We booked this house for a long term stay - 47 days. The house was described accurately from the listing. It was clean, and in a perfect location to our job-site. However, when there were issues, it was uncomfortable to reach out to the host. It seemed like each problem was an inconvenience. The oven did not work from day 1 of our stay and it took 13 days to get a functioning one in the house. It seemed I was a bother reaching out multiple times about it. Then, when the house was at 80 when my coworkers came in in the evening, I reached out to let the host know the thermostat wasn’t working, she was very upset and said we needed to “stop playing with it”. From that point, I felt like I could not reach out to her anymore with any issues that we had through the rest of our stay. The house was well taken care of for the long stay. I had a cleaning company I personally know, come each weekend to keep the house very clean and the guests cleaned up after themselves daily. After checkout, I received a message from the host stating, "The house is in horrible condition" and a request for 600. I asked for pictures, and she sent me the pictures posted below. I reached out to the house cleaner I hired, she said this was far from the truth as every weekend when she arrived, she was pleasantly surprised how well taken care of everything was. I wish things had gone differently with this stay, as we are needing to stay in this area for another month.
