Belle propriété
Nous n’avons passé qu’une nuit, nous n’avons pu profiter des installations, piscine intérieure etc. Idéal pour des familles.

Stunning castle, with all the services (swimming pool, gym, soft play) included! Plus you can go on horse riding, excluded for the services but worth a visit. kids loved it and for grown up so peaceful.

Staff we are very helpful and the room was nice and clean but smaller than we expected given that we booked it through Expedia and I am a gold member of Expedia so was expected a little bit better. I also had some confusing emails sent directly from the hotel and not through Expedia, which had wrong credit card details ... something that is the situation should look into.

Apartment was amazing - huge rooms/ high ceilings. Staff were very helpful and welcoming. We loved the pool and games room with the kids.

Was amazing we booked just for a room for the night and was upgraded on arrival to a suit. Was amazing gutted it was only just one night. Food was great and service was excellent.

Wi Fi password provided didn’t work. No phone signal due to being in a remote location, hence no mobile phone usage. It also wasn’t made clear when booking that all rooms are entered from outside the building, like a motel.No sign to indicate the name of our Room, so some random guy woke us up at 8am banging on our door, thinking it was his friends room. Bedroom CH radiator didn’t work, so the bedroom was cold. Finally the room simply wasn’t worth the price point of £140 pn, as the shower tray was moldy, the leather settee had dried blue ink blotches all over it and the furniture looked as if it had come from a charity shop.

Overnight stay
Friendly welcome from reception staff. Lovely meal in restaurant in the evening and a delicious breakfast. Rooms were clean and very comfortable, would book here again.

Lovely and quiet, with fabulous food. I missed on getting my arrival pack email before I departed for my stay, listing the facilities available, which would have been useful to prepare. However, overall the staff were friendly and a nice place to stay.

Great stay lovely restaurant very comfortable room I was disappointed that the entire castle is converted to rooms - I was hoping there would be check in or a nice original lobby or reading room We accessed our room from outside at a newer addition so we did not get a castle feel.

When we arrived at our apartment unit one of the bedroom 2 windows were covered with about 50/60 flies inside on the glass and the window in the ensuite bathroom was covered with loads of fly's when I went to report it the manager eventually came to speak to me no apology and tried to say it was just because of the hot weather I said can't be as the bedroom next door was fine she was very rude and arrogant considering she hadna even seen what the room was like herself,they sent maintenance guy up and his first words when he saw in room was bloody hell you can't stay here something as died around that area and we will sort you out with something else but when he went back to see manager she couldna even come out to speak to us she just sent out a junior staff member to say nothing they could do and were fully booked so no other units in hotel or in any of the lodges spread round the grounds which I found surprising as the place was very quiet with not many people going about and nobody using the swimming pool and leisure facilities,no apology again ,terrible customer services

Man darf nicht zu viel erwarten, schon gar kein „Castle“. Zimmer ohne besondere Aussicht heißt hier, aus einem kleinen Fenster im hässlichen Anbau auf eine drei Meter entfernte Wand zu schauen. Die gezeigten Bilder täuschen, das Schloss kann man nur von außen kennenlernen. Die Zimmer sind ordentlich, aber zu klein. Die ganze Atmosphäre im „Estate“ ist nicht schön, man kommt sich als Hotelgast ziemlich nebenbei laufend/ überflüssig vor.

Excellent facilities
The room was clean and had everything we needed for a night away (shampoo, conditioner, soap, dressing gowns, hairdryer all available). The estate had excellent facilities which we could use free of charge, which we were unaware of before arrival - badminton, tennis, swimming pool and sauna, snooker. As it was the school holidays there was also a list of activities and sessions running throughout the day. Bed wasn't the most comfortable and the room only had blinds, no curtains, so was very bright in the morning when the sun came up. The restaurant onsite is pricey but the food was nice. Would stay again.

If you are within ten miles of this hotel, why are you not booking this right now?! What a beautiful spot next to a loch and right on the bus line going up or down the coast. Wonderful restaurant and staff and very clean. Lots of activities - we were hiking the Fife Coastal Path and only stayed one night, but there were many families enjoying an entire holiday here. Nice bar, too. Indoor pool! Only one we saw during our trip to Scotland. We didn't use it but it's nice if you have kids!
