Cette magnifique maison en rondins de luxe est situĂ©e dans une crique vierge dans la rĂ©gion de Cove Pointe / Big Creek sur le lac Norris (point 6). Le lac est littĂ©ralement juste Ă  travers votre fenĂȘtre.

La maison dispose de deux ponts principaux qui surplombent le lac et les bois, ainsi que de 2 ponts plus petits sur le cÎté de la maison et à l'avant. Bons endroits pour sortir.

La maison elle-mĂȘme dispose d'une grande salle bien meublĂ©e, trĂšs accueillante et comprenant une belle et grande cheminĂ©e avec une tĂ©lĂ©vision grand Ă©cran rĂ©cemment installĂ©e au-dessus de la cheminĂ©e. Super endroit pour se dĂ©tendre et profiter de la famille. Les excellents coins repas Ă  l'intĂ©rieur et sur le pont principal offrent une vue magnifique sur les bois et l'eau. Vous constaterez que tout le monde semble graviter autour de ce pont principal et qu'il est si amusant de s'y installer aprĂšs une longue journĂ©e sur l'eau pour rire et raconter des histoires. La cuisine est entiĂšrement Ă©quipĂ©e et Ă  jour, y compris l'Ă©limination, le mixeur, le lave-vaisselle, etc. afin que vous puissiez vous concentrer sur les choses amusantes plutĂŽt que sur le nettoyage. La laveuse et la sĂ©cheuse dans la salle de bain principale offrent plus de commoditĂ©.

Toutes les chambres sont spacieuses et finies avec goût - oreillers et draps fournis. Et si vous vous endormez sur ce canapé confortable ... eh bien ... les gens pourraient bien vous laisser là!

De plus, juste en cas de pluie, nous avons des vidéos et des jeux, mais n'hésitez pas à apporter vos propres activités amusantes préférées. La cabine est équipée d'une connexion Wi-Fi, mais nous espérons que vous passerez le plus clair de votre temps sur l'eau sans en avoir vraiment besoin.

La promenade facile vers le quai et l'eau est un court chemin Ă  travers la belle canopĂ©e des arbres. Vous verrez peut-ĂȘtre des tortues sylvestres, des Ă©cureuils, des peckers des bois, des loutres ou Ă  peu prĂšs tout ce qui vous mĂšnera au lac. Le quai vous laisse beaucoup de place pour mettre votre bateau et n'hĂ©sitez pas Ă  apporter vos jet-skis et Ă  les mettre ensuite sur les 2 ports de jet. Sequoyah, Whitman Hollow et Star Dust Marinas se trouvent Ă  proximitĂ©. En saison, vous pourrez dĂ©guster de bons plats et des boissons dans les marinas.

Vous ne trouverez pas une maison aussi agréable dans une si belle crique sur le lac Norris à ce prix.
Croyez-moi, c'est la meilleure partie du lac! Et la belle cabine est parfaite !!

The cabin is great, it has a great location and can accommodate a lot of people. The only bad thing is the cleaning of the house, it was really dirty.

Great for family

Loved this cabin. It was perfect for our early Thanksgiving with our family. The kids had plenty of room to play and sleep. We spent most of our time outside enjoyed playing corn hole and hanging out by the fire. The property is very peaceful and beautiful to the lake. Would recommend this property to anyone looking to get away.

August stay

Overall, the cabin was beautiful and the view even more lovely. The internet and cable were intermittent but we brought our Roku and had absolutely no problems watching tv in the evening. The only problem we had was that TVA had continued dropping the lake level and one day after we had been out boating all day, we came back and noticed that the whole dock had been moved down in front of the next door neighbor. But we spoke with the owners (who were always responsive) and got permission from their neighbor to use their stairs. All in all - we had a wonderful time and enjoyed our stay. Thank you!

Norris Trip to Cove Point

We had a great time at this location. The house comes with all the amenities to facilitate a weeklong stay. The location on the lake provides a great cove to swim in (kids absolutely loved the slide) and we were able to visit almost all the marinas on the west side of the lake via boat. Would definitely recommend a stay here.

Excellent vacation spot!!

Loved the cabin like house, the porches, the private dock, the cove, the nature and the fire pit. All of it was wonderful!! Perfect rooms for the whole family!! Very relaxing and comfortable. Lots of steps to the water, but not a problem. Highly recommend this house for family vacations! Would also recommend renting a boat if you don't already have one, the lake is beautiful!

Eight was enough in this cozy log cabin

If you’re looking to be close with your friends and family, this will work for you. It’s a pretty log cabin, but it is not roomy. The bedrooms are good sized with king beds, but the single living room is small and the only dining table seats eight. There is no outdoor eating area with seats unless you want to hold plates on your lap. It was very dirty, not swept, dust built up on ceiling fans, and vents, dirty fridge, etc. The dock is peeling paint and broken Bring extra forks and lighting if you plan to sit outside as there is a lack of both. There are lots of bath towels and the a/c and hot water work well. Nice swimming area in front of the dock.

