« Close to Derby hospital. Was attending meeting there . Comfortable quiet place to rest and plenty parking »

« The room was very nice, spacious, well decorated and there were nice touches such as the robes, the radio being on when you arrive and the little sleep kit with the eye mask and earplugs. The staff were super friendly and the food at the restaurant was delicious »

« Hotel simple, le personnel est agréable, le pub de l’hôtel plutôt sympa et permet de manger pour pas trop cher. Il y a aussi plein de restaurants à coté. Le parking est un élément plus non négligeable dans le coin. »

« The room was clean, well furnished and had a cozy feel. We would stay here again, however, there were some minor issues. The toilet flush ran continuously and was audible at night. The cover over the shower plughole was broken and the lead on the kettle was too short and had to be used on the floor. Also the mattress was too firm for us. »

« We chose the hotel fairly randomly as we had a voucher to use. It is family owned and it is clear that the family and the staff put in a huge amount of effort to make everyone's stay as good as it can possibly be. It is really refreshing to see a hospitality business being run so well and making you feel so welcome after all the problems the industry has faced! »

« Nous avons eu la chambre N°1 qui est vraiment agréable avec un grand lit confortable. Idéal pour se reposer après une journée de marche. Le soir nous avons diné à l’hôtel en ayant réservé une table. Nous avons attendu 30 minutes avant que quelqu'un prenne notre commande. Et j'ai été déçu par la nourriture, sans doute que je m'attendais à quelque chose d'une plus grand qualité dans ce genre de cadre. En conclusion c'est un lieu vraiment chouette et typique pour séjourné, mais ma mauvaise...

« Un séjour d'une nuit pour le réveillon du jour de l'An, dans les chambres situées au dessus d'un des quelques pubs du village aurait pu être bruyant, mais non, elles sont bien situées dans une arrière cour. »

« Very nice small inn with rooms at the back. Comfortable bed and en-suite facilities. Nice bar, good beers, and good breakfast. Helpfull and agreeable staff. Only two negative points, the church tower bells from early in the morning, as already noted, but I was aware of this before booking, and I am a light sleeper, and the noise if the the adjacent room flushes the toilet in the night, but again this is common in many places. Good value for the price of the rooms. »

« The property is lovely, plenty of room for me, my mother and my dog. Pauline goes above with lovely extras incluidng eggs, milk ankd cake. Home made biscuits, plenty of towels and bowls for the dog. Quiet location with 2 large fields for dogs to run free and secure. Just a short drive to leek. I will definitely stay again. »
