Everything was perfect!
I stayed at two hotels during my week in Kiev and this was my favourite. The atmosphere is calm and refined, near the river. Staff at the front desk and restaurant were efficient and friendly from check-in to check-out. They were very helpful in giving directions, arranging cars, making restaurant reservations and recommendations. The decor of the room is simple, modern and comfortable. The restaurant on the seventh floor is simply stunning and the breakfast (included) is impeccable. Breakfast is ordered off a menu; there are not a lot of choices but everything is delicious and with beautiful presentation. This is much more elegant than a buffet, in my opinion. Kyiv can be a complicated city to navigate if one does not speak Russian or Ukrainian, but the staff and setting at Riviera House make me want to return.
Beautiful afternoon light.
Excellent attention to detail: When I telephoned the front desk to ask for a wine opener and wine glass, they asked if I needed a glass for red or white wine. This is professionalism is noted and appreciated.
Interesting decor in the guest room.
Daily newspapers provided.

It’s nice hotel and have nice location. Totally renovated inside and have nice bar and restaurant. But if you come to the bar after 10 pm dnt wait will run service you. And one thing fascinated me. Food in restaurant was fantastic tasty, but when I ordered room service, tasty of food was different and not enjoyable.

This is a clean, comfortable hotel, and staff are very helpful. Two staff members in particular were extremely patient with me after my bank put a security hold on my card and I needed to spend two hours on the phone trying to resolve this: thank you!

This is an excellent property right next to the most popular tourist spots and the Danube river. The hotel itself is in excellent condition and the staff was exceptional. Air conditioner in the room was very good (unusual for europe.) Would definitely stay again!

One of Kiev’s best
The Riviera House is a very fine hotel. The rooms are comfortable and modern. Bathroom is perfect! The facilities are clean and well cared for. Toiletries are luxurious and towels plentiful. The staff is extremely attentive and friendly. One of the most memorable things about the hotel is the breakfast. There is a large buffet plus a menu for additional delights. You can enjoy to your heart’s (or stomach’s) content. The hall is lovely with waiters serving hand and foot. The area is perfect. Walking the neighborhood is exciting and you are steps from the metro. Love this hotel. I will stay again and do highly recommend.
