I loved the ambiance this place had. The gorgeous church really made us feel love upon seeing the grandeur upon first entering. We continued to love it with the nice air-conditioning, snacks, coffee, and comfortable beds. I love that the integrity of the church had been maintained in the remodeling, too. The porch with lighting was a nice place to sit with our friends in the evening and chat. Parking was a breeze. Our host was easy to contact and cared about us with each contact. I love that we were far enough from Ithaca and Seneca to avoid exorbitant pricing on a stay, yet close enough for multiple trips to see waterfalls, gorges, breweries, and wineries. We definitely want to stay again and bring our other daughter and our son next time as well! Thank you for this opportunity!

Graduation weekend!

We booked our graduation weekend stay at this very unique, cute, clean VRBO! This place was beautiful as soon as you walked in. They thought of even little details as k-cups, a few snacks in a basket, creamers, tea, extra bathroom essentials just in case you forgot a toothbrush/tooth paste, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, lotion. I feel like they thought of everything! Those little things really make you feel right at home. A notebook with a little history of the church and area. You won’t be disappointed with this place!

Country Christmas

We had an amazing white Christmas at this bright, cozy renovated church. The host was amazing with so many finishing touches. Enjoyed winter activities at nearby ski resort and excellent local Italian cuisine.

Charming church

We were so delighted with the building and interior space. Info about Lisle, the church and its loving renovation added to our appreciation of this special place. Hosts Sue and Mike were thoughtful in every way. We felt very welcome and cared for.

Beautifully maintained and well stocked with all the amenities you would need. HUGE SPACES...and very comfortable. Convienent travel to Finger Lake activities. It does only have 1 bathroom but it is spacious and modern. Would have liked an extra TV .... but nit a huge issue.

Just as perfect as the photos!

My family of 4 stayed at the Church Mouse Apartment, as it was the closest "decent" place to stay while we visited with my father, who is ill, and lives 30 minutes away, where there are no hotels, rentals, etc. This rental exceeded our expectations on so many levels and made our stay, which was under bad circumstances, enjoyable. This is a beautiful, relaxing place to stay and everyone we met, from the next door homeowner, to the people at Arby's and at Aiello's Restaurant were so friendly. One or our family members stayed for only 3 days and then my sister and her 2 children joined us for the next 3 days. So, we had 6 staying at the same time and there was plenty of room. The property owners thought of everything... we had never stayed away from home in anything other than a hotel, so we didn't know what to expect, but when I tell you they thought of everything, that's no joke! The full kitchen allowed us to prepare a dinner and bring our dad & his wife for the day (so, 8 people at one time & still PLENTY of room). Preparing meals here was more enjoyable than in my own home! Even the spices needed to prepare dinner were readily available and take out containers were provided for us to pack up the leftovers for the ride home (genius!). If I had to be negative about anything, it would just be that sound travels greatly in this building (it actually has great acoustics), so, you can hear every sound. You can't watch tv or converse if someone is trying to sleep. It's great if everyone goes to sleep and wakes up at the same time though. The bedding and towels were all top notch and you can see that a lot of thought and effort were put into making this unit aesthetically pleasing and comfortable. Not only would I recommend staying here to my friends and family but it is my first choice when returning to visit with my dad again! Thank you for providing such a great place to stay!

Fantastic stay!

We enjoy the stay very much!

20 mins from Greek Peak ski resort. We love the large and open concept of the kitchen and living room. Good space for kids and adult. The house has a lot of thoughful touch. The bathroom is spacious with very nice H20 brand toiletry. Bed room on first floor has a open top design so sound prof is lower.
