Went to check in and no one was at the desk. after looking around to see if someone was around. I see the door propped open with a brick. I walk outside. Hear a voice saying Can I help you? Said trying to check in, do you work here? She says yes. Comes around with a Dunkin Ice Coffee in her hand! Upon checking out next morning. No good morning how was your stay from the day clerk. No thank you when leaving. I emailed the general manger.

1. The key to the room didn't work. 2. The TV didn't work and when called for service no one showed up to fix it. 3. Tried calling the front desk but the phone didn't work so I had to use my cell to call them. 4. There were no spoons to eat our yogurt. 5. The receptionist called while we had left the hotel and told us we left some items. We didn't think so we asked her to verify it with housekeeping but she never called us back.

Great location and service!
Unfortunately, my visit to Leonardtown was for a funeral rather than something fun. I booked this hotel as it was right in town and within walking distance to restaurants and the funeral home (w/i 3 blocks) Parking was easy. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was well appointed and the bed comfortable. While I didn't see it in the listing, I was pleasantly surprised to learn that they did offer breakfast as part of the room rate. The self-service buffet was simple but tasty (fresh waffles and coffee for the win!) I hope that my next occasion to visit Leonardtown is a happier one, and will stay at this property again.

I liked the convenience of walking to waterfront and local restaurants. It was more expensive to book direct than it was with EXPEDIA.

I can't say enough about the positive experience I had at The Inn. Perhaps the cleanest property I ever stayed in. Walkable to a coffee shop/bakery, ice cream shop, several gift and retail shops, bars, and restaurants. But the staff was certainly the highlight. Bonnie, the General Manager, helped me with a complex logistical issue and could not have been more accommodating. Every staff member I engaged with was personable and helpful. I had a great experience!

Breakfast was a joke - cereal, dry pastries, Keurig coffee and microwave stuff from Costco. About 7:00am my second morning of 2 there was no hot water for a shower. Called the desk and was told to leave it running because it takes a bit for the water to warm. Let it run 15 minutes (total waste of water) and it never got hot. As I was leaving to check out about 9:30 I washed my hands and finally hot water. And the chair is too low for the desk. My laptop was at my chin if I tried to use the desk.

Decorated beautifully! Very comfortable, staff was very pleasant and helpful, always smiling and saying good morning or hello. Convenient to many places, food, sightseeing. Loved it!

There was no shower curtain on the shower in the bathroom. Also the bed creaked when you laid down and moved around. 2nd time staying here. 1st time was nice.

Conveniently located in a cute, historic district. Shops and restaurants all convenient. The staff, particularly Kim were very friendly and helpful. The room was clean, comfortable and quiet. I will definitely stay again.

Comfortable stay and great staff!
We checked in Saturday afternoon early and they accomodated us without any hesitation. When we returned around 11pm we discovered that our heat wasn't working. I spoke with David who graciously and thoroughly checked the unit. It was decided that the unit was broken and we went down to the lobby to be assigned another room. While David was assigning us another room, Colette (sp?) searched offices and closets (some twice) for a space heater. They were great! I called today (Monday) because I realized that I left an outfit there. I spoke with Jacqueline (sp?) who knew immediately what I was referring to. She took all of my neccessary info, informed me that the card on file will be used for S&H and committed to having it shipped back to me. The customer service provided here could not have been better. There's a quote at the desk that says something like "Arrive as guests and leave as friends". David, Colette and Jacqueline truly made an effort throughout all of my weekend events at The Inn to part as friends.

Nice, quaint little town. The Inn was clean, newly furbished and the staff were very friendly. If you're visiting, this is the place to stay.

The hotel was spacious, clean, and well appointed. The staff was pleasant, and the breakfast options were plentiful. Parking was great, however the local maintenance crew took up quite a few of the spaces, so you had to navigate the work trucks. The hotel was close to other building, so you had to use the screens for privacy.

While I question the "boutique" description, the hotel is in a convient location and somewhat new. No thrills, but it got the job done. The staff were approachable and friendly.
