« Aucun accueil, tout de fait en libre service, car je n'ai vu personne durant tout le sejour dans un hôtel au demeurant tres agréable. A ne pas conseiller aux personnes ayant peur de la solitude et souhaitant être accueilli par du personnel, car il n'y a absolument personne dans l'hôtel. Comme pour le petit déjeuner prévu, mais inexistant. Experience tres bizarre. Pourtant les chambres ont tout le confort. »

« The hotel is situated in a nice rural location easily accessible from the M5 and close to the main towns of Worcestershire. I would characterise it as a gastro-pub with rooms rather than a hotel. There was some disappointment that my allocated room was completely different to the room photo on Expedia which had French windows. My room was an attic with skylights. It had unusual dimensions. « Hôtel plein de charme, pas de doute on est bien en Angleterre. Seul gros bémol, l’isolation de la fenêtre de ma chambre qui donnait sur la rue. Impossible de dormir après 4h du matin avec le passage des voitures. »

« The best thing about this hotel is the location which is fantastic, and the staff were very nice. We stayed in the Oak Suite which is apparently the best room; it benefits from a private terrace with a pair of easy chairs to watch the river and it's occupancy go by, which is lovely. For me it definitely wasn't a four star, but a fair three star hotel. There was a temporary kitchen which also hampered them as well as the view. The room was clean and airy with a (strangely grubby!)Juliet balcony...
