Bel établissement
Il s'agit d'un bel établissement qui plus est neuf ou quasiment. En plus il est très bien situé dans un quartier totalement reconstruit et aux gouts du jour. Il est notamment situé à coté du musée national des armes (très bel endroit également). Et en 15-20 mn à pied, on est au centre-ville. Le moins c'est que nous étions 3 adultes et que le 3e a dormit sur un canapé dépliable mais de confort acceptable malgré tout

Très bon hôtel.
Rien à redire sur le service, la propreté, la taille de la chambre. Chambre très calme. Petit déjeuner correct. Pas tout près du centre et pas grand chose juste à côté, mais je recommande sans réserve cet hôtel.

We taxied in, then couldn’t dial out to schedule a ride back to the train station. The front desk said local taxis wouldn’t book because we had an “American” phone & no cash. The front desk was too busy at bartending to do more than say “sorry love.” I was too busy panicking to ask if there was an exchange nearby, or to think about Uber. Uber did finally occur to us & we scheduled, My issue with the front desk was the complete nonchalance at a guest being stranded.

I do apologise for this incident during your stay, this is definitely not something we pride ourselves on.Unfortunately, the external taxi company we use does exclusively accept UK numbers, however, we shall look into finding an alternative company that may accept a wider range of numbers. Booking info not clear
There was an issue when I arrived, it was very late and I'd been allocated a disabled room. Apparently my booking was for any standard room available, not a standard room as per the notes on my booking. The reception explained that I needed to ring them in advance to avoid this issue in future. They kindly agreed I could move room but if the remaining guest turned up he would be getting that room. Hotels.com need to be clearer in their Ts & Cs I suggest.

Great location, beautiful surrounding atmosphere, great staff. Most friendly and helpful receptionist and staff ever, lovely and great first impression of hotel. Everything about the hotel was exceptional. It was clean, stylish, roomy with excellent service. Breakfast was good and great value for money and service was attentive and efficient. Room itself was well equipped and comfortable. I was very pleased with my stay. I hope to be back for a longer visit in the future.

The hotel staff were really friendly and helpful which was lovely. The rooms were great and the free breakfast was plentiful. We did have to pay a bit for parking, it wasn’t expensive but it did say free parking on the hotel website but that’s the only gripe. We would definitely stay there again. The Royal Armouries was amazing and so close.

Without the use of a car it is a little expensive to get around by cab or Uber. It is a little out of the way from the main city centre. But the hotel staff were professional and engaging.

You can't go wrong with this hotel
We regularly stay at Holiday Inn Express Leeds when visiting family, and it is always pleasant. The hotel is in a great location and the price is incredibly reasonable for such a central hotel. Breakfast is included and has a decent enough selection. The room was clean, although some of the towels were slightly stained and the carpet wasn't as clean as it could have been. The family room was an alright size for a family of four - it was great having a sofa bed so we could create more room when we needed to. All in all, you can't go wrong with this hotel for a family stay.

High flying birds overnight

The hotel is excellent and staff are helpful and friendly. But breakfast was a nightmare , waiting for bacon not enough to go round when that came then waiting for sausage not enough done to go round . But the breakfast it’s self after a wait was good . We have stayed there on many occasions and this is the only time there has been an issue with the breakfast . So hopefully it was just a hiccup. Because they deserve all smiley faces 😊

Hotel is out the way of city centre, so we didn’t need to deal with the stress of driving through the city centre during rush hour, but only takes 15 minutes to walk into the centre. Easy parking, relatively cheap for 24 hours and very clean and comfy room. Shower took a while to heat up but overall, we were 2 happy visitors

Absolutely lovely staff and lovely stay, we had a view of the canal from our room. The only con is that Hotels.com says standard room is a double however for holiday Inn the standard room is twin singles, but right next to each other. So we didn't mind but it was a tiny momentary confusion. Otherwise 100% would stay again.