Peaceful retreat

If you are looking to get away from hustle and bustle of everyday life, this is a good place to do it. The beds were great. This is a large place and will sleep a small army. It is a nice cabin, right on beautiful Norris Lake which has some of the clearest, cleanest water you will see. Communication with the owner was very good. Everything worked. We went during the off season so the lake was dropped to winter pool levels. I think it would have been nicer at summer pool levels and taking a boat, but we just wanted some time together as a family. I recommend it.

Dirty & Tricky

Overall the house was pretty much as advertised. The cleaning crew did a BAD job prior to our arrival. My wife spent the first day cleaning. Prior to our arrival the Gangplank to the dock had been damaged and was unusable. I had let the homeowners know of this and was told that the dock guy would be there to repair it on Sunday or on Monday, when we departed, No one ever showed up. Not that we would have not used the dock, but the homeowner should have let us know prior to our arrival that there was an issue with the dock.

Family Getaway

We had a large group of family (consisting of 5 smaller families) together at the house, and it worked very well for us. Overall, there were pros and cons, but there was nothing that was a deal breaker for the week and we were able to enjoy our time there as a family. Pros: * Check in was super easy * Host was quick to respond to messages and to try and help where they could. * The beds were very comfortable * The photos represented the house fairly well, and we pretty much got what we were expecting. Cons: * As some other reviews say, the driveway is very steep, much steeper than it seems in the photos. * The house was still pretty dirty when we got there. Things like the floor, counters, some dishes, and bathroom rugs were are very dirty, and there was broken glass all over the table and floor. The hosts were helpful though and got someone to bring us over a mop as soon as they could. They offered to clean, but we didn't want someone else in our space. * The dock is in rough shape - there are multiple cracks on planks, there is exposed, sharp metal at the entrance to the boat slips, and the slide is very rickety and the water pump to it is not setup. * The wifi barely works most of the time - if you're expecting to get any work done, you need to go into town or to a marina to really access the internet.

Nice, But Could Have Been Nicer

Outside was in very poor condition, piles of brush spoiled view of cove, tree limbs in water by dock, mulch washed away from areas, area just not very clean ! House was clean, but we had ants from day one in several areas of the kitchen and dining area. There was four bags of trash left from prior visitors and we ran out of space for trash as communication was poor with the trash pickup person ! We still had a good time, but feel for the money the outside area could have been much cleaner !! Lastly, bottom patio was not used by anyone because of the shape it was in.

2023 Vacation

Very nice cabin. Norris Lake is very clean. The only thing i didnt agree with was the clean up rules when leaving. I can see straightening everything up but, wiping down bathroom and kitchen counters, and stove and refridgerator, plus sweeping all the floors, emptying all trash and starting a load of towels and sheets is what you pay a cleaning fee for.

Fun by the lake

Its a great location with plenty of room and a very nice part of the lake. We had camp fires, used the dock, rented a boat and went off-roading near by. Stock up before you go, your about 25 minutes from groceries. If your into water sports or fishing, the lake is amazingly clear and you can hop from marina to marina to refresh and eat.

Late Christmas vacation

Overall it was a nice trip. Very accommodating for the amount of people we had. Make sure you have everything you need while in town it took us about 25 mins to get to Walmart. The only negative thing would have to be the Wi-Fi kept cutting out around the same time every night. The last day there we didn’t have service at all until we loaded up the next morning to leave. We have small children so some service would of been great incase if an emergency. The cabin is out in the middle of nowhere so it’s to be expected I suppose.

It was ok. Room were set up well. It did not have kitchen towel, bath towels for 10 people, not enough oven dishes to prepare meals. They wanted you to do their clean-up for them. strip the beds. Isn't that what the cleaning fee is for I thought.

No boat Dock after Labor Day

The reason we picked this property was to be able to rent a boat and have a Dock to hang out on. First we found out after Labor day Marinas basically close for business so we moved the date up closer to Labor day. That cost us more money. (Should be refunded) What we found when we got there that they did not tell us was the lake was going to be drained and the Dock was 50-100 yards away from the property so we had no dock , no paddle board that was mentioned, or anything to hangout by the water. if we rented a boat no where to park it. Neighbors said lake was being drained a couple weeks before our visit. We found the grill was Not cleaned, lightbulbs out in some of the bdrms downstairs and stairway was so dimly lit, it was pretty dangerous walking down there, (Everyone was age 65-70 yrs of age) Batteries out in the remotes, (We replaced them with our own batteries from flashlights.) The reason I mention lightbulbs and batteries because there are notes all over of 50.00 charges to us if certain things were not followed. There was No mention of Hickory nuts falling out of trees!!! Broke a windshield on our guests new car and One landed on my chest while I was sitting by the fire!! So be aware! We tried to make the best of it, contacted the owners several times but phone service is quite sketchy out there. So, Do not park under trees if you go in Sept. forward thru fall. The cabin itself was nice and well decorated but the description of having a boat dock is quite misleading if you are going late summer. It was in the 90's while we were there. Would have loved a Boat there like we planned on all along.
