We started our stay here at Wyndham as a convenience to Bellarmine University. Now its our favorite hotel. We stayed at other Wyndham hotels and received the same great service and more importantly, cleanliness.

Upon check in, I asked the feont desk staff to give me a quieter room because I am a light sleeper. I was assigned to room 301 which oveelooks a very busy freeway. Despite using ear plugs and a fan, I got no sleep. The location of this hotel is terrible due to the noise! And the front desk staff completely ignored my request.

Really enjoyed our stay. Looks like a rough area but really is not. We left our luggage on top of the car as it was just an overnight stay. Nothing was stolen. 5 stars plus.

My room had bedbugs and i was bitten several times. Was moved to another room, but i had to wash all our clothes until dawn....was not offered money to pay for the washer/dryer....was not offered any compensation. Just told to "call corporate"...

We enjoyed breakfast, but the rooms were way overpriced even for Derby weekend. Over $1700 for 2 nights. The derby part was probably a good gesture but we couldn’t sleep for the thumping of the music half the night. The beds should be in the back room. Everyone in the hallway might as well be standing at the foot of your bed. Woke up every few minutes from chatty drunk guest. It was clean, the staff was kind. The swans in the bed were a nice touch and the horse shoes with candy.

On the positive side: the staff was friendly and helpful. There was a large and pleasant lobby --almost a small oasis if you need to get away privately for a bit. Breakfast was good! On the negative side: one side of the hotel closely borders a busy highway. It is VERY close to the highway, and if your room is on that side of the hotel, be prepared for a lot of car, motorcycle, and truck noise.

I like the staff. Everyone gets treated with a smile. Rooms were clean. Dislikes: the continental breakfast was not good. Ended up just having cereal or going out to McDonalds or something nearby. Its literally right off the freeway so its like a loud freeway through your room all night. Overall however for the price it was a good stay.

Convenient, but I wish the rooms had wood floors and not rugs. With other animals staying in the same rooms, the hallway and the room smelled bad.

Only stayed for one night passing through but it was clean and quiet. Beds and room temp were comfortable and was able to set the air conditioning fan to run continuously all night, which was nice. No complaints.

We stay here every year when we travel to Florida and then on the way back home. Clean, comfortable, friendly staff, good breakfast, and reasonable $$

The property was very clean. The staff were very friendly, but some of them were not helpful in some situations. It is next to the interstate, so was very loud. Then all of the doors slamming in the hallway all day and night, was not helpful to sleep. The air conditioning in our room did not work very good. At 11pm at night, due to the front desk woman forgot what room had needed the front desk service and woke us up when we had to be up by 4am.

Decent stay - 1st room had a weird smell so I asked to switch and they did with no problem. 2nd room was very noisy because it was just off the Highway but that’s ok - since it didn’t smell. The bed was definitely not a Queen bed - it’s was a Full size bed so my daughter and I were a little snug. Besides those issues not a bad stay.

First time in Louisville. Picked this hotel on price....mistake...didn't understand its location was a close to the Interstate as it was. If your a very sound sleeper probably the highway traffic noise won't bother you. I only got 3.5 hrs before I was awakened by the traffic. Unable to go back to sleep I checked out before 5:00am. I wouldn't stay here again.

The building itself and staff were great. The apartments backed up to the property and in front of the property, not so much. Overall, we felt it was a good deal and the price for the room, given how clean it was, out weighed the crappy surroundings
