Low price but still disappointing
Firstly, I should say that I did only pay £55 for the night, so I can't expect too much. I just needed a place to crash for the night as I in Leicester to catch up with some friends at the nearby Everards Beer Hall. I opted for this hotel over one of the budget chains as I thought it would have a bit more character. Unfortunately the common areas had a strange musty smell and looked very tired and dirty. The room itself was ok. The bed was on the soft side but I slept fine after a long day and a night of drinking. Disappointingly there was no hot water in the morning so I left without being able to shower (there had been warm water for a shower the evening before). The toilet seat was also loose.

The room was very nice plenty of room,room was very cold and took about 3 hrs to warm up.the TV was broken was a bit gutted but they didn't know about it till I told them other than that it was a good stay,staff was friendly and very professional many thanks.

Budget and i personally will avoid
This is a budget hotel for those who don't really care around comfort and luxury. I accepted this but even so the bathrooms have mould in it, very thin walls and very noisy neighbours are a misery. Managed ro sleep as i was shattered from a very long drive but given the price range offered, i think it really needs a hell of a lot of work and a proper thorough clean.

Cheap fixtures dated but acceptable for the price slightly mouldy shower which is not ok. No warning of security deposits and cannot order breakfast as need to give advanced notice. No one on site in the morning to deal with issues/ security. Would be ok if advised before booking

good location
very good location for M1 and Leicester. Hotel rooms are a little basic but was clean and the bed was comfy. The Indian restaurant attached to the hotel was brilliant.

Exceptional value for money. If you want glitzier, pay more. If you want friendly staff, perfectly good accommodation and a delicious breakfast, you're in the right place..... Sam very friendly on Reception.

OK for 1 night singe occupancy
Booked to stay there for 1 night whilst attending dinner party at a friend's house. My wife was unable to come with me due to illness - she probably would have been more critical than me. The room was quite small and the bathroom particularly so. The basics were OK but some little things added up - e.g towel with a hole in it; couldn't turn bathroom radiator off so it was boiling in there.

Comfortable weekend stay
I initially booked a single room but got upgraded to a double en-suite at no extra cost. The room I got was spacious and clean. The room was also located in a quiet part of the hotel. All in all, I had a comfortable weekend stay.

Stay was OK. Make sure that you arrange your breakfast time the night before. Not sure that the room was cleaned daily as the bin was not emptied during my stay.

The rooms are quite acceptable though reception services need to improve (there is no reception lobby!). Staff was quite friendly however, we had to leave early in the morning on Sunday (i.e. 7:00 a.m.) and no breakfast was provided (even though it was included in the price!) and no alternative solution was offered! The hotel is quite isolated and far from services, pubs, restaurants, etc.

Decent hotel for what we needed. The staff were very helpful and allowed us to check in early at 12pm rather than 3pm for no extra cost. Fairly clean, and bed was comfortable. Could possible do with a larger TV in the rooms and a fan during this weather. The bathroom shower head was a tad flimsy but the shower itself was nice and hot.

Nice friendly hotel
We needed a hotel that was near to the place we wanted to be for our visit. We didn't need local restaurants etc so cannot comment where they were or what they were like. The hotel was a small neat and tidy friendly hotel and we would use it again . We only encountered the hotel Manager as we were there for only one night he was helpful and freindly and made us feel welcome

would not recommend
It took staff over 10 minutes to answer the door and this was only after i had called them I paid £55:00 a colleague paid £45:00 and i think that we both were over charge as I think the correct price should have been about £35:00, I would not recommend the hotel at the price I paid. #Rooms were clean TV did not work and fire alarm went off 07:15 and it took someone 15 minutes to arrive to look at it, the alarm was still ringing when I left at 07:45

Brilliant
Inexpensive bc it's bare bones, just a bed, a telly, a shower and a loo. Everything and all you need for an overnight. Very kind and helpful staff. An Indian restaurant downstairs. Free parking & strong wifi right the way to the back. Wonderful big window that opens for a breeze. Blackout curtains if you'd rather. Couldn't recommend it more! ***** Cheers

The bathroom was dirty, staining on the walls around the basin, the toilet was deeply discoloured, shower cubicle needs a thorough clean There was no hot water in the room when we arrived but this was fixed promptly

Needs a lot of work on decor and the basics.
needs updating and the restaurant next door exudes a currey smell through the hotel . First impressions are poor . One thing that needs sorting is the trash at the rear ofthe hotel was a disgrace.
