Family celebration
The home is beautiful and is very comfortable and spacious for our large family. We loved sitting on the back porch overlooking Lake Como for the gorgeous sunsets. The large kitchen table was perfect for having dinner all together and playing games in the evening. We look forward to coming back there one day.

Beautiful Home on Lake Como
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The home was more than spacious enough for the seven of us and certainly had the basic necessities to accommodate our stay. The beds were comfortable, and the couch was incredibly comfy! The view was spectacular! We got a kick out of the variety of games and movies provided even though we mostly played cards and pool. When we first arrived, we were a bit confused at first, as the website stated the home was brown, but it was repainted blue. After confirming with the host, we realized that we were at the correct property. The host was very professional and quick to respond. Detailed instructions were provided, that, had I read prior to entering the home, would have helped me avoid any confusion. (LOL) Overall, we had a fantastic stay and will definitely consider staying here again.

Great space for a group outing
This house was a great place for a getaway. Our group of 13 (7 adults, 6 kids ages 3-12) were very comfortable here. The house is spacious, and well-appointed. The location is great - right on the lake and just a short drive to downtown Lake Geneva. We hope to be back soon!

A great space for a special occasion
My friends and I were celebrating a milestone birthday, and this house was perfect for our party. It was spacious, clean, and had great common spaces for gathering our full group. We stayed during a snowy January. I can only imagine how beautiful it would be to stay during the summer.

Wonderful Family Christmas getaway!
Our group was planned for 10 (ended up being 8) and there was ample room for everyone with 2 bedrooms on the main floor and 4 more bedrooms upstairs. Perfect to accommodate a large group. The location was great with a couple of supper clubs nearby. We didn’t get to check those out as they were closed due to extreme weather, but we found something open with a short drive. Overall- tons of room, the pool table kept us busy and a great location on Lake Como with Lake Geneva, bars, restaurants and grocery stores nearby. We certainly hope that we can stay here again someday!

Christmas with Family
This was a great place for our entire family to come together and celebrate Christmas! The house had a tree and a few decorations set out..there are even hooks on the fireplace for our stockings. We utilized the extra table and chairs so all 13 of us could eat meals together as well as play games. The kitchen was perfect for fixing large meals (2 ovens!!). However, not all of the pots,pans or serving bowls were clean. We could have used an extra fridge for beverages..ended up keeping a cooler stocked all weekend. The kitchen also had a drink area away from food prep which we utilized for cocktails as well as coffee. I've never stayed at a rental that provided saran wrap, foil, coffee filters, coffee, spices, nightlights, handsoap at every sink, luggage racks in each bedroom, throw blankets for snuggling. We also were stumped by one of the puzzles but had fun trying. One of the negatives was how warm the house was..we turned the furnace down and had to forgo the fireplace as the upstairs bedrooms were too hot. Fans were available which helped a little. Overall the stay was great and the owner very responsive!!

Thanksgiving Stay
The house was perfect for our Thanksgiving visit. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook a large dinner, the owner was very responsive to our questions and the location was great. We hope to return next Thanksgiving!

Great memories for years
We had just a wonderful time for our small family get together. Great memories for years to come. The house was spacious for the 13 of us (9 adults and 4 kids). We enjoyed the outdoor activities with the kayaks, fishing, a cookout, and a campfire. The lake view was spectacular. The first and last nights just gorgeous sunsets. And another night got to watch a storm coming in. Kitchen was big and the dining tabke big enough for us all. The great room was perfect for a movie night and watching football. Parking was good. Checkin and access was good as well. 5 stars!!!

Very nice property
Very comfortable home in a good location. The living area is spacious, with comfortable seating for our large group. The 6 bedrooms are large and comfortable, and plenty of bathrooms. The host was very responsive to our questions.

Family Reunion
We had family from Vermont to California get together for a reunion. There was plenty of space to spread out and big kitchen to prepare the meals. The home has pretty views of the lake from inside and out on the lawn. We enjoyed kayaking and visiting the nearby establishments- French Country Inn and Mars.

