Passage d'une nuit mais l'endroit merite plus Le personnel tres gentil et aidant. Le petit dejeuner n'est pas servi à l'hotel mais dans un autre hotel à 1kilometre

Large room with kitchen and separate living area from the bedroom that also had a desk to work at. Perfect for our needs. Wi-Fi was great did go down last night but sure that was a fluke. Will come again!

Great location on lake. Rooms had some wear & tear but seemed clean. I’ve stayed at the few other hotels in the area and this one will likely be my preferred choice in the future.

The place is terrific for getting in touch with nature! Being by the lake you see birds and bunnies! Quiet place to relax!

The hotel is clean and conveniently on Grassy Lake and the town of Lake Placid. The owner was friendly and accommodating. However, it is an old (over priced - room was $153 $40 for dog) hotel with limited, make shift, accommodations. We won't stay there again, and cannot recommend this hotel.

We are sad that you were not satisfied. And we were unaware of anything you found "make shift" that we may have been able to adjust for you. Our property is midrange in Lake Placid but offer kitchenettes and rooms that are lakefront unlike our competitors.

Overall a nice place to stay with family as it has convenience of a back patio and friendly and well communicating staff but would plan to bring stuff to clean before your stay especially the floors

Facilities are old but has everything you need and are clean. Bugs outside due to lake but not in the room.

Low budget motel with a nice view
The owner was pleasant and the view was nice but there was no sandy beach as pictured and cleanliness and comfort is certainly not a priority.

The property was nice because it was right on the water. Although the a/c in the room wasnlaclong. It didnt get cold for quite some time. The bedroom door was sticking and falling apart on the top corner

Old-fashioned Lakeside Living
Beautiful location backing onto Lake Grassy. This is an old building on the main highway. If you are looking for a modern, cookie-cutter accommodation, look elsewhere. If you prefer a small and rustic motel, this is great! Spacious and relaxing, we had the deluxe accommodation with full kitchen, living room and separate bedroom. Well worth the extra cost.

Newly remodeled with all the amenities. Great view of the lake. Friendly management. The beautiful tile floor made our bare feet black, so not as clean as it could be.

Will Do If in Need of a Place to Stay...
We had reserved the king suite. We were under the assumption it would be the room with the couch and full size refrigerator. Instead, we had a very small refrigerator and one extremely uncomfortable chair. The TV was very small. The floors were filthy. My feet were black after an hour. The bathroom, behind the door, was full of hair, dirt and a Mike' Hard Lemonade cap. It looked like the housekeeper was too lazy to use a vacuum, dust pan or mop and just shoved it all behind the door. Thankfully, we didn't spend an extreme amount of money on this place and didn't spend too much time there.

If you're looking for 5-star service and amenities, this is not the place for you. But if you want a nice, comfortable, quiet room, with a lovely lake view from your own private patio, then stay here. I will definitely return the next time I'm in the area.

The room on the lake was very relaxing and the lake quite pretty. The room is well taken care of and comfortable. We will stay there again the next time we are in that area.
