« Found this place by chance as we were looking for somewhere near Wrexham and we were so glad we did. Loved the tranquil setting. Jenny was great and provided help when needed. We stayed in the Doghouse and loved all the little touches. The hot tub was great and we used it both days. We will absolutely be back but will stay for longer next time. Thank you »

« Huge place and comfortable enough. TV has no signal and there was no sign of a wifi code and no connection that I could make, so pointless having a tv in the place as not useable. Rooms were comfortable and big, bathroom is very nice too, shower needs some attention though as the top head is so limescales it sprays over the top of the shower and on to the floor, and there is some bad mould on the base, door runners also not working properly. « Lovely place but needs TLC. Been neglected somewhat. There was no toilet roll. There was 1 towel for 3 of us. Both beds needed fixing but Dan was good n came straight over n done them. Found 2 false nails in the cutlery draw. No welcome pack of tea, coffee etc. Christmas tree had 1 bauble on it. Just small stuff but collectively was a little off putting. Shame to have such a gorgeous property be neglected. Dan n his family are lovely though they love a bit of karaoke n made us feel most welcome...

« We stayed in Tuilip Lodge for 4 nights as a little break visiting relatives in the locality. The lodge was bigger than expected and we loved the quiet countryside location There is a steep driveway up to the top of the hill it was worth it for the views. We explored the local area around Llangollen, Shrewsbury and had a day out to Chester which was about 50 minutes drive away. There are also plenty of pubs and restaurants nearby which saved cooking! « It’s not worth the price we paid, we booked for 11 person but the bed can only accommodate 10 person that my son end up sleeping on the floor , upstrair toilet floor is leaking down to the kitchen, we emailed the host on the first day but no reply til we check out, So we have to share the the down floor toilet, the hot tub is dirty that we end up cleaning for us to be able to use, dusty and loads of cubweds in one of the bedroom downstairs. »
