Stunning Downtown Studio in Lewes

A first-class studio, newly constructed @ Preservation Forge, located in the heart of downtown Lewes--named 2022 most beautiful city in America--a stones throw from the beach, boutiques, restaurants, & cultural destinations of this charming town. Custom wood details from Old Wood Delaware (visit our store on the first floor of the building) make this a strikingly beautiful space. It boasts a king bed and pullout queen sofa bed, stocked kitchen, lounging space, and full bath with designer tiled shower, and washer/dryer.

-The Space-
Stepping into our charming, newly renovated studio, you will enjoy the old brick columns and reclaimed wood details, including the antique support beam, and solid wide plank white oak flooring. The king sized bed is beautifully appointed with the softest linens. In the gathering area, there is a comfy loveseat (which folds out into a queen sized bed with an upgraded memory foam mattress) and a large Smart TV. Behind the loveseat is a large antique wood slab sofa console which duals as a work or dining space with three stools. The open layout includes a fully stocked kitchenette with a honed granite counter and custom tiled backsplash. There is a full-sized refrigerator, dishwasher, induction stovetop, microwave (which is also a convection oven), and kitchen disposal. You’ll appreciate all of the accent lighting throughout, that enhances the ambiance of the space. A stunning fully custom tiled designer bathroom includes a custom floating white oak granite-topped vanity, highlighted by under cabinet lighting and a backlit vanity mirror. The bathroom is stocked with body soap, shampoo/conditioner, and luxury towels.

The suite offers its own private digital keyless entrance. Included is 1 private parking space as well as free on-street parking. Enjoy your private deck off of the kitchen, including outdoor lighting. In the exterior storage closet, down the entryway steps, you will find a beach cart & chairs to use as a courtesy during your stay.

Staying here is like having your own vacation apartment. Easy check-in and out, come and go as you please, everything you need in easy reach! It offered me the perfect blend of comfort and convenience to let me enjoy a thoroughly relaxing getaway. And Mary the host made me feel most welcome, for a second time. I doubt I could find a better stay anywhere else in the Lewes-Rehoboth area. Next time I return, I'll look here first and hope it's available.

We really enjoyed our stay at Mary's studio in Lewes, Delaware. We wondered if the studio would be smallish but were pleased that it was bigger than expected. It is very well decorated and very well positioned to walk to all the points of interest and restaurants in Lewes. Great location in downtown Lewes

Beautiful studio apartment right in downtown Lewes. Not only was it easy to walk to stores and restaurants, but the host was responsive and communicative. The studio had everything we needed included beach equipment for us to use. I would recommend to others and hope to visit again.

Stunning Studio

What a beautiful oasis in the middle of Lewes. The space is so relaxing and had everything we needed. Bed was very comfortable, towels were thick and soft, kitchen was well equipped pretty glassware and dishes. The pictures don’t lie!Mary was very responsive when I had questions. It is located close to restaurants and shops and a great grocery for essentials just a few blocks away. The beach is about a mile down the road. It was hard to leave!

Perfect location with comforts of home

This studio apartment was more than perfect in every way for our weekend stay in downtown Lewes. We couldn’t be happier with the location. We were a quick walk away from shops, restaurants and the bay. Everything we needed was within walking distance. The apartment was so comfortable from the bed to the couch to the spacious shower. Terrific Studio Stay

Conveniently located studio in downtown Lewes was perfect for a quick getaway. Kitchenette was well stocked as was the rest of the apartment. The bed was very comfortable and the bath and sink areas spa-like. Highly recommend this place and would definitely stay again. Owner and cleaning lady were kind enough (and honest) by letting me know I’d left jewelry behind so I could return and retrieve it.

Second time staying

We love this property’s location! There are so many fantastic walkable restaurants in downtown Lewes. The beach is a short drive, as are numerous other attractions like Big Oyster Brewing. If you want to venture even further to Rehoboth, it’s easy to secure transport via Uber or Lyft. The property is perfect for couples looking to get away for a long weekend! We’ll definitely be staying here again.

Sweet Suite!

Lewes is one of our favorite getaways each year since we discovered Cape Henlopen in the early 1990s. We also enjoy visiting and supporting the restaurants and shops downtown. This year we found the Suites at Preservation Forge, - one more reason we can’t wait to return to Lewes next year! September 2024 We stayed in Studio B which exceeded our expectations. Our host responded quickly to questions and was able to accommodate our request for early check in. The apartment was clean and well appointed with pleasant lighting, comfortable bed linens, room darkening blinds to block the morning sun, beautiful bathroom with a large walk-in shower, convenience of a kitchen, and onsite parking on Location, Location, Location! Walkable to all of our favorite restaurants, shops, and an art gallery. Recommended these accommodations to friends and family already!
