There was no gas problem. We tried to come in to assess any propblem. They said they were ok for the night. The guest then shut off gas to 5 rooms with out telling us until the next day. We even tried to change the room. We continued on to refund 1 of the nights stay. This guest was unreasonable. I'm sorry, this review has no merit in our opinion.

We love coming here!! This time around we encountered 7 Golden Eagles and 2 Bald Eagles!! Also 2 egrets but the Eagles we're just magnificent!! The cabin we got this time was nice and cozy, great view of the lake where we watched the Eagles.. Can't wait to go back again.. next month!! 😁

I stayed in the Pine room for two days with my wife and three teenagers. The room was clean and spacious. I can describe it as a two bedroon, two bathroom, mobile home. The property was super clean and well maintained. I would definitely stay there again.

Rainbows end is located back behind houses off an alley way, looks rundown on the outside. The entire property is very compact. Only a few of the rooms are right off the water/lake, however cannot get to the lake cause there is a fence around it. The only part of the lake accessible from the property is off the boat docks.otherwise you have to either walk a distance or drive to get to the actual lake. The major problem is the rooms, they are connected with a conjoined door, therefore there is no privacy. You can hear everything going on in the next room. The parking here is not great ether, although it is on the property it is a significant ways away from rooms. The room we stayed in did not have any heat, The owner had stated he had turned off gas to all the rooms, however, the heat source in ours was as well broken. The refrigerator made grinding noises and was not in proper working order, it did not keep our items cold nor did the freezer, freeze the ice. The shower is very small even for a small stature person as myself of 4foot 9in and 135lns. There is a reason they don't show pictures of the rooms, because they are a studio apartments. Although there is a 10o'clocvk curfew on noise, the teenagers next to us were loud way past that time. We had decided very early into our stay that we would not be staying the additional night, the next morning we spoke with owner who eventually agreed to allow us to not be charge for the second night as we had already packed up.

This is an unfair review. The gentleman that I spoke with was very nice. Yes the fireplace was turned off and all are, at a certain time of yr. The refrigerator works fine and no abnormal sounds.. These guests made very loud sex admitting so and caused a problem with younger guests next to them.. The same happened with the other guests with their loud talk very late in the night. If either one had called me, I would have gone in a direction to quiet them both down. Nothing was said until the next morning. Everyone loves our place and look forward to returning. I don't like responding to these but with the unfair review, I felt it necessary. Chuck.

Nice, basic cabin on the lake. Very convenient. Throw rug in main room had a corner turned up which we tripped on several times before rolling it up out of the way.

White Mountain Retreat
I spent 3 beautiful days & NIGHTS at Rainbow Lake Resort. Chuck was an excellent host & took care of all my needs as if we were brothers. When I arrived at 3pm He dropped everything and invited me in with open arms and even helped me unhook my boat & park it under a tree where it would be safe & out the way for other guests to park. I will definetly stay there again & recommend it to everyone I know. Great for families with children of all ages.

Chuck and staff were helpful with everything we needed. We got the boat we wanted, they had worms, fishing poles, firewood everything we needed. We rented two cabins and both were spotless and smelled good. There's grills and firepits for every cabin. Check in and out was the easiest we have ever had. We are already planning our next trip. We've stayed in alot of hotels over the years, this is the first i have ever cared to share about.

We absolutely loved our stay here very cozy comfy..our cabin was soo cute!!! Would always rather stay in a property like this as opposed to a hotel..property was very kept and all staff very friendly and helpful..Chuck the owner was an awesome host..cant wait to go back!!!! Great find!!!!

What we loved about the property the room we had a view of the lake . Small resort so not lotta people which was good. What I didn’t like the signs to point you in the direction of the resort did not have lights. We arrived in the evening and it took us a while to find a place! Will use GPS and it didn’t Send us to the right place.!

Hello - The city hasn't allowed businesses to put up signs on their easements on Hwy 260. It can be a bit difficult to find the resort for this reason. Chuck

We had a great time! Linens and furnishings could be cleaner/updated, but the cabin was perfect for a getaway out of the Phoenix heat. The staff (owner Chuck) was great! Very communicative and made sure we were happy with everything. We rented a pontoon boat on the property and spent the day on the lake fishing. Boats in great condition and easy to use even for a novice. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a rustic getaway

I liked that the lake was so close very convenient. However i didnt care to much for the owner/renter (chuck) I believe was his name. some times he was really pleasant and other times he is very snappy toward adults and children I feel its very unprofessional behavior.

When we first arrived, Carlos the manager greeted us. He gave us all of the information we needed. He told us he left the TV on and the heater on so we were all sure it worked. The room was nice and clean. We did cook dinner in our room and cookware and dishes were fine. If you want coffee you’ll need to provide that and sugar and creamer. Which we didn’t mind at all. The place was beautiful and so relaxing. Just what we needed!!! Thank you Carlos for being so hospitable. We will be back again for sure!!!

Great Getaway
It was a great getaway. Peaceful and quiet. The room was cute and cozy. Our only complaint was the 30mph winds that prevented us from going out on the paddle boat as planned.

My 3 year old calls it "The L ittle House" 🙂
We stayed in the Cedar room. It's about the size of a hotel room, only it has a little kitchen. Perfect for a 3-5 day get away!!! Again, it's small, but perfect for our little family. The area is really nice, the lake was beautiful and the staff was great! Check in was so easy, you get your key from the box and go. We will definitely be back!

VERY Rustic. Needs a bath mat as tile floor very cold. Also bath could use a shelf. Kitchen could use an update and can opener and cutting board. A larger TV screen would be nice. Nice fireplace stove and header. Our cabin had a nice lake view but not all cabins do. Management was friendly and cordial. Quiet property with lots of space.

Kitchenette rooms are of a cabin style. Full kitchens have more space. Sorry for no can opener there should have been one. We are upgrading the TVs. Most have already been replaced. Our rooms really bring on a cabin style feel, but are still designated as rooms. The fireplaces in most of the rooms do bring on the comfy/cozy feel. We have 6 rooms that are lakefront and do make them quite nice. We are located right on the lake and for those rooms that aren't, are just a very short walk away. Thanks for staying!! Chuck

Weekend getaway
Nice small cozy cabin. Owner Chuck was great and Carlos was very accommodating. Love picking apples from the properties trees.

Fall festival weekend
Everything was great, but I had to switch around bulbs because some were out. Wifi kept going in and out.

Being a single traveler, I was given a small dingy room. The sheets on the bed were stained and the blanket was dirty with other people's hair. I couldn't wait to leave in the morning.

The rooms are cozy and the location is very nice. Check in and check out were strange because no one was there the whole time of our stay.

Our Anniversary get away
It was exactly what we needed! We loved being by the lake and watching the wildlife. We had everything we needed in our cabin and the bed was SO comfortable! We will definitely stay here again! I think next time we will stay in a little bigger cabin though! The only suggestion I would make for this particular cabin is a couple extra hooks in the bathroom and maybe a little shelf that you could set things on to make it a little more "girl" friendly! :)
