After an amazing day with sun and the sand the comfort of this amazing home lowers all stresses. Enjoy a quiet evening relaxing in the hot tub or playing in the dancing lights poolside. This home is pet-friendly so you don’t need to worry about leaving your four-legged companion at home. Yellow Brick Road awaits you!


You also have easy access to the busy central Outer Banks’ treasure trove of restaurants, shops, and attractions. In the heart of Duck you have easy access to Corolla Light House and other attractions. The next day enjoy surf shops, Outlet Malls, or Manteo sites. The H2OBX water park is a quick 15-minute drive across the Wright Memorial Bridge. Don’t forget about the beautiful sound, tranquil parks, walking trails, docks in Duck, and the beautiful Atlantic Ocean.

More about us - Yellow Brick Road features hardwood floors, flat-screen TVs, a private pool and hot tub with decks off every bedroom, and a well-equipped kitchen for quality family time. The thoughtfully-created berm covered in live oak trees provides privacy around the pool. Yellow Brick Road offers an outside shower for rinsing off the saltwater after playing in the ocean. Everyone will also enjoy WiFi access and unlimited long distance, perfect for staying in touch with family and friends back home.

Many happy returns
We’d stayed at this property in the past, and on our return trip it did not disappoint. Lovely location, easy walk to an uncrowded beach. The amenities were super, particularly the pool and hot tub. The only difficulty was having to leave at the end of our week’s stay.

First time ever in OBX and we loved it! The beach was a short walk from the house and 5 min drive to boardwalk. The pool and Hot tub were amazing. Kitchen area was huge, perfect for large families.

Unbelievable Vacation House
There isn't anything about this vacation that I can honestly say that I didn't like. The house was perfect for our family vacation. The pool was fantastic, as was the adjacent jacuzzi. The rooms were spacious, as they made our family's sleeping time enjoyable and comfortable. The walk to the beach wasn't long at all, as our family made this home our home for the entire week. Thank you very much!

Deserves a 10 star rating!!
We booked “ Follow the Yellow Brick Road “ for a week. It was perfect in every way. The host was very communicative and responsive The home is beautiful and decorated to match the theme. The private pool was the greatest. To just walk outside and get in was terrific. The pool is partially shaded by beautiful trees making both sun and shade available! The walk to the beach was perfect. Some members of our party rode the bikes and took chairs.The location of the home was also perfect. Easy access north to see the wild horses. Corolla and Duck. Easy access to the south for food shopping, visiting Bodie Lighthouse, Sandboarding at the state park, great restaurants, shopping and the outlets. The house was perfect, I never saw I more equiped kitchen. The kitchen had every utensil, pots, pans, storage containers, dishes, etc…. Right down to the corn holders for our corn on the cob from Seaside Market!! Each adult or couple had our own bedroom and bathroom. Each room had its own balcony. The home is dog friendly which meant a lot to us as we travel with our two puppies who will be two years old this month. I would give this home, it’s amenities and Mandy a 10 star rating!! I highly recommend it to anyone looking for the ideal home

Relaxing Getaway
Yellow Brick Road had anything we could think of- we used the beach chairs, umbrella, games and carts to tote. We used the bikes to the beach and on the bike paths in the area. Temps were 65-70 this week so the hot tub was perfect for after the beach. We all took turns being in and out of it throughout the evenings. It was very easy to pop up to Duck for shopping, dining and takeout. We recommend walking on the boardwalk on the sound in Duck and watching the sunset!

Wonderful!
We were initially skeptical about booking Yellow Brick Road because the VRBO listing lacked reviews and the price seemed too good to be true. However, I’m so glad we took the leap of faith and booked this rental for our OBX vacation!! It’s located in an incredibly private area despite being right along the main road, and is a short walk to the beach. The house is one of the most well stocked vacation rentals we’ve ever stayed at. In the kitchen you’ll find any utensil and gadget you could ever hope for and they even have supplies for your pups! The game closet is stocked with a ton of games and puzzles, and there’s a full library of books and movies on shelves throughout the house. Each bedroom has a tv and ROKU as well! Sadly it was too cold for us to take advantage of many of the outdoor amenities during our stay but we did get plenty of use out the hot tub and the four bikes that come with the house. There’s also beautiful pool & deck, and a variety of beach toys and equipment that we hope to use during future trips to Yellow Brick Road in warmer weather :) This rental is a 10/10 and I definitely recommend it!
