Welcome to 1 Ruscon Cottage, a charming three-bedroom cottage nestled in the peaceful village of Brancaster Staithe on the North Norfolk coast. Ideal for families, friends, and couples seeking a cosy escape, this rustic cottage provides a perfect blend of relaxation and convenience. Enjoy proximity to Norfolk's finest beaches, such as Brancaster, Hunstanton, and Wells-next-the-Sea. Ruscon Cottage 1 benefits from off-street parking for two cars, a pet-friendly environment, and a private garden.

The Space:
Step into the welcoming living room, where you'll find two comfortable leather sofas and plenty of space to relax. Entertainment options include a TV, family board games, and Wi-Fi throughout. On cooler Norfolk evenings, cosy up by the wood burner for added warmth and comfort.

The well-equipped kitchen, located next to the lounge, comes with all the essentials, including a fridge freezer, electric oven, hob, washing machine, and dishwasher. You'll also find a microwave, Nespresso coffee machine, kettle, and toaster. Turn up the kitchen stereo and enjoy some music while preparing meals. The dining area comfortably seats up to six guests, perfect for family meals or planning the day's adventures.

You can rest comfortably in one of the cottage's three inviting bedrooms during your stay: a cosy double room, a twin room with two single beds, and a bunk bed room. Each bedroom is thoughtfully furnished with crisp, white linens and ample clothing storage.

The cottage boasts two bathrooms for your convenience. The upstairs family bathroom features a shower over the bath, a toilet and sink, as well as a charming skylight. Downstairs, you'll find a second bathroom with a standalone shower.

Unwind in the patio garden, complete with outdoor furniture, a log store, and a lawn area. For added convenience, there's a washing line—perfect for drying swimsuits after a day at the beach!

Guest Access:
Guests have access to the full property. The keys to the property are accessed via a secure key safe and full details will be provided shortly before your arrival date.

Two well-behaved dogs are welcome to stay on the ground floor of the property. They must be kept downstairs and off furniture at all times. Please donot let leave any dogs unattended in the property.

1 Ruscon cottage is available to be booked with neighbouring cottage 2 Ruscon Cottage, allowing you to extend occupancy up to 12 guests. Perfect for large family reunions or even just for two families who wish to explore Norfolk together but enjoy their own space. Please search '2 Ruscon Cottage' to view the calendar or contact us to discuss availability for both cottages.

Whether you’re flying kites on the beach or hiking through the marshes, Brancaster Staithe offers a peaceful retreat with plenty to explore.

The village boasts a variety of local seafood pubs, restaurants, and cafĂ©s. Visit The Jolly Sailors, The White Horse, or the Deepdale CafĂ© and Crab Hut to enjoy fresh, locally sourced seafood. If you're in the mood for some shopping, don’t miss Dalegate Market, where you’ll find gifts, local art, and delicious treats. Brancaster Staithe and Burnham Deepdale sit halfway between Hunstanton and Wells-Next-The-Sea, two of Norfolk’s most popular family-friendly seaside towns. Hunstanton is known for its thrilling seafront fairground, endless rides, stalls, and the Sea Life Centre, making it a great spot for kids. The nearest train station is in King’s Lynn, around 40 minutes from Brancaster Staithe by car. Regular train services connect King’s Lynn with London King’s Cross, as well as other major cities.

Great locationGood sized bedroomsSome road noise, could benefit from investing in triple glazing to the main bedroom window.Lots of lamps around the house but no bulbs..Well equipped kitchen but lack of storage for food items.Still a great stay had by all.

Stayed here over NewYear and the cottage was in a great location for walks along the coast. Nice layout of the home with cosy living area.Overall pleasant stay.
