Hotel de qualité, un peu loin du centre de Calcutta, (45 mn en taxi), service de qualité, exception faite de l'accès Internet de très mauvaise qualité, malgré un prix exorbitant du temps de connexion (coût supérieur au coût des dîners à l’hôtel). Difficile pour y travailler.

This is my fourth time staying here. They made a great improvement in the past 12 months and seeing so many staff members on the floor, I am not seeing any reasons to stay at other hotels.

Good and neat property. Staff are excellent. I was coordinating through Ms Tithi for our transporting and other misc needs and she was prompt to the core and was receptive to all the requests. Bravo to her dedication. Driver Sureender was humble and helpful. All staff at Taj are well behaved. Thumbs Up👍.

It will be my choice for future stays
I was taken care during all my stay and definitively the level of service and comfort are excellent. It is conveniently located near the airport so it is easy to reach upon arrival in CCU. I had the chance to ask for some support during my stay and the customer service was very prompt and effective.

We stayed here in 2020 when it was Swissotel. After the renovation, it is one of the best and most comfortable hotels we stayed in Kolkata. Mostly, staff was incredible. Leaving a personal note (trying very hard) and flowers in the room was something not used to staying at any hotels I stayed. Shower drainage was very slow and the housing service took care of that quickly. Staff workers really tried hard to please guests and as a hotel, they worked together really well. If I have to stay a long term in Kolkata, I would seriously consider this hotel for sure. Mike

The service was amazing but the hotel does have a mosquito problem and also another guest abused my room number by ordering items to my room that I did not ask for and claim breakfast on my room number

So close to Kolkatta airport, reach there in 10-15 min even in city traffic. Nice comfortable place, clean and hygienic rooms, best toiletries in house.

very good airport hotel
this was our standard Kolkata airport layover hotel when it was Swissotel. Now it will be our standard layover hotel as a Taj. It's spruced up and looking good. Staff didn't seem to be quite as "warm" as the old Swissotel staff, but they did their jobs. IT guy Vikrant was a delight and patient with us old folks. Food was good. Don't like steps up and down into the shower stall, seems like a real fall hazard.

The hotel is very well located near the airport and adjacent to a lovely shopping centre. The rooms are spacious and modern and well maintained. Best of all is the dining facilities with excellent chefs who go out of their way to cater to your needs.

I’ve stayed at the previous hotel company, Swissotel and I loved it. I saw some negative reviews with Taj, but I wanted to try the new Taj new town Hotel. I was not disappointed. From beginning to end every staff treated me and my friend warmly, and were very helpful. From check-in, to the room, to the house keeping, to the delicious breakfast buffet, and outdoors security were amazing. No negatives. Thank you!
