Come relax at this stylish and serene oasis only 100 yards to the beach. Your new SoCal sanctuary is located on a quiet pedestrian street, with a private gated yard just outside your door.

Nestled close to the storied Venice canals, and Venice's best restaurants and cafes too. King sized bed with luxe Leesa mattress, a large and comfortable luxury bed.

Beyond the beautiful design and decor, your place is equipped with fast Wi-Fi, in-unit washer/dryer, patio and all the comfort you could ask for. The beach path and the ocean are just steps away!

A private pavilion surrounded by bougainvillea just outside your door is the perfect place to have a morning coffee, and enjoy Venice’s pleasing weather. From there, it's a 30 second walk on a pedestrian street to the beach! Also, the bike path is right there that goes for miles, beyond the boardwalk, past the Santa Monica pier. The yard is shared with our unit but we rarely are there at the same time. It’s a 1 minute walk to the storied Venice canals, 2 minutes to all of the Washington Street conveniences (coffee shops, restaurants, yoga, salon etc) and a 4 minute walk to the boardwalk.

Abbot Kinney is a very short drive or a 10 minute walk and Santa Monica is only a few more minutes away. The home is nestled in one of the best areas of Venice - close to everything but in a quiet neighborhood away from the high energy of the boardwalk.

The interior is a beautifully designed 1 bedroom with comfortable KING bed, living room with pull-out couch and HD 4k smart TV, plenty of seating and reading nooks, spacious fully-equipped kitchen, bar seating, gleaming bathroom with jacuzzi tub, and office nook for all your home-away-from-home needs!

Outside your door is a patio that is mostly private, and is private to anyone not on property. A high fence keeps it secluded from passersby on the walk street, and it is the access way for deliveries (mail, Amazon) so you may see delivery people come through or the other unit guests coming in and out on the walkway. It also is technically shared with one other unit, but rarely there.

This is a new property, which we've updated with fresh paint, Brooklinen bed linens, Graham & Browne wallpapered bathroom, kitchen cabinets, new thermal coffee maker, vintage rattan furniture, moroccan accents, stoneware dishes and glassware, HD 4k smart TV, plants, a memory gel mattress on the sofa bed and an updated garden that is amazing from spring through fall.

You will have total privacy in your space, and we are reachable for any questions you may have. 1/2 Block from one of the best beaches in the world, a 2 minute walk to coffee shops, restaurants and bars but on a walk street in the "quiet" residential section (away from the boardwalk) also across from the beautiful tranquil Venice canals. Friendly, artsy and beachy, one of our best treasures. This is a great walking area for most things.

Most people rarely use their car if they have one (we recommend not having one!), and ride share is also very easy from here.

BIKES: There are several bike rental places on Washington St 2 blocks away if you want to grab a cruiser or e-bike and head up to Santa Monica, the boardwalk or just enjoy the 22 miles of beach path right outside the door!

PARKING: Please note **this unit does not have a dedicated parking spot** There is free street parking on Pacific St just steps away (no time limits) and a paid beach lot about 2 blocks away at the end of Washington Street. Other than street cleaning Mon & Tues am you can leave your car on Pacific Street as long as you like (do not park on a red curb or you may get a ticket). It can be harder to find parking in peak summer on nice beach days or weekends, but it is easy at night if not during the day, and the further south on Pacific the easier it is.

We strongly recommend that you just skip the car, use rideshare whenever you need and rent a car for a couple days close by (not LAX) if you want to explore more. You likely won’t need one for your stay and may find it frustrating to look for parking everywhere you go. Feel free to inquire if you need other options and we will do our best to help accommodate.

Note this is a 3 unit building and in Venice, many of the homes are close together. This is the price of living so close to the beach :) It's generally very quiet here, and you might hear some occasional footsteps in the stairwell or from the unit(s) above. If you are used to apartment and/or city living this is quite typical, but we just like to mention it in advance.

It's a great place to vacation and relax, work or just enjoy living for a while in one of the best beach towns in the world!

We loved our stay here—lovely location, just a short walk down a little side pathway to the beach and close to driving to everything we wanted to see and do in LA. The property was comfortable and well appointed. Loved the patio space, too. We had a tiny glitch getting in and the host was very responsive and helpful. We’ll be back!

This is a great apartment to explore the more chill side of Venice Beach. The neighborhood has many great walks and is easy without a car. Stayed here with my 18 year old son, and it was a fun neighborhood for him to explore. Lovely yoga studio 2 blocks away - Yoga Nest. Owner was very responsive, and the kitchen was well stocked to cook in. The backyard extended the living space nicely.

Everything about this beautiful vacation oasis is wonderful. The parking was NEVER a problem for me. From the big things like quiet and comfort (huge cozy bed) to the small things like the washer and dryer in the laundry room which ends up being so quiet
 to all of the extra touches and amenities I can’t recommend this space enough. I will definitely be staying again!

Take advantage of being two blocks from the ocean - you can walk to the beach and swim whenever you want. The apartment is clean, comfortable, and exactly as presented. We found parking reasonably close every day. We'd definitely rent there again.

The location is great. It's only steps from the beach as accurately depicted. There are plenty of restaurants/bars/coffee shops within walking distance. I would have given an overall 5 Star review had it not been for the street parking issue. I literally drove around the neighborhood for an hour upon arrival before I found a spot within walking distance. Hosts promptly responded and made suggestions, but it was an issue every time we came back from an outing. It's certainly no fault of the hosts, but it certainly was an issue. We were forced to walk several blocks on one occasion just to get back to the property. The host did reach out and allowed us to park in their driveway on a couple of occasions when their car was not going to be there. It's really a shame about the parking, because the location on the beach is ideal.

The rental is lovely and very well equipped. We were visiting family so didn't spend much time in the immediate area, but the location is really ideal. Just steps to the beach and a short walk to coffee and restaurants; a nice stroll on the beach to the main Venice beach area and then up Rose to the fun places. We'll definitely stay here again!

This is a charming, simple ground floor unit of a beautiful three unit building on a quiet Venice Beach pedestrian street. It is welcoming, comfortable and a wonderful set up for a quiet beach escape. You can hear the waves and you can walk to the shore in seconds. Also close to coffee, many great high end and low end food options, and the canals. Hosts are friendly and available! Bring your book/laptop, swim suit, and hoodie. Shoes seem optional.

Close to beach, shopping, entertainment, and amazing food options. The property was cozy, charming, and surprisingly quiet for being so close to the beach and iconic bars. The beautiful garden patio was the perfect place to sip my sun tea or enjoy a glass of wine from local wineries. The property was very clean and well stocked. Thankfully they even had a whine opener as TSA confiscated the one that was in my bag. The host was nearby and very attentive, making sure that we had what we need and offered lots of local information and must see local attractions. Parking was very limited and required some mad parallel parking skills. However, this property is so close to everything that a rental car really wasn’t necessary. We will definitely book here again and highly recommend it for guests of all ages
