« We had originally booked the studio apt for Jan 9 to visit an elderly parent - a family emergency came up and we had to move our visit to as soon as possible - the owner kindly allowed us to transfer the booking to an earlier date, the 5th (the day after my distressed call) at the cottage instead so other family members could stay as well. Owner is not local, so apparently did not know that the cottage was not quite prepared for guests- it was clean, but not stocked and had some repairs going...

« Best place we have ever stayed. Magical. Felt like ihad been there and possibly lived there before. However, I do have a few comments:After a week…I felt there should be a ground floor bedroom outside of the bathroom (where the grill is located) for handicapped or older guests who do not wish to go up and down the stairs.
