A éviter si vous aimez dormir un peu...
L'appartement que nous avons eu était plutôt moyen. En quasi sous-sol par rapport a la rue. Pas de fenêtre ouvrable, sensation d'être enfermés. Nettoyage mitigé : four sale et donc très odorant à la première cuisson, poubelle qui ne ferme pas (les odeurs se diffusent d'autant plus qu'il n'y a pas d'aération), Literie : nous avons un appart avec un coin chambre (literie correcte en confort mais largeur 120 ou130 ! De qui se moque-t-on ? - pour le second couchage, une horreur. Le canapé lit est à jeter ??? Matelas hors d'usage, alèse dégoûtante, aucune absorption, on est directement sur les barres métalliques... Un enfer pour dormir, j'ai du me mettre en travers canapé lit de 140 entre deux barres pour essayer de dormir... Bref, ne pas prendre cette chambre au RDC surbDuke street...

Nous avons réservé ici 2 chambres doubles. L'hôtel très bien situé, proche tant des restaurants et des bars de la ville que de la partie shopping. Accueil sympathique mais brouillon (le nombre de personnes par chambre n'était pas le bon et il a fallu rechercher une réservation). Surtout l'une des deux chambres était glacée, le chauffage ne marchait pas (quelque chose qui devrait être vérifié avant l'arrivée des clients, surtout en novembre, non?) et à 3h du matin, un des gardiens de nuit (très attentionné) a apporté un duvet supplémentaire. Le chauffage a été réparé le lendemain, la deuxième nuit fut très bonne. Il faut encore savoir que le quartier est forcément bruyant la nuit et que cet hôtel est surtout occupé par des gens qui veulent faire la fête. Les chambres sont heureusement insonorisées et le personnel de sécurité très actif. Donc, très bon rapport qualité prix !

Tout simplement parfait.
La chambre que nous avons occupée se trouvait dans Duke Street, bâtiment annexe à l'hôtel basée deux rue plus haut, ouvert il y a quelques mois. La chambre, bien que petite, était très agréable, pratique, propre et confortable. C'est largement suffisant pour un couple ! En plus, la présence d'une bouilloire et de thé, café, etc. permet de pouvoir prendre le petit déjeuner sur place. L'équipe de l'hôtel est très arrangeante (on peut laisser ses valises avant l'heure d'arrivée ou après l'heure de sortie). Pour courroner le tout, l'hôtel est idéalement situé : près de tout (à peine 10 minutes à pieds d'Albert Dock, et 15-20 minutes à pieds de la gare routière), tout en restant très calme (on entend que le doux bruit des mouettes). En bref, un hôtel où nous avons passé un très bon séjour et que nous recommandons fortement !

Asks for a huge deposit of £250 and still not refunded after check out. We stayed for 3 nights no change of towels or bin. Poor lighting and facilities. The room was in poor condition and the double bed had 2 mattresses which kept drifting apart. Wouldn’t recommend.

No sugar or spare toilet rolls & was expecting twin bed option so ended up upgrading & paying extra as un-refundable to rebook at cheaper price :-(

A difficult 3 night stay. Advises that it sleeps 5 but the pull out couch needed to accommodate the 4th and 5th person was unusable. I don't see how anyone could sleep on it. And even if the bed was ok, it was located in the living area and there were no blinds on 1 of the large street facing windows (close to floor to size). Luckily we only had 3 staying so no one needed to use that room for sleeping. Couldn't have stayed if 4 or 5 people. The AC unit wasn't working and when on, made a horrible noise. 1st night we tried it as we arrived late in the evening and couldn't sleep due to the noise. When we realized it wasn't working, we just sweated the following nights. Staff were friendly, which is why they didn't get a 1 rating. While friendly, they had to be reminded multiple times for each request (towels, a fan due to aC not working) and so were not actually helpful.

Excellent communication prior to stay and very pleasant to deal with. Assisted with a bag drop whilst room being cleaned. Apartment was clean and a good size with superb facilities. Lighting a bit dull and needs an extractor for when time spent in shower. Unfortunately there is building works on next door at present and they started early.

My stay was somewhat spoiled by the fact that I didn’t read small print and was later asked for a £50 deposit. Upon my arrival I checked in which was quite well explained despite the convoluted key in the lockbox scenario and as I was in a hurry, I dropped off my cases and went to my already late for appointment…. when I got in late at night, I noticed a slight smell of cigarette smoke, which, with the benefit of hindsight worried me somewhat in that, if it was considered, I had been smoking (something which I do not do) I would be liable to lose my £50 deposit so as I write this review, I am somewhat anxious to see the £50 deposit return to my account unscathed and it is this feeling that leaves me needing to give this review in less than five star account.

Only 2 towels for 2 people for 2 nights and nothing to put on the floor. The bathroom was in pretty poor condition. We were told to park in a particular car park to get discounted parking, this wasn’t the closest but due to the promised discount we parked in the advised car park, when checking out Sunday morning we asked how to apply the discount to be told they didn’t do this anymore. The hotel is in a great location and was very easy to access with the information sent through via WhatsApp.

Service could be better and clearer.
Everything was paid for the hotel, including the security deposit. We arrived to the hotel around 9:30pm to no one being at reception, no answer when tried calling to get in. We went to the hotel on seel street and one of the staff called someone from the hotel, who then took us back to the hotel, only to find out the security deposit didn’t go through so had to pay it again. We wasn’t told about getting an email with a code to get into the hotel. The guy was helpful with getting us into our room. By the time we got into the hotel it was 10:30pm, we were soaked from the rain to then find out we only had one towel, so we had to buy some more. The sofa bed didn’t have a sheet on so we took it off the main bed. Surely if the hotel knows there are 3 people they should provide for all of them. The beds were comfy and the kitchen facilities were really useful.

Excellent Stay
We stayed in the Mini Penthouse. There was everything there we needed for our family of 4. Was spacious, lovely rooms and two shower rooms. Location was brilliant not far to walking distance to the main town and events. We organised parking just behind the apartments for £20 for two nights. Everyone was friendly and always there if we needed anything more with regards to our apartment. We would stay again
