Crap hole
No microwave or hairdryer, there was a cockroach in the room. It was rundown and overpriced, the pictures on the site must be 15 years old. One of the exit doors was broken, people were smoking in the pool area and putting their butts out on the pool side and left them there.

It was conveniently located and the beds were ok. But the air conditioner barely put out tepid air at best. It was sweltering in the room as well as outside the room because of the indoor pool It approximated jungle humidity.

Filthy. Do not stay at the Hub in Lubbock! Sleep in your car it will be cleaner and bath in roadside restrooms they are cleaner and the employees don’t make excuses for the filth.

This place is disgusting. It smelled like smoke. There were ashes in the bureau, and the toilet paper holder ripped off the wall. Drunk folks roaming around outside made me nervous. I didn’t even have a top sheet on my bed and I’m pretty sure the comforters weren’t washed. I had a hole in mine and a bug came crawling out of the hole in the comforter. I was horrified. We left immediately and went somewhere else.

Never Again
Well we learned a hard lesson, don't wait until the last minute to purchase a hotel on game day! This was the only hotel left in Lubbock and it was not up to our standards. This is the type of hotel we'd stay in when we were broke newlyweds! But we stayed because we drove 100 miles for the game. It was so gross I wouldn't take off my socks to walk on the bedroom floors. There's obviously drug dealers or prostitutes on the lower level living in the hotel near the hotel bar. The hotel is NOT in a safe neighborhood and we worried about our vehicle all night. There are tweakers/meth heads riding their bikes and going in and out of the lower outside rooms. As a woman, I wouldn't go outside by myself. To each their own. This is not our forte.

The hotel was FILTHY. There were ROACHES, the bedding was dirty, the capret was heavily stained, the tub was full or soap scum and mold around the tub wall-throughout the bathroom. The room had a bad odor. This place should not be open.

This was beyond run down! We left after 30 minutes. We felt unsafe and the room smelled of cigarettes. We lost our money, we drove home rather than spend the night here. The only plus was the lady at the front desk was pleasant. Do not stay at this hotel!

The hotel was very scary lot of drug addicts all outside! Bed bugs!! Hotel looks nothing like the pic. I was terrified ambulances and cops came bc a tragedy occurred downstairs in the bar! I paid 147$$ for a night get there and there weekly rates are 180?? I will never book online after this experience

Absolutely nasty
It was nit in safe conditions. Wet floors eveywhere. Bathrooms discusting. Bith bathroms had pee stains and smelt liek smoke in a nom smoke area. Bar has access to poll where the kids and young women were swilling. Staff was so rude and unhelpful. Screeming at me whe. I asked what testuramts were open and close by. Absolutely a horrible experience.

We liked nothing about this hotel. Checked out 10 min after we checked in! Filthy, smelled like weed and mold. Joining door on room did not lock and the room next to us was occupied with people partying and kept opening door!DO NOT STAY HERE. Daily rate is $44. There is a reason why.

I actually cancelled my reservation just waiting to check in i heard many complaints and angry guests. The girl at the front desk was very nice and respectful to everone even angry guests yelling at her. I didnt want to stay there but she gave beyond excellent customer service.

This was back up plan for no stay at Days inn during storm. Did not stay place was filthy and smoky and musty wife has asthma had to find other hotels. Asked for refund host said Expedia would take care of if charged by hotel or Expedia need refund for no stay

Not safe or clean!
We were there less than an hour, because the location was unsafe, no chain on the door, broken and unclean conditions. We felt disgusted and unsafe and left. I was charged $100 through hotels.com and my front desk receipt shows an $80 rate. There is no way this location is a 2.5 star. This place looked like a $38 a night crash pad.

Room Smell
Even though it says no smoking, the rooms smell of cigarettes. Pool is nice and the best part is that people can bring their puppies but the rooms and inside smell bad.

This is not your family motel. You better have a gun and know how to use it. I tried to cancel and get a refund and no luck! Dont even think about staying here if its not for drugs or prositutes.

I was injured by a drunken man in the pool and the girl from the front desk reported it to her manager who said that there was nothing they could do about it so i left a message for the owner to call me and he never did and the beds were uncomfortable and when tryin to get clean towels or a extra pillow we were told they were locked up and the tub wasnt very safe and the bar thats inside was ok till alot of rude locals showed up n cant forget the local pimp who was hanging out by the pool that was creepy.i wont be staying again and dont recommend it to anyone

Do NOT stay here, save your money and find a different hotel. This hotel is an absolute joke, completely run down. We arrived 2 hrs after their “checkin” and the room wasn’t even ready yet. One of the beds didn’t have any sheets or covers, there was a hole in one of the walls, the curtains were falling apart and the staff was extremely unhelpful. Icing on the cake was one of their workers saying that people usually break into cars at the hotel on Fridays and Saturdays. We ended up picking up our bags, drove one hour and stayed somewhere else for the night because this place was unacceptable. I really hope Expedia takes down this so called hotel (dumpster in disguise) from their website and saves customers the grief of dealing with this mess
