The stay here was great. Host was very responsive when we had an issue with the elevator. Beds were all very comfortable and the place was very clean. A quick walk to the train station and some amazing restaurants. There was plenty of room for our group of 6 to sit and relax. Would consider staying here again.

I highly recommend this apartment. It is just steps from the San Michele church in the historic center of Lucca. It is very well done with every modern convenience in a historic building. I would be very happy to stay here again.

The apartment is absolutely beautiful, with striking decor and high ceilings. The location is next to an important piazza in Lucca, but the apartment is always peaceful and quiet. We loved having the elevator in the apartment as well. The kitchen is incredibly well stocked and the host has a lot of helpful information available.

Location just inside the city walls made everything very convenient for bringing in luggage and for traveling to other areas around Lucca. Very close to Via Fillungo and the major piazzas in the city. The apartment was spacious and very clean. If the apartment isn't already booked, we will certainly stay here again next time we are in Lucca!

Perfect Esthetic Base for all ages

It was a lovely, well equipped and managed backdrop for our vacation in Lucca. The design and decor selections were a perfect counterpoint to the Renaissance environs. Since it was my 80th birthday, I appreciated the elevator directly in the apartment, central location and variety of indoor gathering spaces. Chiara was most responsive and recounted the renovation, innovation and historical elements of this lovely project. I know we will return!

This apartment within the walls of a Lucca is without a doubt the best place to stay. Everything was top notch. The apartment is absolutely beautiful and nothing was spared making it a stunning place. The wow factor from the moment you walk thru the elevator that opens directly into the apartment just continues as you explore both levels. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need and more. The location is right in the city center, perfect for exploring Lucca and also close to the train station so you can explore more of Tuscany. Nothin, everything is just perfect

Stay again at these apartments? Yes please!

Everything about this apartment is top notch! We were a party of 10 people, 4 adults and 6 teenagers and stayed in both the Duchess and Duke apartments. 6 in Duchess and 4 in the Duke. The apartments are exactly, if not better than the images. The bath in the Master bedroom is as romantic as it appears. Each room is exceptionally well appointed and decorated. The double sofa bed in the Duke room, I'm told, was very comfortable, and the whole apartment is very well designed. The location is fabulous. Central and convenient. The grocery store is opposite helping fulfil all self-catering needs. We were there in the height of summer and the air-conditioning was very effective. The guidance booklets left by the team for the apartments and area are comprehensive and useful. And they are very responsive during the stay, when contacted via the AirBnB appand (Hidden by Airbnb) . The kitchens have all the cutlery, crockery and appliances you need. The dishwashers, like everything else, are new and work effectively. The laundry room downstairs, well served it's use. The Italian system of careful recycling is one the British can certainly learn from, and the subdivided bins are very useful for that. And Lucca, as a place, is perhaps one of the most adorable, perfect, idyllic places in the world. The food, wine, churches, history, scenery, are all simply lovely. I can't rave about it enough. If I could return regularly, I most certainly would. We recommend not getting a car and using public transport if you don't have young children, as the apartment is in the centre, and you can't access it by car to the door. Only local cars and cabs are allowed. The Italian rail system is fantastic and great value. Transfer from Pisa Airport is easy. And everything in Lucca is walkable. Use the taxi app to grab a cab when you need, but it's tricky to book in advance. They normally come within 15mins of being summoned via the app. There are some lovely restaurants outside the city in surrounding countryside. And stay again at these apartments? Yes please!
