 10 min before you need a pickup. The architecture of the hotel is beautiful. The owner couple have a superb taste and sense of quality. Spacious and clean room. Two wonderful restaurant with friendly service. And not to forget the fantastic drivers they got - Terik was a genius! My mother and I comes back one day

Yes and nobody informed me of the hot water situationuntil it was too late. The sun is not strong enough now to heat the whole hottel by solar and I have had to switch partially to electric. I wish you had complained immediately and I could have fixed that wiyj a flick of a switch. Otherwise glad you enjoyed your stay and the food and that you took time to write a review. Very dramatic and unique boutique hotel in Luxor. Situated on the western bank of the river it is surrounded by pastoral farms and overlooks the downtown Luxor skyline, a pleasant mix of timeless and contemporary. Our, Ruby, was large with a 28ft ceiling and massive bathroom. The second floor views of the Nile boats floating by were amazing. Furniture in the room was traditional inlaid dark wood and comfortable. The staff are all friendly and enthusiastic. Any requests were met with an immediate response. The only suggestions would be water kettles in the room to make one’s own tea, and an enclosed dining area. The pool bar is the only dining option but is open air. I’m sure in the summer it’s fine, but in the winter with a breeze it’s coat weather. Roll down plastic barriers would solve the problem. The food is abundant, good variety, and very tasty at all meals. There is no alcohol so bring your own beer or wine. Being on the western bank of Nile takes you away from the ‘action’ of downtown Luxor but the Djorff has it’s own shuttle boat so you can get across quickly. All in all we had a terrific stay and look forward to visiting again if possible.

Fantastic Greg thanks, We have an indoor restaurant opening on 3rd Dec. Should have been 1st but usual delays. We are also building a 2nd indoor restaurant on the Nile.Kettles are no unfortunately due to wood and antiques. Otherwise I think we fulfilled your requirements and thank you so much

Uitstekend verblijf. Goede lokale sfeer, weg van de saaie eenvormigheid van de wereldwijde hotelketens. Uiterst vriendelijk personeel. Een uitstekende lokatie met een goede bootjes-pendel naar de oost-oever. Alles wat je wilt binnen bereik. Kennelijk trekt dit hotel een zeer passende clientele. Geen luidruchtige massatoerist wat ons zeer welgevallig is.

good that you liked the place but strange you did not like the breakfast as many peopledo.It is just an Egyptian breakfast plus eggs and cereal so not quite sure what you were expecting. Small hotels cannot do buffet if the food is to be fresh.Thanks forpointing it out though and thanks for the review

This property is beautiful itself, you get the Egyptian style housing experience. In room amenities be like 2-3 star hotel. You choose this one pretty much for this beautiful architecture building. The decoration of the hotel is super unique and lovely! A different stay. Service is great overall and the owners wonderful people that would solve any issue you might have. My only comment is about the alcohol permission, since the hotel is on the west side they can't sell alcohol in the property as in the other hotels in the east. Besides that, Id highly recommend to stay here.

The stuff where friendly and helpful. The room and the facilities were clean. I love the building and the views from the cafe and the swimming pool. The location was the best part for me. We had food a couple of times and there was good choice and the food was delicious. The only thing that I would have liked to make it perfect would be more choir at breakfast or a more traditional Egyptian breakfast.

We stayed at the Djorff Palace for 2 nights. The staff were excellent. Very friendly and accommodating. Marina (owner) reached out to us via email before we arrived to see if we would like to arrange guides and drivers during our stay in Luxor. She gave us some great suggestions. Once we arrived at the Djorff she was there to greet us. It was lovely. The room was very clean and interesting. The Geckos did come to say hello but they did not stay long :) The hotel offers breakfast and lunch. The food was good, fresh and well presented. The lunch menu is available until 9:00 p.m. Alcohol is not available at the hotel but you can purchase it from some of the restaurants in Luxor. The water taxi is a quick and easy way to get back and forth from the East Bank. It is free from the hotel. It was very peaceful and serene which made a lovely change from the hustle and bustle of the East Bank and the temples. There is a pool on site as well. I would suggest that you bring your own blow dryer and iron if these items are important to you. I would highly recommend this hotel.

What a lovely review. Thank you so much. No need to bring your own hairdryer we have plenty in the reception (as stated in guest information). Unfortunately you cannot use irons in the rooms because of all the wood and some previous guests have done quite some damage with irons and we have a very good ironing service. This is a great hotel to stay at while visiting the west bank. The rooms are comfortable and well decorated. The management and staff were friendly and helpful. The restaurant served delicious food. The desserts were wonderful. After a day of sight-seeing, this was a quiet and restful place to return to.

Surprised my partner with this palace and he was in awe. This is a true palace with amazing architecture to admire. The property owner was kind and fun to chat with. The workers are so attentive and you can’t ask for better service. The views of the Nile are stunning and when you face the palace in the evening you’re in awe. The palace brightens up and makes you feel in safe solitude. Have been raving about how beautiful our room and this palace was. Thank you Luxor!

Possibly one of the best hotels in Luxor due to the beautiful location and even more beautiful staff. The boat that takes us to the other side is very convenient. The hotel manager was very understanding about my mosquito allergy and tried her best to help me. She even arranged for us to leave our luggage for a tour which was very kind. it's great that breakfast starts so early. I would like to stay here again but the insects might not want me to. The room we stayed in had no wifi connection. The geckos in the ceilings are adorable but very loud. they added joy and a bit of drama to our stay tbh. I like them but if you're scared of geckos I would not recommend the room. This hotel is the most organised hotel I stayed at in Egypt. Check-in and check-out were quick and simple no problems. Ellen that is lovelyHope the mosquitoes are keeping away from you.Yes one of the higher rooms would have been better for you but we managed. Wi fi so intermittent. Seems to be working there now which is not much consolation for you. Hope we meet again somewhere

Super design Hotel in Luxor on the Bike
Beautiful hotel in very quiet location overlooking the nile. Super design and very unique. Stayed only one night but would have stayed longer. Convenient free hotel boat to Luxor harbor.

Stunning hotel, stunning surroundings great staff.
The hotel is off the beaten track. No track or cars around. You're in the middle of nature. The building itself is stunning and the surroundings match the elegance. The views are relaxing and comforting. The staff are friendly, welcoming and attentive. The location is good with easy access to many of the sites and attractions of Luxor and reception will plan and organise any excursions you want to partake in. Overall I loved and plan to go back soon.
