« Stayed here for 4 nights. The house was well equipped and very clean. Communication with host was great. A lovely gesture by the host leaving a bottle of prosecco and box of fudge. Very close to the beachfront, which was great as parents are almost 90 years old. Didn't realise the caravan park was directly in front which was our main view, small view of the sea could be seen from balcony. Lovely coastal walks without taking the car.One downside of the area was the road in and out , it was so...

« We only spent 4 nights in the cottage because we we make a trip through the whole south of England. We could have spend more time in the cottage »

« the property is in a fantastic position and had everything that we needed. I took my 92 year old mother and it was perfect being on one level and having an easy access shower. She was able to enjoy looking out over the sea from all angles. I had the perfect spot for painting and my patner had easy access to fishing, sadly no fish!!!! but had back up sasages from our favourite local farm shop »

« Ideal stop off on our SWCP long weekend.Well equipped chalet with comfy beds. Short walk to the village pubs - good food in the Hope & Anchor. »

« Lovely stay in Pearl River Cottage. The cottage was cosy, but a good size for our young family. The location was excellent for exploring South Devon. »

« Ideal place to relax and take the beautiful countryside in. Totally relaxing holiday and stunning coastal walks and beach. Would recommend a stay at this lovely cottage we really enjoyed our time there. »

« Pipers Cottage was perfect for us - 8 people (4 adults and 4 children) and the accommodation was so well suited to our needs. The beds were super comfortable - we all slept soundly each night in our bedrooms and the downstairs was also very spacious. But the highlight was the use of the boat and kayaks when the tide came in the Creek. Rob and Sian (the owners) were so kind and thoughtful during our stay and even offered us a free extra night at the end of our week long rental and a late checkout...

« Perfect cottage (Oak) for extended family aged 12-82! Layout could not have been better and allowed for multiple activities to take place simultaneously, keeping everyone happy whilst all ‘together’. Spacious, well equipped, immaculate and cozy with stunning garden (ideal for Easter egg hunt!). Great location too. »

« I’ve been going to the south hams for decades and we were visiting family for a long weekend. We decided to stay at stancombe farm as we wanted the flexibility of eating in and out. Our accomodation was really well equipped and we cooked a few times and had everything we needed. Microwave, Nespresso, dishwasher. The cupboards had all the little items you often need salt, pepper, vinegar. Location wise just above Chillington. A real credit to the owner. We will be back. »

« We had a lovely 3 night stay. The cottage was really clean, had every thing we needed and a brand new gorgeous bathroom. The bed was really comfy and lovely linen, which is important to me! The location was perfect. Walking distance to the little harbour, the shops and pubs/restaurants. The cottage is small but exactly as advertised and for 2 people, it’s perfect. »

« The property was very clean and well equipped, unfortunately we ran into a few problems. Check in day revealed television problems , the next day a tv expert found a cut antenna wire. We had to turn on the heat for the towel rails, We never had evening or morning heating. »

« Croak cottage is a home away from home. Beautifully presented and every detail thought about. The garden is fantastic for a family, with access to the esturary we were able to paddleboard every day, and drying everything out was so easy afterwards. The views are stunning too. »

« Right in the centre of town but tucked away and quiet, The Hideaway was perfect for a long weekend in Kingsbridge area. Lovely local independent shops and surrounded by beautiful countryside. Would definitely stay again. »
