Ka Hale Olu at Anini Beach offers nothing but a true Hawaiian vacation experience and a truly sought-after location. This retreat has been recently and completely remodeled (2020) to provide you with the ultimate vacation home - everything was rebuilt.

The property is made up of two separate homes with two lofts, making it perfect for groups and families looking for a breezy and exquisite place to stay. The spacious lanai boasts exquisite views of the impossibly blue Pacific Ocean, just yards away. This is a fantastic spot to unwind as you on your morning coffee or host delicious alfresco meals. Hawaii's near-perfect temperatures and lovely tradewinds make it easy to live your life in the stunning outdoors.

Inside the main home, a spacious living room boasts vaulted and beamed ceilings and an airy feel with tropical ceiling fans. It also invites you to spread out comfortably and relax on upscale furnishings as you watch a fun show or movie on the TV with cable. Browse on your phone and social media using the free WiFi available. Surprise your guests with exquisite homemade meals prepared in the well-appointed kitchen, which will surely delight the family chef. Boasting bountiful cabinets, all stainless steel appliances, white stone counters, and a large center island, the chef will have everything needed to create a family feast. The adjacent dining room is a lovely, open space to enjoy a meal together. Additional perks include an enclosed outdoor shower (perfect for rinsing off after a fantastic day at the beach), a washer/dryer, and a gas grill.

The second retreat has a studio layout with wall-to-wall windows allowing for magnificent vistas. Unwind in the inviting living area, also furnished with comfy seating and a TV. This home away from home enjoys a kitchenette (no stove, microwave, or hot plate), with a full-size fridge, a sink, and a coffee maker; a full bathroom, and a cute dining area.

The entire property is conveniently located near eclectic Hanalei, Kilauea town, and all the treasures of the North Shore of Kauai - you are in the perfect location for your Hawaiian adventure!

Amazing house right by the beach

We had an amazing girls trip at this house with 5 adults and 1 teen it was the perfect number of beds for all of us. Would be perfect for 4 couples and 2 kids able to climb a ladder as well. We'd wake up, make coffee and then take the short stroll across the street to the beach access. Snorkeling gear and floaties were available for a few of us to really enjoy the reef and calm waters at Anini. The location was just perfecct for relaxing and enjoying time with friends. We even picked a few oranges and lemons from the back yard to add to our meals.

Amazing home for a family vacation

The house along with the guest house made for a perfect family vacation. The best part was being able to grab a chair and walk across the street to the beach. The house is well stocked with cookware and conveniently located close to restaurants. Highly recommend.

Bliss at Anini Beach!

We had the absolute best stay at this beautiful home on Anini during our family Christmas vacation. It’s not often that you walk into a vacation rental and say “Wow, it’s even more beautiful and more spacious than in the photos”. And the beach just across the street, magic! There were 8 adults (4 couples) and two toddlers in our group and it couldn’t have been a better fit for us. The main home & cottage were stocked with everything we could have needed during our weeklong stay, the kitchen features, cooking supplies and dining ware were especially impressive. The bedding was lovely, and the linens (including beach towels) exceeded our expectations. We loved the open air feel, every room has view of the beautiful greenery surrounding the property. However, the vented windows do also mean that the resident rooster gives you an early wake up call - but it wouldn’t be Kauai without that! The children in our group were too young to use the loft, but we all said that it would be so fun for older children! The beach toys were a nice surprise, we did have to rent beach chairs - could be a nice thing for the owner to supply in the future. We also would have loved to have some lawn games (corn hole, etc) and lawn chairs as we spent a lot of time in the backyard in the evenings. Overall, we couldn’t have asked for a better place to spend Christmas with our family - would love to return and have already recommended this home to a few friends!

Great property!

This property was perfect for our family of 10. It is beautifully maintained, clean, and in a beautiful location. All pictures and amenities were true to listing. Secluded area and easy access to beautiful Anini Beach. We had no issues with temperature and not having AC. It was even better to have the shutters open and there were plenty of fans. And yes, the roosters are there to greet you bright and early! Have a cup of coffee and enjoy the beauty surrounding you!

A wonderful property.

This is the best rental on Anini Beach. All appliances are up to date and the beds are top notch. You won’t beat this location, right across the road from the beach access. The beach at this end of Anini beach is mostly deserted.

Great House, Terribly Maintained

This house has some great features, some not-so-great features, and some serious issues with maintenance and management. First, the good news: it's a spacious house (actually two houses) with a smart floor plan. Our group of 8 adults and 2 children had no trouble fitting in, and the overall feel was great. The location is fantastic if you are looking for easy access to a quiet beach. The beach is literally across the street and down a short path, and Anini Beach is a perfect beach for small children and swimmers, protected as it is by an offshore reef. An absolutely beautiful spot. The main downside of the house is that the main living / dining / kitchen area, and the primary bedroom, are both very warm in the afternoon and evening. My wife and I almost gave up the big bedroom for a small one just because it was so hot in our bedroom. In the end, we didn't, but we regret it. There were plenty of fans, and we had them all running, but it got very hot. Other issues with the house: absolutely no storage space for food (we ended up piling groceries in the laundry room). And, important to know: no spices, oils, or anything like that that we usually expect to find in a well-stocked kitchen. This meant we had to spend a lot more on groceries than we normally would. The reason we would not rent this house again, however, is the quality of the management and maintenance. It was our first Vacasa rental, and though they were always polite and professional, the house was not well maint
