Too expansive for what it’s worth
We enjoyed: the quality of the service. The food quality We didn’t enjoy: 1)the fact that at our arrival the lady at the front desk told us that our room was dark and that for 20 frs she could upgrade us -> why say that in a 4 star hôtel and why don’t upgrade us for free as hôtels.com Gold members in an empty hotel ? 2) the spa: jacuzzi was extra small (not like in the picture), sauna was not ready to use 3) the room: unconfortable beds, terrible pillows. In conclusion, we thought it was more like a 3 star hôtel with a 4 star service and restaurant. The price was too much fort that. They should either adapt the hôtel price or improve the spa and rooms.

Unser Hotel ist ein gemütliches, kleines Boutique Hotel mit 21 Zimmern und einem Spabereich, dieser eine Sauna, Kneippbecken und einen Jacuzzi auf der Terrasse anbietet. Die Grösse des Spas ist auf die Anzahl der Gäste gerecht angepasst. Wir sind kein Wellnesshotel und haben dies auf keinem Foto oder Beschreibung so angeboten. Des Weiteren bieten wir in unserem Gourmetrestaurant viele Gerichte an, mit lokalen und regionalen Produkten von naheliegenden Bauern und Produzenten. Schweizer Qualität hat seinen Preis und wir unterstützen weiterhin regionale Anbieter und setzten hohe Ansprüche, was unser Speisenangebot angeht. Für die Gäste, die preiswerter bei uns essen möchten, bieten wir eine vielfältige Pizza und Pastakarte an, mit ebenfalls frischen Zutaten auf typisch italienische Zubereitungsweise und alle Gerichte sind hausgemacht. Wir bedauern, dass Ihnen unsere Karte nicht zugesagt hat. Wir renovieren jede Nebensaison die Zimmer und andere Räumlichkeiten und auch das Inventar wird regelmässig ersetzt. Wir würden Sie bitten uns direkt im Hotel vor Ort zu kontaktieren, somit hätten wir Ihnen andere Kissen angeboten, Ihren Wünschen entgegen kommen können und Ihren kurzen Aufenthalt damit verbessert. Sie hatten ein Budgetzimmer gebucht und mit einem zweifachen Upgrade in ein Superiorzimmer wollten wir Ihren Aufenthalt versüssen, sie hatten sofort abgelehnt , da Sie nur über Nacht bleiben würden und kein Interesse hätten. Unser Hotel war bis auf ein Zimmer komplett ausgebucht und wir finden CHF 20., für eine kleine Aufwandentschädigung für ein grosses Superior Doppelzimmer nicht unverschämt. Wir behandeln alle unsere Gäste gleich, auch wenn Sie Gold Member bei Expedia sind, finden wir es ungerecht, wenn unsere Stammgäste für die schönen Superiorzimmer mit Panoramablick voll zahlen müssen und andere nicht. Nous avons fêté l'anniversaire de mon amie et un gâteau d'anniversaire a été organisé pour cet événement. Le personnel est au petit soin pour leur clientèle et on se sent vraiment à l'aise.

Excellent séjour
Nous avons passé un excellent séjour au sein de cet établissement, la chambre était spacieuse, très confortable avec une vue somptueuse sur les montagnes. De plus nous avons pu profiter d'un concert de piano. Le réceptionniste de l'hôtel était très serviable et agréable. Je recommande cet établissement.

Maya Caprice Boutique Hotel & Spa is wonderful! My wife and I had a couple night stay at this hotel and it was truly an amazing property! We booked a Superior Double Room, 1 King Bed, Balcony, Mountainside and the view from the room was unreal! Probably one of my favorite views in Switzerland while we were there. One of the best benefits of Maya Caprice is its proximity to the Wengen train station. It’s one of the first hotels you see once you get off the train. It’s also walking distance to the main street of Wengen and all the hiking trails there. Upon Check-In, Daniel greeted us and held our luggage until our room was ready. He was so helpful and informative on the hotel as well as the area. Extremely wonderful staff who we also met during breakfasts and dinner. The room was clean and very spacious. The view was obviously the highlight of the room which was incredible! The food was amazing for the breakfasts and dinners we had. Highly recommend at least one dinner at the hotel. The spa was another highlight of the hotel having a dry sauna, foot spa, and jacuzzi that were all available during our stay. The view of the mountainside from the jacuzzi is stunning! I can’t wait to go back to Maya Caprice and highly recommend you book them as well!

Disappointing and Awkward
They focus too much on the restaurant and not enough on the hotel itself or the guests. The staff awkwardly pressure you to make a reservation for dinner every night. Meanwhile the bar which is supposed to be open until 10 pm always closes early and in fact never seems to be open. The hot tub was broken during our stay. We asked about a massage but were told the masseuse is on maternity leave until December. The cleaning staff never replenished the minibar or the waters that we drank in the room. Overall, it is just another ok hotel that is overpriced for the quality and service. The best thing they have going is their view of the valley and mountains from the guest rooms.

The view from our room was incredible. Waking up every morning and seeing the sun rising over the mountains was the best. The breakfast was also very good. Lots of options and they'll even make eggs for you if you like. The coffee was really good too.

My Favorite Hotel Ever
An absolutely beautiful hotel with great, friendly service. Unmatched views in Wengen with their restaurant and if you have a mountain-view room. I only had one entree at the restaurant but it was delicious. Our hotel room was very clean. Staff is very helpful, kind, and professional. I was so sad to leave. If I ever find myself in the area again, I will definitely be staying here again. I did not have a chance to see the spa.

We were fortunate to have a room on the top floor of this hotel, and the balcony view overlooking the mountains was breathtaking. The room and bathroom were spacious and comfortable, and we appreciated that robes and slippers were provided. Sound does travel easily as we could hear people in the neighboring room, but it was otherwise very peaceful. We were pleasantly surprised to find out that breakfast was included. The selection was small, but they did offer a cook to order option as well (omelettes, eggs, bacon).

Prefect!! Staff was very nice, we arrived at night and we welcomed right away, got a nice hand written letter to welcome us! Breakfast was very nice, great view, help with idea of what to do thanks to Dmitry. And very very close to the train..!!

Exceptional We had an amazing experience. Check in lady was very pleasant and friendly. In fact, everyone was very friendly and professional. We stayed 4 nights and now we wish we had stayed more. It was exceptional. We had a superior double room with balcony and the view from balcony was straight out of picture. Room was very spacious and clean. There's a hot tub and sauna in basement level which is a major bonus. The breakfast was exceptional and the view from breakfast terrace was breathtaking. The only thing I want to add which is not a big deal is that there was no creamer with coffee maker in the room so we had to go down every morning to get it.

Restaurant tries to be elegant too hard. Need better individual choices. For example, how about individual spagetti choices instead of a seven curse meal. Nobody does a seven course meal any longer.
