As the closest full-home rental to Old Man’s Cave State Park, you can rest and relax with your friends and family and forget your worries in our spacious and serene home, constructed by local craftsmen, featuring locally sourced woodwork throughout.

Located within walking distance (1/2 mile) of Old Man's Cave, our home is in a great central location to all the Hocking Hills State Parks and activities; it is just minutes away from the brand new Hocking Hills Lodge and their amazing restaurant!

Our spacious 2,500 square foot custom built single family home features four bedrooms, and two full bathrooms, with all the amenities needed for your stay! It also features a private backyard oasis, with beautiful wooded views, for your relaxation and enjoyment!

All of the custom oak interior woodwork and flooring was sourced from the area and milled by the local sawmill. There are beautiful inverted tray ceilings, with custom lighting, and even more custom woodwork featured throughout the home.

The massive 400 square foot master bedroom is furnished with a king size bed, a convertible sleeper sofa, and we can even set up an additional queen size air mattress if you need one! The master bedroom also has an en suite master bathroom, gas fireplace, and a 50" smart TV.

The second and third bedrooms feature queen size beds, with brand new luxury memory foam hybrid mattresses, and 43" smart TVs.

The fourth bedroom features a bunk bed (twin over twin), with a trundle bed (twin) tucked neatly underneath, and a 32" smart TV.

The full kitchen is equipped with all the dishes, utensils and cookware you will need for your stay and we also offer a Keurig coffeemaker with a wide selection of K-Cups for your enjoyment.

The formal dining room has seating for eight people, and is large enough to handle all of your family gatherings and meals. We also have a breakfast nook located at the end of the kitchen, with seating for six, and a kitchen counter that can seat two more.

The living room with double inverted tray ceilings features two full size sofas and a comfortable recliner for viewing the 55" smart TV which is mounted above the functioning wood pellet stove, that you can use to make the living room nice and cozy on those colder winter days.

The rear of the home features a secluded back yard with an enormous (550 square feet) covered patio with plenty of seating for you and all of your guests to enjoy.

Also, located on the back patio is a brand new eight person hot tub, ready for your use and relaxation after a long day hiking the trails and a Blackstone Gas Griddle Grill if you feel like preparing a meal outdoors!

There is plenty of additional seating around the fire ring, just off of the back patio, which is great for evening camp fires and cooking s'mores!

DSL internet with wi-fi access is included with your stay and each TV in the home is a smart TV with access to many streaming services.

We also have a washer and dryer in the home available for guest use, and in case of power loss for some unforeseen reason, there is a whole-home generator to keep your vacation going!

Our guests will have exclusive access to the entire home (except for maintenance areas). There are no shared areas at the home.

If you bring motorcycles, ATV/UTV's, or just want to park your vehicle inside, there is plenty of garage space available, in addition to the large private parking area in the front.

You'll even have access to some of the nearby wooded areas and private hiking trails.

Our home is a new listing and all of the furnishings are brand new and installed in September of 2023!

We believe in honest, no hidden fee pricing, so you will never be charged a cleaning or extra guest fee!

Family bonding time

My family and I really enjoyed our stay. There were 11 of us. 2 of which were children 11 & 14. We wanted family time together. It was perfect! The house is beautiful. It was clean and roomy. It is equipped with smart features which was a nice touch. We cooked family dinners in the well equipped kitchen. The beds and bedding were comfortably (slept so good) We spent a lot of time on the covered patio, at the bonfire pit and in the hot tub. It is a great location! Our host Caleb, kept in contact to make sure all was well. We would highly recommend this VRBO

Hocking Hills

This is a very nice home in a very convenient location to Olds Man Cave, Ash Cave and other Hocking Hills activities. Everything was clean and well cared for. The hosts were very responsive to our questions not only before arriving, but they also checked in with us while we were staying to make sure we had everything we needed and were enjoying ourselves. It was a perfect spot for us to relax and spend time with our children and grandchildren. We would not hesitate to stay here again.

Fantastic House and Location

If you're vacationing with campers, this location is perfect! The house is beautiful and spacious (and smart!) with plenty of parking. A ton of seating inside and on the back patio. The kitchen is well stocked with a lot of the cooking items one would use at home. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. The host checked in with us a few times to make sure we didn't need anything and even gave us dinner recommendations. Such an all-around wonderful experience! I would definitely stay here again and again!

The host was very nice and I could easily have questions answered right away. Communication was nice.... Fully equipped house with everything you need to cook good food have fun go hiking at old man's caves and relax in a spa tub afterwards... Perfect for what I needed the spot for... AMAZING VACTION RENTAL

My adult children, their families and myself, all enjoyed a week's stay (last week) at this superior rental. Everything is precisely as described. The house is clean, well furnished, excellent craftmanship and plenty of room for the eleven of us to enjoy! Convenient location, half mile from Old Man's Cave with many other trails easily accessible. The hosts really did think of everything and asked to let them know if we needed anything else. We were all able to relax, play games, cook on the grill and enjoy bonfires every night! Our family takes an annual vacation together every year. While we all enjoy the places we have stayed at, this year ALL five grandchildren, ages 4 through 11, asked multiple times if we could stay longer and come back again! That sentiment was shared by all! We really hated to leave!! THANK YOU for a memorable time!!

Great House, Great Location!

Gorgeous House in a super convenient location!

I hosted a book retreat this past weekend and it went perfectly here! The house was gorgeous as soon as you pull up. Everything was clean and well cared for, and had everything we could need. I did have some questions regarding beds listed but the host answered quickly and was very helpful. Would stay again.
