Les chambres ne sont pas pratiques, il n’y a pas de prise électrique n’y usb sur le bureau pour charger les cellulaires, iPad, laptop etc… tout doit se faire sur la table de chevet. Il n’y a aucun service de chambre, on doit aller chercher nous-mêmes à chaque jour ce qui nous manque; café, sucre, papier de toilette, serviette etc… J’ai été là 4 jours a 265$ la nuit et il aurait fallut que je paye un extra pour qu’on fasse ma chambre. Il n’y a pas de petit déjeuner d’inclus. A l’arrivée, on doit ouvrir un compte sur le site internet de l’hôtel et s’enregistrer en ligne. Je voyage beaucoup pour mon travail et c’est la première fois que je vois ce type d’établissement. Je ne retournerai plus jamais dans ces hôtel.

We had a hard time getting in the building, but the staff was very helpful. The room was nice, clean, and quiet. We loved the pool table.

The room was ample and clean. But the walls and ceilings are not sound insulated and you can hear your neighbors left, right and above. There is no furniture to place folded clothing.

Everything about the hotel is 4 or 5 stars. The problem is the location. Not many great eating spots nearby and lots of homeless people outside. Makes it hard to go or a walk or walk further out to eat.

Okay if you want to save money but not for me
Extremely noisy as it is on a high-traffic street and not as safe as I am used to. The rooms are tiny, maybe fitting for students who are trying to save money but not fit for families. Woke up to a homeless person outside of my window screaming at 7 am. It also would be nice to have water and slippers in the room to not walk on the carpet which is dark to hide stains.

Shower in the hotel room was inoperable, no working shower for 3 days. False promises to inspect and repair, no one showed up. Lack of care for guest experience, no attempt was made for accommodation. Parking lot entrance is awful, the uneven damage will likely scrape the bottom of your vehicle. Regardless of careful maneuvering you will scrape.

Great location. Close proximity to UCLA. Comfortable & clean. Pack earplugs though because the walls are thin. I was able to park directly in front of the hotel overnight which was convenient. My only complaint is once my booking was confirmed through Hotels.com I was then required to verify my identity through the hotel, including sharing personal information, sending them a picture of my driver’s license, & a photo of myself. I thought that was strange.

Clean, yes. Loud AF? You bet!
The room and the bathroom were clean - but they're supposed to be, right? I should have known what I was in for when I saw the ear plugs. They provided them because the room is right by the street and the traffic is constant and loud. It felt like an expensive Air B&B without any extras, like a 24 hr gym or a bar/lounge. On my last day, an ear-piercing alarm that would have awakened the dead went off at 6am - and kept going for 5 minutes. It certainly cut through those ear plugs. All the person at the front desk could say was, "Sorry about that." I will not return.

Dissappinting
Staff were amazing - but this was nowhere near the kind of place advertised. It’s basically a hostel, with a pretty low spec common area. The surrounding area is unsafe, inaccessible and VERY far from Santa Monica. The windows to the rooms are right on the street so I had zero privacy. Coffee machine leaked, shower was weak, super dissapointing stay. Front desk staff, security staff and cleaning staff all really really lovely people - the best part of the trip! Would not stay here again.

Quite an old hotel, only the reception area seems to be upgraded. A very small parking with a horrible entrance, which will definitely scratch bottom of a low car

The stay over all was decent, what I didn’t like is that when we lifted our blinds there was people sitting outside the window so I didn’t feel comfortable leaving them open, they have a parking garage BUT if you have a low sitting car it will completely scrape the bottom, in the quadbed room that we had there was no full body mirror, the biggest thing was that I had to complain about the people above us jumping and yelling over our heads during all types of night but nothing changed after we complained so we had to deal with that ALL 4 days of our stay which sucked

I love Sonder hotels: they always find the right balance of being neat, modern, clean, and comfortable, without charging you high prices for unnecessary amenities. Like other Sonder hotels, this hotel has just the right amenities for a fair price. It's also located close to bus stops that can either take you directly to WeHo or (in the other direction) right to the beach.

The Security guard seams to think she’s running a prison. She alone made it so I will never go back along with the rest of my company. Unbelievably rude for no reason and when I complained the front desk person told me to leave. So I will be charging my card back

The hotel’s accommodation system is an ABSOLUTE DISASTER. I have NEVER rated 2 out of 10 for a hotel, but I cannot let this one go. Talking to a front desk agent is never going to help, as the next front desk agent taking the next shift will know nothing about your request. The night before I checked out, I wished to extend the checkout time to 2pm. I asked a security staff, because there was no front desk staff there. She told me that she could submit a request for me and note that I stayed here for 7 days 6 nights here. The next morning, a staff knocked on my door at 11am, claiming that there was NO request for checkout extension on the system and NO payment submitted, so we must get out of the room before 12 for the “early check-in guests waiting for our room”. We were confused and mad but still started packing, but we were not able to finish packing by 12. Here comes the most ridiculous part. A staff knocked on our door loudly WITH A SECURITY STAFF, telling us there was no record of our request on the system and they would charge us for late checkouts. The “early check-in guests waiting for our room” miraculously disappeared and we could somehow extend our checkout times now. WOW. There was another annoying thing about accommodation during my stay, but I won’t expand on that. I’m never going to stay here again.

Staff was friendly and helpful. A cleaning staff member entered the room before checkout time without even knocking claiming that I had already checked out, but I had not. We requested late checkout and it was approved, then the next morning it was rescinded and the room was rented to someone else. They need to ge their processes fixed. Will not stay at another property with minimal staff and broken online processes.

Great location and room size
Huge room, comfy bed with lots of plush pillows, luxury products in bathroom. Great location on several good public transit lines with direct service to the beach, downtown LA and the airport. Relatively quiet and safe neighborhood. Friendly and attentive staff. My one complaint is the hallways are a bit dingy - doesn’t make for the greatest first impression. It’s clean; nothing new carpet and a bit of a refresh wouldn’t solve.

You have to do an 8 online minute checkin in advance. Can't just show up and do it person. You must enter a long numeric code to enter building but the numeric pad is low and not well lit and the numbers are mostly worn off. My reservation confirm literally said I would have a private parking space assigned to my room; a night audit guy and checkout guy were baffled; there is no such parking with spaces assigned to specific rooms. My bed had a mattress well past its prime. At least the staff were nice when they were at front desk.

Room was big and bed was very comfortable. It was very clean, staff was very friendly and helpful. I was very please with the accommodations. Only thing is I wish they would patrol the parking in the garage better. Some people were parked outside the lines actually into the next parking spot, making it impossible to park in some spots.
