The first room they gave had a weird smell, maybe cleaning agent or something else, Did not feel clean. Also the hallway carpet had an unclean smell. The electronic key stopped working on day 2 already !! That has happened at other locations, do you know why this happens?? It is very aggravating to go down to reception downstairs and find that the key is not working!

We had our hallway carpets shampooed recently so I am unsure of what odor you smelled. We will check into this matter today. Should you get a cell phone or magnet near room keys they will deactivate, this may have been why your keys did not work. Thank you for your review.

Very limited interaction with staff. At checkin she was busy behind a half wall and took a minute before acknowledging us and then a while longer before checking us in. No one around in the morning to check out. We just dropped the key in the box. The room was a one bedroom suite. Surfaces were clean enough, but there was dog kibble by the side of the couch. The carpet had not been well vacuumed.

We use a special cleaner on our tubs, obviously we did not do a good job in cleaning the tub in your room. I am not sure why you were woken at 9am but will check into the issue and find out why. Thank you for your review.

Suite was very nice & clean for the price. Gazebo outdoors in the grill area along with picnic table and table with chairs was an awesome surprise. Will definitely be back again.

Would not stay here again...several things not working. Coffee pot. Recliner was broken. Toilet seat was loose. No hairdryer. Toletries were not very good. Mattress was uneven and very uncomfortable. This hotel needs much improvement.

The room was the darkest place I’ve ever stayed. The only mirrors were in the bathroom but the lights in the bathroom were too dim to see clearly. The lamp on the window side of the bed worked but was not bright. The floor lamp on the other side of the bed did not work. The lamp over the desk was extremely dim. The only overhead light was in the kitchen area but the light didn’t help illuminate the bathroom or the bedroom. There were bugs in the bathroom. The woman who checked me in was so disagreeable that I was afraid to bring any of this to her attention.

the room was huge & clean. was more than we expected. the bed was very comfortable bathroom was big @ comfortable. had a work station and comfortable deck chair which we used. the staff was great, we arrived in the middle of a winter storm, with staffing issues & they made our stay great.

The general property was okay. The room was just okay. Theey are a pet friendly place. So there are barking dogs. Also, when you walk down the hallways, you get the stench of dog pee. They need to take those pet deposits and deep clean the carpets.

Ice maker in refrigerator did not work. Ants in the bathroom. Dishwasher leaked all over the floor. Microwave handle broken at base and about to fall off. I called to report these issues on my first day of my stay (3/18/2024) and I was discussing the ice maker and the receptionist said she had to go and would call me back in 5 minute, but never did. I have pictures if you want to see.

The rug is very dirty and worn out. The kitchen appliances need to be replaced because they show rust. Bugs are coming out of the garbage disposal. There was no one at the front desk most of the time.

We had to come her for daughter surgery at Turkey Creek. There was an odor and when we tried pulling the sofa bed out it the mattress was pretty nasty from what I assume were pet stains. We couldn't pull it out all the way because it was broken and one end appeared to be broken. Other it was fine..We went to Walmart and bought towels and wash clothes.

Stayed here four years ago and had a good experience. The property has not been kept up with regard to cleanliness, aesthetics, usable amenities, leak(s) in the hallway ceiling, odor (smoke, pet, trash), the door security needs updated. The staff is friendly and helpful to the extent that they can be. Negligent ownership.

We liked the low price and good location. We slept well. But several things needed to be repaired. The tub emptied very, very, slowly. The light above the sink just kind of glowed. The towel bar fell off the wall. There seemed to be poor air circulation. After a shower the mirror was completely fogged. The HVAC unit worked well but the fan ran all the time and the noise level wasn't low. There was no soap in the container in the shower. Overall, the room wasn't in good condition. Do not confuse this Sonesta with some of the nice ones you may have visited.

This hotel is gross. I found a pair of shoes in the recliner in my room. I had bites the next morning from something. The phones in the rooms don’t work. I had an emergency happen at home and my cell had fried that day. My family attempted to call the hotel from 10pm-8am but got no answer. I was told the next morning that there’s no one there during those hours. My key didn’t work to open my room. I was given a “master key” if this was a true master key that extremely unsafe to give anyone.

It is unfortunate that you did not enjoy your stay and mention the issues you had upon checking out. We have signage showing the phone number to call, unfortunately since your cell phone was not working it seems you were unable to call the Manager on Duty for assistance. Our front desk opens at 7am until 11pm so I am unsure why you were unable to speak to the Front Desk Agent. We never give a master key to any guest, we reprogram a key specifically for each guest room room.

It was convenient to a businesses we had to visited. But quiet is an unstatement because it was very noisey . The refrigerator made noise. Couldn't run the AC because it was so loud sounded like a train coming through. So we had to open the window. The screen didn't fit good in the window so bugs came in. With the window open the traffic was louder.

I booked two rooms. We were just spending a single night while traveling for the holidays. My room, on the third floor, was very comfortable, but the towel rack did collapse causing the towel bar to fall on my exposed toe. My traveling companion, on the second floor, claimed that there was no hot water for her shower.

I am so sorry your towel rack found but happy you mentioned it when you checked out so that it could be repaired. During peek times it does take several minutes for hot water to reach rooms towards the end of the building, I am so sorry your traveling companion experienced this. After reading negative comments, I was skeptical, but I had a non-cancellabel reservation. The room was clean (I checked before ‘moving in’) and stocked with what I needed. It’s not like a regular hotel stay so people cooked and that was a little bothersome, but I always bring a candle, so all was well. Jonathan and the other young man at the front desk both were friendly and hospitable. Also, staff I met in the hallways were very friendly and accommodating.

My stay at Sonesta
Just a note . When I booked this stay I did not realize that it was an extended stay hotel. No matter. My stay was comfortable and relatively clean. There was no phone in my room. Nor adequate hand soap. No toilet paper on the holder as well. The dispensers in the shower were empty . No real room service, However request for items and turn down were honored.

This hotel is more pleasant looking online than in real life. The pros: the location is good for my trip and the area is quiet and safe. The bed sheets, and bathroom were clean. The appliances were functional as expected. The cons: The floor in the kitchen area was sticky. The room had a mildew smell which triggered my allergic reactions to either mold or dust in the room. I turned off the AC which likely circulated the mold and dust particles. I opened the window to get fresh air and had to deal with the sound of cars passing by, which wasn't too loud or frequent at night. The hallway of the floor my room was on had a cigarette smell. The elevator floors were not clean. This place is very outdated and needs deep cleaning.

STAY AWAY NOT WORTH ANY FRUSTRATION
The place is in disarray both logistically and physically. Smelly rooms, floors, dirty floors and carpets, noisy appliances, non-service during my entire stay. Requested towels and room cleaning multiple times, nothing. Stay way from this place, not worth the aggravation. The night “manager” tells you to talk to the morning “manager” the morning manager tells to talk to the night manager. It’s a joke.
