Le JW Marriott Santa Monica est très bien situé. proche du Pier et en retrait de la route, préférez des chambres sur l'arrière. Chambre spacieuse à la literie très confortable, SDB bien équipée et balcon (chambres sur l'arrière Ocean View). On y dort parfaitement. Pour le petit déjeuner ou la restauration/bar, se déplacer vers le centre ou le Pier est un must

Superbe séjour. Les Marriott sont rarement plein de charme, l’architecture est généralement assez neutre comme c’est le cas ici. Mais cet hôtel à défaut d’avoir un charme californien, dispose d’un confort moderne, de chambres rénovées, d’une propreté irréprochable et d’installations au top. Magnifique piscine chauffée et protégée du vent, hyper agréable même un soir frisquet. Localisation parfaite à quelques mètres de la plage où vous trouverez les plus beaux couchers de soleil du monde. L’hôtel propose des chaises de plage et des serviettes en accès libre pour profiter du sable chaud, vos badges pour les chambres donnent accès direct à la plage (il faut marcher 50m et vous y êtes). Les chambres sont tout confort, les produits de salle de bain sont ok même s’ils gagneraient à contenir moins de produits chimiques. Grosse déception pour nous : notre chambre « vue ville » en fait n’avait vue que sur un mur intérieur de l’hôtel j’ai trouvé ça dommage surtout pour un membre Marriott. Le professionnalisme de l’équipe est incroyable. Le prix du parking (près de 50$ par nuit) n’a en revanche aucun sens, tout comme le prix des « frais d’établissement » à 30$ par nuit et par chambre. Ces deux frais cumulés coûtent cher et gonflent carrément la note finale.

Let me start by saying we did end up having a good response from the hotel, and our issues were fixed(refunded). However, the issues should never have been there in the first place. I don't know if they are genuinely trying to trick people with the rooms they book, or if it was an Expedia double booking rooms situation. But we did not have a good experince at this hotel. It should have been the best 3 nights of our trip, we paid for the best room in the hotel, the Executive King Suite. Upon check in we were given our keys, brought to our room, and quickly discovered it was not what we had paid for. The room should have had a separate seating area and a LARGE balcony. Honestly the balcony was the main selling point of the room for me. We knew there would be renos ongoing at the property, but were fine to overlook them as we had a beautiful, freshly renovated room. I went to the desk to let them know it wasn't the right room, so they put us in another, slightly bigger room. When I complained I was told that the photos of the suites were misleasing and that "all of the executive rooms are the same", which is absoltely NOT the case. We stood on the balcony of the second room we were put in, and looked down into the balcony I had booked and paid for. A 300, 330, and 560 square foot room are not the same, I paid for the biggest and was put in the smallest, then told the room we did book was unavailable. Be wary you get what you pay for, even had to pay for wifi!

The room was spacious and beautiful and the staff was helpful. It was a bit annoying that I paid for a late checkout and after verifying twice with the front desk that I would be checking out late, I still received a knock at the door asking why I was still in the room. It wasn’t until after I open the door that the gentleman decided to look at the paperwork that said that I had a late check out., The showerhead also needs cleaning. The water pressure was really poor as a result lime scale deposits. The hotel itself is really lovely and I would love to come back once the lobby is finished.

We had a very disappointing stay. We were warned about renovations but not to the scale we endured. The entire property was pretty much off limits, including direct access to the boardwalk and beach, which was one reason we chose the property. The room was fine but nothing like what we paid for. I was surprised the site was kept open, or at least not significantly discounted for the inconvenience caused. Would not go back

Nice enough, the hotel was under renovation so a lot of amenities were available off site. Not too noisy though. Just didn't know it was going to be under renovation (I last minute booked). Probably would have stayed somewhere else for the same price.

This property is under major renovation, which was not advertised on Expedia. Their swimming pool and outdoor area is closed, you have to go across a busy street and down half a block to use a pool of a neighboring hotel. Due to renovation, it was very noisy. There is an additional daily $50 destination fee that I wasn’t aware of, which they should wave considering the status of their hotel at this time. On the wall and door of our bathroom, it appeared to have dried blood that was never cleaned up. The two things that I can say that was positive, is that their valet staff was very friendly and accommodating, and it’s in walking distance of downtown Santa Monica

I knew that the property was under construction but I didn’t realize how under construction it was. Also, the building next-door was under construction, so it was very claustrophobic and very noisy.

I am SO disappointed in this stay. Where do I begin . . . We showed up to this cheap looking hotel that is pretending to be designer luxury. We booked a king bed, and then were put in a bedroom with (2) queen beds. We asked to be moved to the room we selected and were placed in a room that smelled SO strong with varnish fresh paint it gave me a headache immediately. They were sold out so we had to settle for the room with 2 beds as well as a neighbor building view vs. the city view we reserved. We were also promised a complimentary breakfast and then nothing was provided. This place is a JOKE for the price. I will be disputing the charges with Travelocity, the hotel my credit card. DO NOT visit this hotel unless you are in the mood to be extremely frustrated.

It's Under Construction
The staff is great, especially the valet crew, however this hotel is completely under construction. The rooms have all been renovated, but outside of that, nothing is up to par with what you would expect. The courtyard is roped off due to construction, the pool is closed, beach access from behind the building is closed. The fitness room and sauna are completely outdated and the sauna/steam room are unusable. To charge full price for this hotel while under these conditions is poor judgement, but to also charge a resort fee is nearly criminal. The only reason why I didn't ask for a refund and go somewhere else was because my family and I spent 10 hours traveling to Santa Monica, unpacked and didn't want to go through the hassle of getting a refund and book a new hotel in the area. I have no doubt it will be a great property once the construction is completed, but there are better options out there right now to consider.

Construction was going on at the hotel but as promised by staff it was only from 8am-5pm. However, it was still an inconvenience.

Estaban en remodelación del área se piscina y no pudimos tener acceso, deberían de informar eso previo a pagar las habitaciones no después de que uno paga, la información de las fotografías cuando ofrecen el hotel dice piscina, eso es fraude, avisan después de que uno paga. Las áreas de los baños de las habitaciones no tienen extracción de aire, eso no es posible. El personal del restaurante es EXCELENTE. El personal de recepción EXCELENTE Las personas que ayudan con las maletas y parqueo SUPER EXCELENTE.

Amazing stay!
We had a wonderful couples weekend stay and slept really well. The remodeled rooms are beautiful and they did a great job with sound proofing as it was really quite! Everyone was very friendly and we enjoyed the service we received! The location is fantastic and we will be back!

Le Marigot location is perfect. Hotel needs a facelift. Hotel under renovations so I im giving them a pass on that however staff very welcoming and eager to please. Recommend.
