Wonderful stay despite COVID
Wow ! What a fantastic stay. Things got off to a great start when we got upgraded for free to an executive room. There was a slight issue at check-in with our rate that included breakfast or not but both the hotel and Hotels.com fixed the issue quickly.
The room was great : large, clean, comfy and cosy. We loved the fact that there was a Nespresso machine, so much better than instant coffee ! There was also a kettle so we could make tea and hot chocolate as well. The fridge was perfect to store our drinks and yogurts (yes, we always have yogurt while on vacation !). The Wi-Fi was fast. The TV selection was disappointing however. We are always very difficult when it comes to bedding but here the mattress was perfectly to our liking. Same thing with the pillows.
The bathroom was large and the shower was a delight. Thank you so much for having refillable bottles containing hand soap and body lotion next to the sink and shower gel and shampoo in the shower. So much waste goes in those tiny bottles. I would suggest having a recycling bin as well in the room.
The breakfast was not a buffet because of COVID. That did not change the fact that the selection was great and the coffee delicious. The service was very professional.
We had one minor issue with the room next to us that had the TV on too loud. I called the reception and they immediately called the room to ask them to lower the sound and even offered to switch rooms but their call was enough.
