Letterard cottage
Entre mer, montagne et landes, nous avons passé une excellente semaine dans ce cottage spacieux, joliment décoré avec les tableaux de notre hôtesse. Un endroit serein, apaisant et une maison d’une grande propreté. Nous avons de plus bénéficié d’un grand soleil tout au long de notre séjour. Eillen, nous reviendrons !

Un séjour au calme.
Pour qui aime la tranquilité, c'est l'endroit idéal. Aucun bruit, une seule visite: un lapin. Maison très agréable bien chauffée, bien équipée et bien tenue avec de belles vues sur la baie.

Pour les amoureux de la nature
La maison d ’Eileen est accueillante, chaleureuse et offre tous les équipements qui ont contribué à la réussite de notre séjour. Elle est soignée, spacieuse et agréablement décorée par les œuvres d ’Eileen.La vue sur la baie de Roundstone en fait un spectacle permanent. Les commerces les plus proches se trouvent à 7_8 km.Eileen a eu à cœur de nous indiquer les coins à visiter.On trouve beaucoup de documentations ainsi que des cartes détaillées dans la maison. C est un endroit où nous reviendrons avec plaisir.

Du bonheur
Très grande maison confortable avec la mer presque tout autour, beaucoup de chaleur et de goût dans l aménagement. Petit bémol les matelas 130 et 90) qui demanderaient à être changés. Situation parfaite pour découvrir le Connemara. Très bon accueil.

Une superbe semaine
Nous avons passés avec mon épouse des vacances de rêves. La maison de Eileen est tout simplement superbe avec tout le confort possible. Vous avez l'impression d'être au milieu de rien au bord de l'océan. Eileen vous reçoit avec beaucoup de gentillesse et vous donne tout les renseignements nécessaires pour que votre séjour soit le plus agréable possible. Le temps n'était pas de la partie, ce qui n'enlève pas toute la beauté et le charme de l'Irlande plus particulièrement du Connemara. Je vous conseille d'aller à Cleef of Moher (exceptionnelles falaises). C'est un peu long en trajet, mais ça vaut le coup. Allez à Cleefden, petite ville très sympa, aux bons pubs. De Cleefden, vous faites la skyroad, si il fait beau, les sites et couleurs sont magnifiques. Et encore pleins de choses à faire... encore un grand merci à Eileen pour sont accueil et sa gentillesse. Nous reviendrons...

Thank you, I am delighted when guests enjoy them selves. The weather may not be so kind in February but the country side still has its magic, and colours. A peaceful place just to seat back and look at the sea through the large windows.

nous avons beaucoup apprécié notre séjour dans le gîte de madame Nonnan Connolly. Nous avons été reçu avec un grand sourire et beaucoup de chaleur humaine .la maison est magnifique,elle est très confortable,décoré avec goût,le paysage est magique. Installé face à la mer,face aux montagnes,il y règne une ambiance calme et reposante. La localisation du gîte est en effet idéale pour visiter le connémara. Nous sommes repartie des étoiles pleins les yeux et espérons revenir trés vite.

Thank you, I am happy when guests enjoy their holiday rental. In October the day light is shorter than the summer months, but we have magnificent stars in the sky and the big bright autumn moon has a magical reflection on the landscape and sea.

Wunderbares Haus in toller Umgebung
Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit in einem wunderbar gemütlichen und wirklich großartig gelegenen Haus direkt an der Meeresbucht. Die Einrichtung war tip-top, die Besitzerin sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Es gibt mehr als genug Platz, weil das Cottage sehr geräumig ist. Die Einrichtung und Ausstattung lässt nichts zu wünschen übrig. Der Blick über die Bucht und auf die Berge ist einfach großartig! Es gibt im Haus auch einige Wanderführer, und Eileen berät auch gerne bei Touren. Wir können dieses Cottage wirklich nur empfehlen!

Wunderschönes Ferienhaus
Das schönste Ferienhaus in dem wir je unsere Ferien verbracht haben. Es ist einfach traumhaft im Wohnzimmer im Sessel zu sitzen und aufs Meer und die Berge zu schauen. Manchmal hat man einen Regenbogen direkt über dem Meer. Und die Landschaft in Connnemara ist auch traumhaft. Mit all den bunten Blumen überall. Wer Natur, Ruhe und Einsamkeit sucht ist hier genau richtig. Man kann viele schöne Ausflüge machen, braucht dazu aber ein Auto. Das Haus ist sehr schön eingerichtet und es ist alles vorhanden was man braucht. Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen.

Perfect revisit
I love this warm, airy house. The great views and space mean that even days with rain are attractive. Despite changeable weather we got outbto swim and walk every day. Divine part of the world for people who like the wild.

