We encountered kind staff from initial check-in through to our last day. For example, I am a senior and I always travel with tea and the hotel kindly provided a kettle throughout the duration of our stay. Unfortunately, I became ill towards the end of our stay and the hotel accommodated a later check-out without having to change rooms which my husband and I appreciated very much. Next visit we hope to enjoy the bar, pool and patio!

Classy vibe hotel. The outside patio looked very comfortable and cozy. Bar staff were awesome and good selection of drinks.

Hotel itself is good but its the staff that lacks, you have to in a request a day before for room service I put request and reminded the staff for room service and yet that night i come to a messy room no new towels and trash piled up

A very neat and nicely decorated and furnished hotel in a convenient and central part of Pasadena. Guests should be aware though that they should ask for an electric kettle on checking in. Otherwise there are no warm or cold drinks in any shape or form available from 11:00 pm to 4:30 am. Regardless I would have no hesitation to recommend the place to friends and family.

Great place with an awesome pool and view and sweet second patio area to relax on. Upscale lobby that's classy and comfortable. The room was very small but everything else made up for it. The hotel and lobby was spotless. We would stay here again for sure!

The lights in the entry were burned out so we couldn't see in the room. The bath mat was torn in numerous places. The bartender on Saturday was very rude. The area rugs in the reception area is dangerous for tripping and also gets caught up when wheeling your suitcase.

When I checked in, I was not informed of the parking charge. They took a security deposit for incidentals. The next day, I was on a work call and they repeatedly called my room and cell phone until I picked up the phone. They informed me I needed to pay for the parking charge, even though that was the purpose of the security deposit. Completely rude and disrespectful. And no clean towels after the first night.

The decor in room and public areas is great. Excellent mattress. Very clean. Spacious. But would like coffee maker in room. It would also be nice to have better breakfast options than Starbuck’s pastries at inflated prices. Snack and beverage machines too. Great cafe 5 minutes away

This hotel was very close to the Huntington Library and the Gamble House, which was why we went to Pasadena. Staff very nice. We felt safe. Good restaurants nearby. Will choose it again, if we return to Pasadena.

it was pouring rain but self parking in the covered garage for $29 was great. martin gave me a nice upgrade to an upper floor more quiet room with a gorgeous pool view. clean and comfortable with a great bed.

Staff were friendly and accommodating. Thanks for both the early check in & late check out as it was much appreciated. Very walkable to lots of restaurants and I saw paid parking in the area but didn’t use any. Pool & gym were fine.

I love the location of this hotel. The pool is incredible, although it does get very busy at times. This is definitely my favorite hotel in Pasadena.

Decent location for what I needed, and paid parking was easy. I picked the hotel for its traditional architectural character. The sheets, towels and toiletries were excellent. The only gripe is the size of the room-it is like I was staying at the cruise suite. Details were nicely thought out but the rooms were so small I had a hard time navigating around with my hubby and a daughter in tow. Perfect for couples or single travelers. The pool was nice and well-furnished. No spa. Safer than downtown hotels in terms of walkability. Another gripe, that unknown hotel charges not specified during the initial booking. This though seems to be the norm. Since I stayed at three different hotels this week touring for the colleges, they all tried to do it. Anything above $40 I baulked!

We were here for a Pokémon go event and it was perfect. Great location for getting to the rose bowl easily and great dining options within walking distance.

Completely overpriced for what you get. Room was not very nice and pretty underwhelming. Overall do not recommend for the price you pay. Pool is ok and heated, that’s the only thing I liked besides the lobby looking nice. Parking is a mess and getting in is confusing and annoying from the garage.
