Great location, ample paking for boats
Great location for the fisherman. Driveway easily fits two trailers with boats. Fish cleaning station is excellent. Has all the amenities you need. Beds are very comfortable and kitchen is super.

Weekend Getaway
It was perfect! The house was clean and had everything we needed and more! Beautiful scenery to the water and a cozy fire made for a relaxing night. We had plenty of space and loved the openness of the kitchen. We would love to come back!

The place was lovely. We watched the deer play in backyard. Rained, was cold, and windy. But it was still a nice place to relax. We watched movies and enjoyed the local restaurants The house had everything we needed, except a stool to get into beds. One was very high.

Absolutely gorgeous & perfect!
We stayed here for a long weekend. Every single thing about this place was perfect and the kitchen is absolutely gorgeous!! We loved being able to walk down to our own dock to fish. It was so quiet and peaceful and we wished we could stay here forever. The pictures posted for this property are great but you really have to see it in person because it's even more beautiful in person. This was a fantastic find for us and we're definitely coming back for another stay.... or two!!

Wonderful time at Pymatuning!
The house was immaculate and ready for us when we arrived. Appliances were very modern and worked well. Internet and Roku TV were excellent. It's a short 250' walk to the lake and the dock was a wonderful place to sit in the sun and enjoy the lake. The marina was just down the road and boat rental was reasonable. We had a wonderful and relaxing time!

Love Love Love this place
This house provided everything our family needed for a little getaway. The kitchen was stocked with more than you could imagine. The beds and couches were very comfortable. The dock was the BEST!!!! We went kayaking, fishing, and swimming right there. We enjoyed relaxing by the fire pit at night. The cornhole boards were a hit as well. This house supplies it all. The grill was great for dinners. It’s prime location makes it very ideal. We plan to make this a yearly trip now.

Relaxing retreat
Had a wonderful time. The location and lake are beautiful. We rented a pontoon boat and the dock for the house was perfect. A great spot to relax and unwind. We hope to return next year.

Best Cottage Ever!!
This is the 2nd year we have rented from this host! This cottage is very clean, very well apportioned & so close to the lake!! My husband & grandkids had so much fun and made lots of awesome memories!!

Great getaway for a family
You cannot beat the ease of access to the little private beach this property offers. It takes all the pressure off a summer vacation on the water. The surrounding area also has a lot to offer. We already booked our third stay with Mary Ellen for next year!

Beautiful home!
Very clean. It had everything we needed for both indoor & outdoor activities. Great area with its own little private beach. The price almost doubled after all the added fees, but it was worth it in the end. Would definitely return!

Great Stay on the Lake

Summer getaway
Our family had a great time at the cottage. It was perfect for us . We really liked the open floor plan and was spacious. It is great for fishing at the dock and riding bikes on the street. Our family enjoyed the time there and will consider it again next summer.

Beautiful, spacious and comfy
Spacious lake front home, both inside and out. Pet friendly ours had a blast! WIFI for the teens and BIG TV's plural... Really had everything you need for a pleasant stay on the lake. Would do it again, only it's six + hours away for us. We have hit now all 48 of the contiguous, Ohio our last. Thanks Mary Ellen

Family Vacation
The house and location were perfect for our family vacation! We loved that we could dock our pontoon and boat at the docks, a short walk away from the house! The mosquitoes were pretty bad at the start of the week but Mary Ellen had them sprayed organically and that took care of most of them. Would definitely recommend this property for a relaxing vacation! 😊

A great vacation / fisherman's Destination
A great roomy place, set up for the fisherman-woman. There is a fish cleaning station prepared for cleaning fish. And a nice new dock for docking your boat. The well water was smelly at first but by the end of a week it was more normal. The drinking water filter certainly helped. Even though it is a little pricey, most things are currently new and remodeled.

Beautiful Lakeside Home
We really enjoyed our stay at this beautiful home. It was actually better than expected which isn't always the norm when renting a vacation home. It had more amenities than I could list and everything appeared to be newer and in excellent condition. The communications with Mary Ellen were very good and she answered my few questions quickly. I can think of nothing that would hold us back from renting this home again....hopefully this summer!

What a beautiful property! It felt more like staying at the home of a family member—so warm and cozy. Everything was thought of—there were paper products, coffee, ample towels and pillows, etc. Lots of space and a great kitchen. With all hard surface floors, it managed to feel homey but also spotlessly clean—not even any dust! And for a pet friendly property, you’d never know animals had ever been there. We actually called it the magic house because it seemed to be bigger on the inside than the outside! 😂 We will definitely be back!

Lakeside cottage
The cottage is completely refurbished and a great place to enjoy the lake. The large open kitchen was easy to cook for a group and had all the necessary utensils and appliances. Three roku smart TVs for inside entertainment and plenty of things to do outside as well.

Relaxing getaway
My wife and I wanted a relaxing getaway by a lake and this was it. The property is very wooded and runs to the lake. The house is very nice and clean. We had a good time and look forward to renting it again.

Very clean
The main thing I look for is cleanliness and this place was very clean. The washer/dryer look brand new. The kitchen is adorable. The beds are very nice (some complained to hard of mattresses ) I slept very well. Nice new master bathroom. Nice glasses and plates. Plenty of silverware. Nice big kitchen sink. Good coffee was provided(being own creamer) . Bring your own salt/pepper we couldn’t find any. Lol. Nice TVs Nice living areas. Nice cute like lamps. The water has an odor (Bring water to drink) . Nice fire pit with wood. A tree fell so kind of difficult to fish from the property. We fished at the marina which was very clean and nice. Everything was perfect overall. I loved the gravel so there was no mud.

Saunny, Thanks for your review. I will bring salt and pepper. We will be working on the fallen tree very soon. I wonder if you used the water filter on the sink. Just turn the knob to the left and it filters the water. We are happy you appreciated the gravel. Before the gravel there definitely was lots of mud. We have also planted grass seed so by next year we are looking for a wonderful green grassy lawn. Welsome back. Mary ELlen

Girls retreat
We enjoyed the quiet and serenity of the lake! The ease of launching the kyak, and paddle board was awesome. The lake water temperature was like bath water. The cottage was amazing, and like a five star resort. The amenities are plentiful, with 3 bedrooms, 3 tv’s , a well lit patio for entertaining! A full kitchen with stocked cooking utensils and cookware. A coffee pot with all the makings available. We were pleased with our stay, and look forward to returning in the near future! We ate out at the local restaurants, and I recommend the crooked paddle, shooters, and the family restaurant!! The fire pit under the stars was relaxing, and the wood is stacked in abundance. We were treated like family, and felt welcomed for sure . Can’t wait to return to this newly rehabbed cottage!!!

Outstanding
This place was outstanding.. This home had everything you would need to move right in the place. We went there for the weekend and didn't want to leave. It was decorated with charm and the place was spotless. Every room was inviting. The owner was very informative about the property and shared how she renovated the home. The days were fun, we swam in the lake and my son and grandchildren had a great time. Between the games for the kids and the fire pit with roasting hot dogs, the kids were happy. I can't wait to go back!

Perfect Pymatuning Stay!
Beautifully appointed home with plenty of space for the family! The host was accommodating, kind, and communicative - one of our best rental experiences to date! House was modern, spotless, and well equipped with essentials and more! The lake access from the property was a sweet little fishing spot where we also launched our kayaks. Saw bald eagles and were joined by fawns on the property each morning. We enjoyed peaceful evening campfires at the large fire pit area. Highly recommend visiting the spillway to feed the fish, getting pizza from Covered Bridge, ice cream at Yorkies, and the delicious dinners at 215 restaurant. We will definitely be back!
