« Charming and comfortable apartment located in a cottage in the exclusive grounds of a breath-takingly beautiful old country house just a few minutes by car from Newlyn/Mousehole/Penzance. « La vue de notre chambre était magnifique mais le lit minuscule et très haut . J’ai fini ma nuit par terre. Du coup nous avons demandé une autre chambre et le personnel a été très gentil, malgré qu’elle nous soutienne que c’était un lit king size (un 140) . La seconde chambre avait un 160 très confortable. Le restaurant, au dîner comme au petit déjeuner, est à éviter, même si le personnel est très prévenant. »

Disappointed that the excellent food at dinner could not be tried at breakfast - arrangements were offered to eat next door but we were so full from the night before we didn’t bother. « The location was superb, room fantastic view however the hotel inside needs some tlc. The carpet inside the lift was worn, the dining room ceiling was patched up; in my room the tiles surrounding the bath needed re grouting, the wallpaper in the bathroom was peeling away in the corners and the furniture in my bedroom was shabby and required revarnishing and the paintwork in my room needed touching up and the window frames needed cleaning.
