Good morning, GabrielaLet me begin by thanking you for answering the survey truthfully. I would like to sincerely apologize for the experience you had at our hotel. There is no reason for you to have gone through what you did. The hotel works very hard to ensure that our guest have a clean/safe environment. While sometimes there are issues that are beyond our control, so many can be avoided. It seems you encountered both. The bug issue is something we and every hotel for that matter do our best to control. Besides our monthly extermination we do quarterly deep cleanings including pulling the refrigerators, dishwashers, and cleaning all of the cabinets; but as you well know, it only takes one to go through the cracks. Sometimes guests, without their knowledge will bring them into the hotel. What could have been avoided was the issue regarding the sofa. This should not have happened and is part of a housekeepers daily cleaning. The front desk should have taken care of this matter immediately and for this I am truly sorry. I know David did his best but he's a driver and does not really know how to handle guest complaints. He should have immediately passed on his report to the front desk. I truly apologize. I do want you to know that we do work hard to ensure that every guest is satisfied and truly happy with their stay and with the staff. I will not make excuses for the experience that you had, just simply know that I am truly sorry and appreciate your honesty.I would like to truly make it up to you. If you are ever in Laredo again, please contact me. I will be more than happy to offer you one complimentary night.
