You don’t want to miss this newly upgraded and remodeled duplex. This listing is for the lower unit (2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, sleeps 5), and there’s been no skipping out on the decor or renovations. Amazing location - Steps to the beach (0.2 miles or 6 minute walk, ocean view steps from the condo entrance) - centrally located downtown - chic decorated.

We want your vacation rental experience to be memorable and convenient. Keeping a comfortable and clean property is what is most important to us. We will be available anytime via messenger to answer any questions or concerns.
We take the approach of being hands off on the property unless needed - we want you to feel like you have the home all to yourself!

Note: When making a reservation through out website or when using credit card payment there is a 4% credit card processing charge that is paid to Stripe (the credit card processing company). If AT ANY TIME there is a cancellation, the 4% charge is not refunded.

DAMAGE PROTECTION
The extra charge listed as “Waivo Insurance” on your reservation covers accidental damage in the home within a certain limit. If something happens or breaks during your stay please let us know immediately so we can file a claim.
Note: This amount only covers a 10 day or less stay. If you are staying longer than 10 days we will request the difference in amount for coverage.

Manhattan Beach Cottage Pros and Cons

Pros: Excellent location, easy parking, x-large washer & dryer in garage, plenty of towels, ample kitchen supplies, plenty of beach toys, pool table in garage.Cons: Dirty floors and some much needed maintenance issues that were reported to the management company.

Great place!

We have stayed in many VRBO's in Manhattan Beach over the years. This property is one of the best! It is very well appointed and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. There are two comfortable bedrooms and two baths, which is nice. There is also a parking spot and, unlike other properties we have stayed in, the parking spot is easy to get in and out of. It is close to the beach and very easy to walk to the Strand and restaurants in the area. Highly recommend!

Great location, tight quarters

The location of this property is close to great coffee, food, beach and the airport. Manhattan Beach is such a neat area. The property has all that you would need for a short visit. The laundry was a nice option, although it is located in the garage which the keypad didn't work during our stay. The bathroom attached to the main bedroom is extremely cramped. The outdoor patio doesn't offer much. Communication with the property manager was flawless and she was very responsive. Overall a good experience.

Nice Place But...

The rental overall was mostly fine. However, we were pretty annoyed it was not very clean upon arrival. The floors were filthy, after being there 10 mins all of our feet were black and covered in what I'm guessing was dog hair. I ended up cleaning the floors and tried to vacuum (which seemed broken) but it didn't really make a difference. Several surfaces were not wiped down so we ended up doing additional cleaning when we arrived. This was really frustrating considering we paid a pretty large cleaning fee. We also weren't warned ahead of time that there would be construction going on in the garage right below us for most of the first day we were there. It would have been nice to know that given we have a 4 year old who needed to nap. The property person was responsive and did provide some extra fans since there was only one and we missed the fact that there was no A/C. There were also no screens on the windows either. Besides the cleanliness issue the place was comfortable and had everything we needed including beach toys and boogie boards. It's a great location and very walkable. We would consider staying there again if it was cleaner next time upon arrival and there were screens on the windows.

Great location!

Loved the location! We wanted a place easily accessible to El Segundo and the beach
this was perfect. Very comfortable and had everything we needed. Very convenient having a dedicated parking spot.

Family Vacation

The description online stated that the beach was a 4min walk. That 4min walk that was referenced was much longer and hard with children. The lack of AC was expected but was hard due to the house not being breezy. The windows had to be closed when you left and when sleeping at night due to no screens on windows. When you have small children this can be a problem of safety. The sliding glass door leading to the outside space was broken which prevented us from using the space. The house was remodeled and will eventually be a great place to stay if more details are considered for families.

Great beach getaway

We stayed here for a guy’s weekend to celebrate a birthday. The property had plenty of room and was in good condition, as well as recently updated. It was an easy walk to a surf shop for renting boards and wet suits, as well as the beach. Also east walk to get to a market and all the restaurants in Highland. A longer walk but doable to get to the Manhattan Beach pier. I think it was nicer than the photos. The bunk bed had a trundle bed so slept all 4 of us easily. Perfect spot for the weekend.

LA Visit with Family

Great condo with a perfect location! Good space for our family (2 adults and 2 kids). 5 min walk to the beach. Plenty of restaurants within a 5 minute walking distance as well (pizza, Mexican, sushi, seafood, coffee, breakfast). Short drive to the main part of Manhattan beach with even more options. We’d come back again!

El Porto Peaceful Place

Happy to be the first to review... This place was just what we were looking for - 2br, close to strand/pier and not super expensive. Communication with manager was very good through the app. Check in/out was easy. Rooms were comfortable/clean; there were plenty of space heaters for chilly nights; it's off the main street enough to be quiet. Would definitely rent again.
