Coastal Family Getaway

Located in a quiet neighborhood just 1 ½ blocks from the longest beach in America and the head of the Discovery Trail, a 14.5 mile biking and walking trail through the dunes, our family beach house is the perfect getaway for young families. Located just a 4 minute drive from downtown Long Beach, the house is completely stocked with everything a young family needs.

The space
Unlike a lot of sparsely furnished shirt term rentals this one is our home away from home. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need if you want to cook. It has plates, bowls and cutlery for the little ones. Expect our kitchen to have everything your kitchen at home would including small appliances and bakeware.

The biggest draw for our home is that it is loaded with everything you need for babies or young children, including toys, books, pack and play, bassinet, baby bath, toddler toilet seats, step stools, night lights, sound machine, high chair, video baby monitor and most importantly blackout curtains in every bedroom. It is a baby-friendly house, with permanently installed retractable baby gates at the top and bottom of the stairs as well as outlet covers on any outlets near the ground.

In our garage you’ll find 9 bikes of varying sizes including attachments like baby bike seats and toddler tug-a-bug bikes. There are helmets and bike locks for you to use during your stay. We also have odds and ends like a stroller, scooter and a beach wagon, sand toys as well as outdoor toys and games.

Indoor entertainment includes puzzles, adult and child board games, DVDs for all ages, video game system with 20 preloaded games as well as access to Netflix and Amazon prime. In the back there is a covered patio with several Adirondack chairs, a picnic table, and a fire pit, and children's play area.
