« Merveilleuse »

« The hotel and the rooms were ok but we came from a 2 weeks cruise with 50 pounds suitcases, our rooms were on the third floor, and there was no elevator! Also, there are no land lines nowhere in the hotel, and our cell phones did not have a US plan for only 36 hours in town. It was kind of complicated trying to get a cab for 5h00 AM! That should clearly be mentioned on the web site so you can prepare yoursef adequately. »

« Parking gratuit.

« The hotel has great history, but is not as maintained as it should be. The room was quite dirty - carpet stains, furniture needs a good scrub, dusty light fixtures and mold on the windows. Also, the hotel has a damp/moldy smell. Bartenders were great and helpful, so was the bellhop and gentleman at the front door + elevator girl who was lively and welcoming! Give the hotel a good scrub and it'll be top notch again. Nice location and lots of restaurants around. »

« It is a very clean, basic motel with a wonderful staff. I’m not sure how it qualified as a VIP property though. »

« Very comfortable bed and very quiet. »

« We absolutely enjoyed our stay and have already talked about another trip to New Orleans and staying here again! If you want a cheap hotel look somewhere else because when you pay cheap you get cheap!! Location: Much quieter area away from the hustle and bustle but still very much walking distance to French quarter or to take RTA/ street car. Nearest coffee shop that is extremely good is called Allgood. If you don’t want to pay for an uber from the airport you can catch the bus from the...

« We did enjoy our stay. The washer and dryer was a plus. Beds were soft. Living area clean. Coffee pot avaiable, so bring your own coffee. We would stay here again. A little pricey in general, but with that being said, I believe we got more for our our money compared to other hotels in the same area that were even more expensive than Ironworks. Public parking was 30 dollars a day, instead of 45 dollars a day at the other hotels. Ironworks coffeehouse coffee was delicious. The location from the...

« Not a place I would recommend unless you are an influencer. »
