Upon arriving, the clear waters of Seneca Lake can be seen from the moment you park the car and unload your luggage. Relax with a bottle of local Finger Lakes wine and unwind, you're on lake time! Inside, the kitchen greets you and encompasses the great room with both living and dining areas combined. Ideal for entertaining, this area is sure to hold many memories from your trip! Descend across the yard and across a quiet, private road and lead the way to 50' of dedicated lake frontage just for your group on beautiful Seneca Lake. If you plan to bring your boat, the Grande Dame is Ā½ mile down the road from Lodi Point State Park, from where you can launch. The lakefront offers a natural entry to the water along with a permanent dock (feel free to moor your boat!), perfect for fishing each season. Spend the day sunbathing on the dock and create new adventures by paddling along the shore in one of our kayaks. In the evenings, you can enjoy a good old fashioned campfire on the beach around our fire pit.
Popular award-winning wineries are abundant within a short drive, including Wagner Estates, Silver Thread Vineyard, Standing Stone Vineyards, and the renowned Lamoreaux Landing Wine Cellars. Through the summer months entertainment will be a breeze as many local wineries and breweries offer festive events including live music paired with captivating scenery and food. The Grande Dame is located about 10 minutes from downtown Ovid, where you can pick up groceries, great coffee and dine at a couple restaurants should you decide to venture out.