Great pleace in CONNEMARA
Sehr schönes, geräumiges Cottage mit weit überdurchschnittlicher Ausstattung und Komfort. Vermieterin ist freundlich und sehr hilfsbereit. Einziges Manko- kein WIFI. Dafür umso schöner direkt am Meer gelegen mit herrlicher Aussicht aus dem Wohnzimmer. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Tolles Haus bei Letterard/Galway
Wir haben sehr schöne Ferientage erlebt. Das Haus steht direkt am Wasser, ist geräumig und sehr sauber. Es ist alles vorhanden, was man für einen entspannten Urlaub braucht. Zum nächsten Ort mit Apotheke und kleiner Einkafsmöglichkeit Eileen ist eine hilfsbereite und tolle Vermieterin. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Great vacation in a perfect house
We visited this house in May 2023 and had a great time. The house is very spacious and has everything you need. The views are just fantastic and if you are looking for a peaceful and calm retreat, this one is for you. We were a bit struggling with the "No Wifi", but actually it helped us relax even more. Just something you just keep in mind when booking this house. We would recommend this house to everyone looking for relaxing time in the great Connemara region.

Wonderful house in a wonderful place
Dear Eileen, again we spend a wonderful time in your perfect house. Everything is there whatever one need. The view is fantastic. My mother has her lovely place, always she sat in the bay window. The kitchen is perfectly fitted. The house is extraordinary, a special one! Thanks for everything !

Perfekte Lage, super Aussicht, sehr hilfsbereite und zugewandte Gastgeberin... Nähe zum Meer, ökologisch korrektes Ambiente und vieles mehr. Das Einzige, was man hört, ist das Meeresplaetschern.

Majestic
Eileen’s Teach Greine property met/exceeded expectations. Was truly eco-friendly and had grand windows and sky lights with majestic ocean and mountain views in Connemara. Eileen herself made the check in easy (despite arriving ~2-3hrs early), and was amazing in maintaining communication in the weeks preceding the visit. Highly recommend Teach Greine!

Beautiful spot in Ireland
We really enjoyed our stay at this house . The scenery from each window was beautiful. My kids loved exploring the outdoors. The area seemed 100% safe and friendly. We appreciated all the condiments and cooking supplies in the fridge and cabinets. Eileen was very personable and helpful in her tour of the house and recommendations. Location is very remote, but it was nice to unwind in such a beautiful setting. We would definitely recommend Eileen’s eco house :)

If you want peace and tranquility, this is your stay! Still close enough to local shops and restaurants if you wish to venture out. The property was charming with the owners own beautiful original art in the house, which encapsulated the feeling you have when you are walking around the landscape, or looking out the window. It was lovely, with an incredible view at every turn. The hostess Eileen was very down to earth and offered up so much invaluable information on the area, where to go for hill walks, best beaches et... It would have taken us hours to try and figure out the best places to go. The house was lovely and warm, fabulous views of the sunrises and sunsets. The amenities were plentiful and we were not in need of anything during our stay. We hope to be back again soon!

A Week in the Connemara Wilds
The house is exactly as advertised and the photos tell the story. We appreciated the well-stocked kitchen and the splendid views. In fact, we placed ourselves in those big chairs by the bay windows and got lost in the view. We were looking for a private, remote place, near water, a place to read and write and cook. We were very comfortable. Eileen gave us clear directions and met us upon arrival, giving us a thorough description as to how everything worked. It was good to know that she was close by should we need her assistance. Since there was a problem with the boiler, she provided a plug in radiator; on a sunny week it would not have been necessary. Note: there is a shower on the main floor, and a bathtub upstairs; not for anyone who has mobility concerns as there are no grab bars, and it is narrow, though lovely for a deep soak. The surrounding area is beautiful, though walking on these narrow, winding roads takes extreme caution, but as Eileen pointed out, there are many walking trails within reasonable driving distance. We would happily return to Teach Greine, a well-appointed house with stunning views.

Great holiday
We arrived late in the evening and Eileen gave us a hearty welcome. In the fridge were the basics for the first day, thanks again, Eileen. :) We enjoyed our time in that beautiful house so much and Eileen was really the perfect host. Highly recommended! Love to return.

Ein wunderbares Haus
Ein wunderbares Haus für Familienferien! Es ist geräumig, großzügig und außergewöhnlich gut ausgestattet und hat genügend Rückzugsräume, wenn die einen ruhebedürftiger sind als die anderen. Es gibt Platz für viele (Wander-)Schuhe und andere Sachen, die Küche ist behaglich, und der Wohnbereich ist es ganz besonders, mit Kamin, Erker und großen Fenstern. Der beste Platz für ungestümes Wetter! Wir haben uns nach kurzer Zeit richtig zu Hause gefühlt, nicht zuletzt dank Eileen als sehr hilfsbereiter und offener Gastgeberin. Das einzige Problem ist die Abreise. Man will einfach nicht mehr weg...

Ruhe in traumhafter Lage
Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen und hatten eine wirklich schöne Zeit in Connemara. Eileen ist eine sehr herzliche Gastgeberin und hat uns bereits bei der Ankunft mit vielen tollen Tipps versorgt. Das Haus ist zwar nicht unbedingt modern, aber dies gleicht es mit Charme und Lage absolut wieder aus!!!! Es ist alles vorhanden was man braucht! Wir hatten eine wundervolle Zeit!!! Danke!

