standard business hotel, nice room decoration, very godd bedding. Perfect location just near the old town. Some minor cleanliness problems (dirty glass), room cleaning not very effective (found something left by prior customer)

Rien à dire, très pratique, très propre, très pro, très central. Sans surprise, mais c'est l'intérêt. Seul bémol : la propreté des vitres (j'étais au 10e étage)

Bien situé, calme, excellent niveau de service.
Chambre très bien équipée et spacieuse. WIFI facile à obtenir. Personnel très efficace. Bâtiment situé à deux pas du centre historique. En revanche architecture impersonnel du bâtiment et décoration du hall pas très accueillante.

Despite being part of a well recognised international chain, this hotel struggles to steer from that all permeating, post-communism, Eastern European impression. The dark, oppressively gloomy reception and bar area feel anything but inviting and bar one or two guests, it’s very much a ghost town. Which was surprising considering I was told the hotel was fully booked and as such they were unable to offer me a room on one of the higher floors. So I woke up to a strong smell of fried breakfast at 5am, presumably coming from the casino below? Unlike the wonderfully friendly serving staff at breakfast, the ladies at the reception desk were somewhat cooler in their interactions. Speaking of breakfast, it was everything one might expect from the standard European selection, with freshly made pancakes a very nice bonus. You certainly won’t struggle to find a table as only three or four were occupied during my visit on both days. The room was tiny and the entire stay felt overpriced for the quality of the hotel. Cleanliness was 5*. The biggest surprise was a nasty office chair in my room covered in stains. As for the positives, the hotel is decidedly in best location in town - the Main Street with the amazing cathedral, fantastic restaurants and cafes and easy access to transport makes the stay very convenient. Worth noting that if you order anything from the restaurant into your room, the hotel will charge you extra 6 Euros for the privilege, which was a first for me!

Clean and very presentable, Some of the staff looked down on you, I’m the one paying £200 pound a night but hey? Still haven’t refunded my 100 euros deposit 1 week later!! Disgusting really.

Standard business hotel with unfriendly staff
I have stayed several times in this hotel for work. The location is convenient but the staff is not very friendly (Zuzana) and the rooms are clean but small for the price.

Very nice stay
Location was great, the room was clean and comfortable, and comfortable bed. We had one issue with the hotel having only one elevator working, the other out of service, and us being on the ninth floor it was difficult to use to stairs and we had to wait for the elevator a loooong time each time.

Nice hotel, perfect location
Good business hotel with everything you expect from such a hotel. What sets it apart from other hotels is the perfect location, right at the entrance to the old town and still easy to get to by car.

One of the best hotels in Kosice
Whenever I travel to Kosice, I stay at the Doubletree on Hlavna Ulica. The hotel is in the former Slovan Hotel from the socialist era; however, the building was gutted and renovated and out to western standards. Rooms are always clean and have a contemporary design with a comfortable bed and a spacious bathroom. The staff is friendly and always very helpful.

A dependable quality hotel with friendly staff
Overall the staff and convenience were as usual for the standard we have come to appreciate at Hilton and doubletree by Hilton in various countries. Staff esp.front desk are a great asset to your organisation and always presents a courteous, friendly and approachable demeanour which makes guest stays and queries we may have a pleasant experience. I lost a silver bracelet during our stay and your staff are kindly keeping a lookout if it ever resurfaces. On the ‘cons’ Was not safe the parking was chargeable but perhaps it was in small print on the hotel.com site. Minor fixtures in the room (shower door handle kept falling off, the soap holder in the shower cubicle was hanging, TV power went off like it has crashed a few times.
