« You get what you pay for and we knew that going in. Very quirky old hotel that hasn't been updated in decades, but the old school vibe definitely has character. Hot tub and pool area was clean and the breakfast was decent. The staff checking in were very polite and accomodating. We stayed one night after the House on the rock in a standard room for only $83. If you're on a budget and not to picky this is a great place to lay your head for the night. »

« The staff was very friendly, kind, and efficient. The rooms were clean with adequate space, but the whole hotel had a mildew smell to it. Likely from the lobby pool and all the carpeted areas. And there was a lot of scented products seeming to try cover it up. I’m really sensitive to chemical smells, strong cleaners, mold, and mildew, so for this was a tough place to sleep comfortably. »
