« Great property, very clean and host was quick to reply. We were impressed with the amenities available (most places don’t have detergent, etc) and the view was amazing! We didn’t have time to go to the dock but it looked very nice! Wish we had time to stay longer. We will definitely try to stay there again for our next family event »

« This is a beautiful older home and I loved its charm. The wrap around porch is so quaint. However, the listing mentioned steep staircase but not to the extent that it was actually unsafe for my elderly parents. You can literally step out of the bedroom and bathroom on the 2nd floor and tumble down the stairs as the stairs don’t match up to the doorways. There is a bedroom on the 1st floor but the bed is pushed against the all so again my mother couldn’t get out. Also there are only 2 claw foot...

« We had a lovely weekend stay for a quick family get-away. The main kitchen and living area has spectacular views onto the lake as does the deck where we spent most of our time. The lake is just across the very quiet street. The kitchen is incredibly well stocked, the host super responsive and the rooms very comfortable. We did not use the well equipped basement work-out and additional TV space but it looked great. Easy to get to grocery store, hikes, local attractions but honestly we just loved...

« This is a charming house that actually is even better than the photos! Spotless and organized. Kitchen is perfectly stocked. Came with a bag of nice Italian coffee, Kurig and teas with refrigerated creamer. Bed was terrific and large. AC and Heat easy to use. Easy to find and surrounded by everything you need, like food, coffee, bagels, restaurants. »

It is situated on a large grassy lot with a very private feel in a quiet little neighborhood very close to a small beach and dock. We appreciated having three full bathrooms, and we found the master queen bed quite comfortable. « We stayed in this beautiful estate home for a week. It is like going back in time to a house originally built in the late 1700's. It's less than 15 miles from Lime Rock Park Track and is perfect for a large group. The ONLY complaint we have is no air conditioning and the internet was not very good- and cell service is almost non-existent. But if you want to get "off the grid" this is a beautiful home, well appointed, the kitchen is fully stocked, the home is on 30 acres, and plenty of parking. »
