Great holiiday
Our stay at sandjunes was great. It’s a great beach shack with beautiful water views from the versnda and lovely sea breezes. It was good to be disconnected from tbe outside world and get back to family time. Sandjunes has your basic amenities which is all you need it was good to be off the grid and anything extra we needed eg fan. It was battery operated and a shop/restaurant around tbe corner for good food. Bree the owner who is on site is just lovely to have a chat with and very easy to get along. I would highly rate this place if you want a holiday that us a bit more environmentally friendly

Great K’gari accommodation
This is the second year on a row the five of us have stayed at Sandjunes on our annual K’gari tailor fishing trip. Bree is great to work with and the location near the beach and the shop is ideal. The house is well set up, the kitchen is functional, the beds are ok and the double bed in its own room is ideal for the tallest member of a group or the champion snorer. We’ve already decided on Sandjunes for our 2024 trip.

IT has an amazing view of the beach, and the whales passing in the surf. We love to be with nature, and relax without technology. It provides us with exactly what we needed for a complete break.

Sandjunes on K'gari
Our family had a delightful stay in Sandjunes, a beautiful high set home with a dreamy view of the beach and waves. Despite the somewhat inclement weather, there was plenty to do & see and a cosy cabin to which to return. We enjoyed soaking up the outdoor atmosphere from the wrap around verandah, a delight of 🐦 bird activities and some whale watching🐋. The house was clean and functional. Bree was on hand to share local knowledge.

We really enjoyed our stay, Sandjunes was very clean, quite and the location was perfect just 250m from the beach we could here the ocean. We felt close to nature in the surroundings. Bree was an excellent host and really friendly.

Lovely house in a great location
Lovely older style house in a fantastic location. Ocean views from balcony, cleanest BBQ I have used in a holiday let property, letting contact person is very communicative and helpful, house nice and clean. Good facilities with a fridge and chest freezer, good kitchen with gas stove (4 burner), gas grill and gas oven. Highly recommend.

Bree was really nice to me and my family. We stayed there just before Xmas and my partner was 7 months pregnant. I was concerned the house would be too hot after reading the add about no fans or aircon, so I bought a battery fan with me. I didn’t even need the fan because of the cool breeze that constantly ran through the high elevated house. The house represented it self as the information provided on the ad and the view knocks your socks off when you first see it. A view of coconut trees Beach and the ocean all on offer. It’s almost impossible not to open a beer and sit there to enjoy it. Thanks Bree for the wonderful holiday and we will see you again another time!

Awesome Place
Our family stayed at Fraser for the first time ever and what an amazing place to visit. The accommodation had everything we needed and the view out of the water from the balcony was breathtaking. Bree was very helpful throughout the stay and would definitely recommend Sandjunes to anyone

Lovely, clean home with a wonderful view and quick access to the beach. Bree was a wonderful host and her passion for the environment and keeping the ecosystem around her area for the wildlife is inspiring. Definitely off the grid place, which was soul refreshing. Make sure you read the terms and conditions to avoid little surprises, like no toilet paper, cold showers and no onsite parking.You may have to wait longer then 2pm to check in, and the fridge and freezer is shared with the property manager.I'd say basic is an understatement for the price.

We had a nice stay at Sandjunes Happy Valley The place was quite nice to stay at, it was basic but comfortable. The view off the back balcony was great, sitting there in the afternoon enjoying a drink with some nibblies with a nice breeze blowing through. The Host Bree was nice and accommodating and was helpful with local information. Would recommend staying at Sandjunes

Better than camping
If you don't want to rough it in a tent, but don't want to stay at one of the resorts, then this is a good central location. It is quiet and away from traffic. It is very basic, but has an ocean view and beautiful breezes. If you don't have enough people for the larger houses, but don't want to stay in apartment style accommodation, then this is an alternative.

Sandjunes was clean and had a wonderful view.
We had a week long stay and Bree was very accommodating to us. The location is great and central to most landmarks on the island. The house slept all guests comfortably and the house was very clean. There were some issues with the power but it did not affect the quality of our stay. Great location and property.

Perfect base to explore and relax.
Sandjunes is a lovely home with all the necessities needed to relax after a day of exploring Fraser and it's beautiful surroundings. Happy Valley is a great location to access what the island has to offer. Being 'off the grid' was the perfect disconect for my family of four and not having the worry of setting up and pulling down camp was really appreciated, not to mention the comfort of a hot shower at the end of the day. We all enjoyed relaxing on the verandah and watching whales cruise by. Our nine day stay was made more enjoyable by the caretaker, Bree who was a wealth of knowledge and so obviously passionate about the island and the local environment. Highly recommended, we'll be back.