Perfektes Haus in guter Ausgangslage
Das sehr helle, freundliche Ferienhaus lag für uns ideal um Connemara zu erkunden. Das Haus ist mit allem ausgestattet was man braucht vor allem die Küche. Der Empfang von Eileen freundlich mit unheimlich vielen Infos. Gerne kommen wir mal wieder.

A wonderful stay in lovely Letterard
This is our third time staying at Teach Greine, we love it here. The house is very comfortable and well equipped. If you like the sea, nature and outdoor pursuits there is nowhere better. If the weather is a bit damp, this is the perfect place for peaceful indoor pursuits. Eileen is a brilliant host, nothing is too much trouble and she obviously loves Connemara and is happy to share her local knowledge to make a stay more enjoyable. We look forward to returning soon. Thank you I'm delighted when guests enjoy themselves. Teach Greine is overlooking Bertraghboy Bay with phenomenal views of the mountains and sea and amazing sunsets. The views can be enjoyed relaxing on comfortable chairs looking out the large windows of the sitting room.

Wir hatten eine ganz wunderbare Zeit in diesem Ferienhaus. Alles da, was man braucht. Und die Natur in der Umgebung ist atemberaubend. Eileen hat uns herzlich willkommen geheißen und mit wertvollen Tipps für Ausflüge versorgt. Sie ist sehr hilfsbereit und gleichzeitig diskret. Perfekte Location!!

Good for the soul
My third stay at Teach Greine was a delight. I love the slow pace of life, the isolation ( but with food 10 mins drive away if needs be), the phenomenal views and the light and warmth of the house. There were great little walks and lovely swimming, all within a few minutes drive. You get used to the bumpy bog roads very quickly and the rest of Connemara draws you out to explore. This is my "reset" venue. Thanks Eileen.

Great Host, Great House, just perfect
Returning the second time, Eileen has been a great host again, everything was very clean, fully equipped incl. Firelogs and wood for the fireplace, detergent for the washing machine, books for reading. View from the house is great, it was nicely warm...so everything was great again. Will for sure come back again.

Verliebt in Connemara & Eileens Haus
Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit in Eileens Haus, bei dem es uns wirklich an nichts fehlte. Vom phantastischen Ausblick, über die liebevolle Einrichtung, bis hin zur hervorragend ausgestattete Küche (Pfannen & Töpfe, Gewürze, Filtertüten etc.) - für uns war alles vorhanden, was wir uns gewünscht hatten. Wir werden die schönen Stunden vorm Kamin, den Ausblick auf die Bucht und die Ausflüge in die tolle Natur nicht vergessen.

Amazing 🤩🤩
Wir waren mehr als begeistert von dem Haus, der Aussicht aus jedem Raum auf die Landschaft, den Sonnenauf- und Untergang und von Eileen, der Gastgeberin. Das Haus ist liebevoll eingerichtet und hat alles was man braucht. Die Küche ist perfekt für gemeinsames Kochen und Essen. Vom Erker aus hat man einen herrlichen Blick auf den Sonnenuntergang. Die Umgebung ist sehr schön und zum Connemara Nationalpark ist es auch nicht so weit. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und wären gerne länger geblieben. Fabulous and highly recommended
We cannot praise this house and Eileen's hospitality enough. Where else can you stay right on the water with a spectacular view of the 12 Bens, with a piano to serenade each other? The house was exceedingly well-stocked, and Eileen provided a wealth of maps and local guides to help us discover the area. Great local walks as well as many other fabulous sites close by like Dog's Bay, Roundstone, and Killary Harbour. We also found some lovely and competitively-priced woollens at the nearby Glynsk House. We loved staying in a cosy warm eco-house with all the amenities and we highly recommend Teach Greine.

Thank you. I'm always delighted when holiday guests enjoy themselves. Guests travel long distances and its wonderful that the beauty of Connemara welcomes them. When the guests leave they are energised, the fresh air, the scenery, the mountains, the sea, and the sky., on a clear night you can see all the stars Teach Greine is beside the sea with the wonderful views.

Wie erwartet eine einsame Oase
Das Ferienhaus ist genau so, wie es im Inserat erscheint (Ausstattung, Lage, Ausblick, Anblick). Wunderbar wenn man eine wirklich sehr großzügig ausgestattete Unterkunft und dabei eine entlegene Region sucht. Die Küche ist der Hammer! Eileen ist eine wunderbare Gastgeberin. Sie hat uns um kurz vor Mitternacht an der entscheidenden Abzweigung empfangen (was extrem hilfreich war!) und war immer da, wenn wir Fragen oder Anliegen hatten, auch im Notfall. Eileen hat wunderbare Wandertipps parat, und Wanderkarten sind in Fülle vorhanden. Super!! Die Gegend ist ein Traum und sicher noch traumhafter, wenn man nicht im Februar verreist... :) Wir würden sehr gerne wiederkommen!