Beautiful Property on a Beautiful Lake
The property looked exactly like it did in the pictures! It was open and fun and the perfect size for our group. The open kitchen was perfect for hanging out and cooking dinner. The pool table was a nice touch and the large backyard lent itself nicely to a game of cornhole. I loved how drawers were labeled in the kitchen, making it easy to find what I needed. Being right off Lake Como was a huge plus, and renting a boat last minute was painless. I would 100% recommend this property and stay there again!

Great for multi families
The property was perfect! We had 4 separate families and never felt on top of one another! The house was clean and had enough parking! They also had kayaks and paddle boards to use. We brought our own but was a nice option. They had a nice grill for us to use as well! Only down fall was only tv was in the living room. Would stay here again!

The one TV in the living room was actually done by design that way, the idea we were trying to get across was an old fashioned one of connecting. We really enjoyed our stay here. Plenty of room for group of 10. Home was very clean & had everything we needed. Kitchen was well stocked with had all pots, pans, etc, we needed to cook at the house. The house is very accommodating with beautiful views, very comfortable bedrooms, well appointed bathrooms, and spacious "public" living spaces. There were 11 of us and we loved working in the kitchen together and having the grill. Access to the lake was fantastic and beautiful. Despite the Canadian fire affecting air quality, several of us got out on the lake every day, kayaks were great to have right on site. And sitting on the big dock was wonderful. Close to Lake Geneva and all it offers. But, we spent all but one day at the house. We want to come back another year and do this again!

We have a golf group that makes an annual trip to Lake Geneva! We come together from many different cities nationwide to the Funkie Lil Shack on Lake Como and have a great time! The house is amazing! It's spacious with plenty of beds and bathrooms and the outdoor space is unreal! It has a double pier set up with free kayaks, paddle boards & fishing poles available as well as a grill. We love the open concept of this house and love being able to walk to Mars Bar and being an 8-minute drive to Geneva National! We can't wait to come back again next year!

This house is a great rental property. The kitchen is very functional and has lots of storage and has all the appliances and items you need. The house has something for everyone, all age groups, inside and outside. The neighborhood was quiet, but there are enough things to do in the area, or do nothing at all, and just relax!

A Fun Getaway
We're a large group of friends looking for somewhere to get together in Lake Geneva each year, and finding somewhere that can accommodate us is usually a struggle. This was our most successful outing yet! Even with ten people we never felt cramped.

This place is awesome! Instructions were sent ahead of time and we were able to get into the home at the time agreed. Dan responded to texts quickly. Please is very clean with a great layout for just hanging out. We were able to catch up, eat meals together, watch TV, etc.. Everything worked. We plan on coming back next year!

Girls weekend 2023
Overall the place was as stated. Beautiful views, calm atmosphere, plenty of room for us all. We had a few minor issues. The hand soap in the bathrooms were very watered down and not good to clean hands. One other thing toilet paper did not have more than one backup roll. Dan was very responsive and helpful. This property would be wonderful in the summer to enjoy the water aspect’s available. We did get to see two bald eagles land about 50 feet from the property. What an amazing sight. Would recommend to others.

I do try and supply enough consumables based on the length of stay and the number of guests. Sorry to hear that one bathroom ran out of toilet paper, the other three appeared to be still stocked.

Perfect weekend getaway!
I've stayed at many rentals over the years and this one is in a league of its own! Not only did we have plenty of beds/bathrooms for a large group of 12, but the homeowner also ensured we had plenty of towels, bedding, toilet paper, paper towels, etc., which makes a big difference when traveling with a big group. It was great to look at the lake right outside the window - since we visited in November, we had the unique experience of watching the lake freeze over in real time! Location was so convenient - we were able to walk to Mars for dinner/drinks; even in the winter cold, it was only ~6 min. walk! Plenty of parking, games, seating area, etc. Overall, a great place - would definitely visit again!

Great for family gatherings
Used this property for a fall family getaway to Lake Geneva. Plenty of room for everyone to have their own space. Great room and kitchen had everything you would want. Home is clean and has a beautiful view of the lake.

Cousin's getaway was a success!
We rented this large home for a cousin's getaway and this house provided all the amenities and space we desired. Especially liked to huge sectional and gas fireplace to sit around and reminisce and catch up with cousins. Good location to all things Lake Geneva.
