We transferred from a large resort property near San Diego. On our arrival, we knew that it was the right move. The Ayres property was relaxing, up to date and convenient for all of our needs. We are so glad that we made the move.

There was only one night stand for a queen size bed and the mattress was not comfortable. I was expecting something a little better. The staff were nice and the breakfast was above average. They charge you $3 for a bottle of water which I would think they would provide one a day complimentary as so many hotels do now.

The staff we so friendly and check in was a breeze. The room was very comfortable and the beds were great. The breakfast area was really nice with lots of choices. Excellent stay!

It was a lot of noise, I don’t know if it was construction on the floor above us but it sounded like if someone was running all over the place and also you can hear the sound of the water running through the pipes. It was kind of hard to rest.

I enjoyed my time there. Will stay again. The beds were cozy comfortable. Those who worked there were courteous & helpful. Jacquizzi I enjoyed with towels by the pool. Breakfast could be cooked on the grill. Many choices.

Beautiful property close to UC Irvine, The Spectrum for shopping and good eats, and Dana Point-beautiful beach town and more. Ayres is tucked away in a quiet wooded retirement area of Laguna Woods. Our double queen-bed room is spacious, compared to ones at other hotel chain. It also has a pleasant potpourri scent upon entry. Wood floor and furnishing felt homey as if we were staying at friend’s home. Overall, Ayres at Laguna Woods exceeded my expectations for the price per night. Look forward to trying the complementary breakfast in the morning. Will definitely return when we’re back in Irvine.

The room had a strange odor upon entering the room. We were on the third floor right in front of the maintenance room so it was loud at times. In the middle of the night we could hear yelling and a lot of people running. It woke my whole family up. The breakfast was mediocre at best. The pictures online showed pancakes which there were not. There was some event going on so it was packed with people. Overall I was underwhelmed by our stay. The beds were hard and the fridge did not keep my leftover dinner cold so I had to throw it out. I would go somewhere else next time. I had high hopes for this hotel chain but I did not feel that it lived up to the online reviews.

stayed 2 nights for my bday weekend with the hubby and lemme tell you when i say the overall experience was ✨impeccable✨. all the staff members were such professional and genuine people. the guests staying there were also sweethearts! peaceful sleeping with NO excessive noise or bs. this hotel is MOST DEF your money’s worth. definitely coming back here next time i come South Side.

While everything about this hotel was 5 star, the really amazing aspect was the great happy hour and breakfast provided. Pizza and beverages in the evening, breakfast buffet and custom made omelets and eggs in the morning! It doesn't get any better!!

This was our favorite hotel stay ever! The property felt more like a resort than a hotel. It has retained its elegance and doesn't have the sterile feel that many newer hotels have. The courtyard was welcoming, with its fireplace, spa, and pool (all accessible). The bed was comfortable. We heard no sounds from traffic, which is so rare in southern California! The location is close to Laguna Beach and many hiking trails. The breakfast was ample and fresh, and the two chefs who cooked eggs to order were kind and quick. Outstanding property!

The property was beautiful. Well kept very clean. Staff was wonderful. The only downside was, I don’t do elevator, so I have to take the stairs and go outside of the door to go up the stairs was fell a little unsafe at night time other than that everything was wonderful and breakfast Was delicious
