Always Great!!
We have stayed at this property numerous times and it is always great. Very clean, very well stocked and great location. It is on a busy street and getting trickier to back out, but still a great place to stay.

Weekend away
Great weekend in Little Rock. This place worked great. It is as advertised. Suggest walking to Oyster Bar for good meal. The Root and HLB were tops. Red Door overpriced.

Very nice property and manager would stay more in future
The property is very nice and clean. We stayed for 10 days. Owner is super nice and responds well within short time and addresses any issues. Overall We are really happy about our stay there and would like to stay more in future.

Brief but beautiful.
A brief stay while taking my oldest and a friend to Comic-con. Furnishings were old-school like I was visiting grandma’s house. Very comfortable, clean, and makes you feel like home. Bathrooms and kitchen are super clean and newly remodeled. Beds are comfortable and backyard and landscaping is beautiful. Will definitely stay here again.

A Peaceful Stay
The purple house was conveniently located to family we were visiting and it is a very comfortable and lovely home with all the amenities you need. When you enter, you will notice the hard work Jaime and Ruth put into the home to make it a great stay for their guests. Spacious bedrooms and closets, easy to find all you need in the kitchen, a nice dining room, comfy couches in the TV room and family friendly. Ruth was quick to get back to us when we had questions and they were resolved quickly. Overall a really nice property and stay. Do not hesitate to rent this property. It is peaceful and just what you need when you are away from your home. Thank you Ruth and Jaime!

Wonderful retreat
Our visit to Little Rock and Hot Springs was so enjoyable, and the Purple House was the best. The location at the foot of the Hillcrest neighborhood made for wonderful walks with our dogs, and easy access to downtown and points west. Thank you Ruth!

Arkansas Trip
We were very happy with the location of the property. It was close to downtown and all the places we had planned to visit. The house was clean and as described. We had an issue with the TV and had to text the owner, who responded quickly with the answer, but if there had been written instructions on how the system worked, that text would not have been necessary. We all agreed that we would stay there again and recommend it to others.

Thank You for the feedback Brian, you never mentioned to me when I came to help you to connect your computer to the internet on the second day of your stay. I don’t think I do advertise as I have a big yard on this house. I even have a video of the property so potential guests can have a better idea of the space and layout of the place, I do put a lot of effort on offer a high quality service and I don’t think a 2 star is a fair assessment of my property. I think that potential guests can read all my reviews and they can ultimately believe if the 2 star rate is real or not. Thanks Ruth

Making Christmas easy
We love the purple house! Met my parents to celebrate Christmas with my sister and niece. Easy place to navigate. Easy on/off interstate. Holiday decorations were such a warm touch. Everything is on the same level. The dogs enjoyed the backyard that was setup super neat! Granted it was single digit temps when we visited but a great time was had by all! Thanks again for an awesome stay.

The house was lovely and cozy. We were close to just about everything. We booked near Xmas time and the house was decorated accordingly. There was a pretty Xmas tree in the living room. All of the amenities of home was included. We loved the fireplace. Simple checking in and checking out directions. Communication with the owner was easy and quick. We have big kids. Teenagers to be exact and everyone had their own space. It was nice. We will definitely be back to LR. We have family that lives here. We would love to book this place in the future. It was also very affordable and way better than trying to rent a hotel.

Very clean home and responsive host!
This home was very CLEAN and cozy (it was even decorated beautifully for the holidays). The kitchen was well stocked, and the host was incredibly responsive to any questions we had throughout the weekend. It was easy to get to the highway and restaurants. I would stay again!

Great house for family vacation
This was the perfect house for my family during our visit to Little Rock. The house was as advertised. It was very nice and clean on the inside. Initially we were concerned about the neighborhood but we ended up feeling quite safe there. It is located on a busy road, but this didn't impact our stay, ability to sleep, etc. Our dog and kids enjoyed the astro turf in the back yard. It is in a great location and so it was very convenient and centrally located to all the things we wanted to do and see. The house is very comfortable and provided a great place to stay for my family. We would definitely rent this house again if we travel back to Little Rock.

Ruth's "Get Away"
When we walked in the door a Christmas tree with all the decorations invited us in for the week's stay. We felt like we were home with all of Ruth's holiday decor. Although the home is small in square footage, it had plenty of space and updates for us to enjoy. We enjoyed our stay in Little Rock and will be back to Ruth's "Get Away".

Our family used the house as a gathering place when we came to Little Rock for graduation. Five of us stayed at the house and there was plenty of room. My son and his wife came over and we celebrated Christmas. The house was clean and all toiletries, spices and even coffee were provided. The only thing I would add that it would be nice to have a few more dishes as we ran out quickly over the weekend.

Home was clean and nicely renovated! We used it as a midpoint to visit with our son and daughter in law who live in Texas and brought our other adult daughter with us. Plenty of space for us and the dogs to spread out. We would stay again!

Diamond in the Rough
The Vrbo was just what we needed for a family trip. The home has been so nicely updated and has everything you need. The master is separated from the other two bedrooms by the kitchen which was perfect for our two families to be together under one roof, yet have our own space. The backyard was perfect for our pups and the hydrangeas were beautiful! Giving 4 stars instead of 5 only because of the parking situation being a little tricky as it is off a major road and the backyard wasn’t completely fenced in for our pups to be outside off leash. Great location and easy access to highway and everything we wanted to see in Little Rock. Would definitely recommend!!

Delightfully cozy
This was our first major roadtrip since the birth of our firstborn and it was perfect! The house was adorable and well outfitted. We got out around Little Rock to do some hiking, shopping and eating. Capital View provided the perfect base camp. Can't wait to visit again!

Cute house in convenient location
Pictures are exactly what the house looks like. Kitchen has spice basics to help you out. We loved the back living area - comfortable, TV, big windows. More house than 2 of us needed, but we enjoyed having 2 bathrooms to spread out in. There is a grill and patio furniture on patio in backyard. Nice little yard with easy access; great for our dog. Convenient to Interstate 630. No sidewalk to take a walk. Wasn't sure if it was a safe neighborhood, but we didn't feel unsafe. We made sure to keep doors locked. Purple House was great for a short get-away!

This home was charming, cozy, and comfortable. It had easy access to everywhere we wanted to go. Well worth the visit! Ruth and her husband went the extra mile to help us out with a fire alarm that was beeping and we couldn't reach. We really appreciated them.

Very clean Parking off street good. Had to go on google to help with procedure for lock entry Very convenient for my hospital visit. Front sitting area uncomfortable furniture, preferred back. Would have liked addition of smaller glasses for juice, etc. We found TV system almost unusable. Eventually found major networks but not Fox, Fox Sports ESPN 1 and 2 Need an accessible sports package. Bedrooms nice I loved the waterfall faucet in front hallway. Very functional and clean
Six ladies stayed there for a weekend getaway and we loved it — three comfy queen beds with blackout curtains; two living areas for games and socializing; and the property was very neat and clean. The immediate neighborhood does not feel safe for walking but nicer areas are minutes away by car. Excellent for the price. We asked for a late checkout and almost immediately got a yes response from the owner. Definitely will use again!

Love this little house!
This is our second time to stay at this house. The only negative is the road it is located on is very busy and sometimes hard to back out of onto the street. Other than that, this is a great accommodation.
